The Ghost in your Closet
Michahael couldn't hear Jonah's steps behind him anymore and he turned around to see that the prince had vanished. 'Jonah?' He called, looking around. He began to walk back the way they'd come, searching for the prince. 'Jonah!? Shit.. damn it.. i knew this would happen. i just knew it..' He cursed, searching for any hint as to where the boy had gone. He stopped an old woman on her way to the market. 'Have you seen a kid, about this tall? Wearing a hooded cloak?' The old woman shook her head. 'No, sorry love.' She said. Michahael cursed again. Where the hell was that guy?
'Get him in the carriage.' The criminal snarled to his buddy, passing Jonah to him. He ushered the boy into the back of an old supplies transport, shutting the doors on him. 'Don't try to escape now Pet. We're going to make a nice wad of cash on your precious hide, now behave. You might even get to work for some of the upper classes. Now wouldn't that be nice?' He chuckled before he shut Jonah in. He climbed into the front with his friend and they set off. There were other people in the back of the vehicle, more kids around Jonah's age. Kids from the working classes that no one would really miss, or so the criminals thought.
