If you don't have the Weapon Systems skill, you have two options. You can try a Iq x3 roll and hope you get it, or wait for the fight to be over and have someone else with the skill make the roll instead; either a PC or NPC would do.

Thanks for the advice. I just don't know how valid an answer it would be, considering that Ian's technically led at least one battle against the Invid.

I've no objections either for what it's worth. I always have a rough time with when is appropriate to speak or act in terms of scenes with a lot of military decorum and ceremony and all that. So these games tend to be especially rough for me to fill out a character's personality, but I think I'm in a good spot with Jake so far.

I sent out a couple of invites to some good players to join us, and have had WlfSamurai accept. I have no idea on what race or class he will play, but we'll work that out.

As far as character classes go, Psychie is a STORM Commando, Jaydude is a Military Specialist, and Rykon is a Veritech Pilot. The whole team are also human, so you can pick that or one of the various alien critters out there.
