From what I have heard at the last Gen Con I was at, the developer of the Savage Worlds Robotech game is planning on putting out more books in the series. No idea on release dates, though.

Okay. Let’s see if I can push through and get this guy done.

So, did I make a mistake choosing this RCC? It looks like I get two more skill choices in the OCC related skill section. And one more in the secondary skills. Is that enough to get the pilot skills I need? And I was hoping for boxing as well.

I think I need to take:
Pilot Veritechs
MECT

Right? Any others?

Those are the only ones I took. Remember you're Level 3, which might give you more skill choices. If possible, take the skills that don't have an actual % associated with them like MECT as the higher level choices, as they're unaffected by starting from Level 1 proficiency.

Sage advice. Boxing is also another one that has no percentile to it, so it can also be picked at a higher level without any penalty.

Yes. Good point. So, I get 1 level 1 choice and then a level 3 choice, both for ”OCC related”. And then one at level 2 for a secondary.

As you level up, if you wish to upgrade your HtH Skill from Expert to Martial Arts, that would be a good choice, too.

It would be Pilot Ground Veritechs. You can hold off on the MECT skill for it and just use your basic skill for now when piloting it.

So, if the RCC doesn’t have MOS and I take “Fast Learner and Jack of Many Trades” what happens? Or can I not take that since the RCC doesn’t have MOS?

You can take Fast Learner and then pick one of the MOS skill packages from the UEEF Marines book.

I would suggest either Fast Learner or Fast Reflexes as the two to choose from. In my opinion, they are the best ones to pick.

Getting Hand-to-Hand: Commando upgrades my current Expert to Commando, right? It's not in additional to.
Correct.

Have you thought of what skill package you'd like to pick up? The Marine Close Air Support would give you the Pilot Veritech and MECT skills you need, or you can go with the Close Quarters Combat Expert to get your Boxing and upgrade to Commando. Either one would be good for you.

True. It just depends on what direction you wish to go with.

Yeah. I thought about Close Air Support, but then I realized I don’t fit in anything else, really.

So, then I was thinking STORM Team Basic Training for that reason. I’ll try to add it tonight and get him complete.

That is a good selection. Don't forget to pick up the MECT skill for your Beta with one of your other skills.

I think she's done? I don't see any steps I missed.
Awesome. Also, just to let you know, I have added to the Lore listing for the Valkyrie a couple of optional replacement booster pods for the Super Veritech pack. One loaded with mini missiles instead of the short range ones, and a radar dome recon pack to give a squadron more electronic detection capability.

WlfSamurai WlfSamurai I noticed that your sheet is still listing your HtH bonuses from Expert, not Commando. Also, with Boxing, it gives you a base of 5 attacks per melee round, and level 3 puts you at 6 attacks per round in the Beta fighter.

And also, don't forget that your Beta will not have the ordinance in the bomb bay. It has been replaced with the Silverback for you.

Yeah, I was half working on it on my phone this afternoon. About to do some more. Almost done.
