Fantasy Tyranny of King Valerian - A Fantasy GroupRP (Closed and Over)

To the Northwest upon the Old Mountains there was a tremor Not a tremor of earth, but a tremor in the fabric of magic. A gap was being filled, and through this gap fell a small boy. He fell from a long forgotten place. As he plummeted towards the earth, his hidden power takes control and in a brilliant flash of ancient Script, the boy is torn from mid air and place into the path of a VERY surprised and brooding monarch.
"W-Who are you?"

Valerian noticed he was talking to someone young, he knelt before the Child and said:

"How did you get in here, my child? Did you hear what I was saying?"

After hearing the door close Rehiem got up and looked at where King Valerian looked where he was praying at. "Hmmmm very interesting. I must take a note about this." He muttered as he wrote what he heard and saw in a new notebook. Heading out of the Chamber of wisdom. "Hmmm the time for me to face the king is drawing closer I must get resources." He muttered as he headed to the swamp to get some which he didn't like going to shops after one to many shitty prices and items.

@RedTeam Grif

There was a voice. A very sad voice. That voice needed a friend, but first, that voice needed a face.

Xer'Lai opened his eyes slowly and took int he sight of a vaguely familiar man.

'He must be a friend.'

"Are...Are you a friend?"

In one of the not so many(?) swamps around the place, there sat nestled in mud up to near her back sat Sakaga the Swamp Strider. She made little bubbles in the mud as she purred happily. Her big wooden hands churned the mud like a happy kitty kneeding its paws. She cared not for the creatures crawling around on her back and sludging through through he mud near her. What a nice day!

Walking throughout the swamp. Not liking the mud and the gunk on his steel toed boots but it had to be done. Picking flowers he didn't notice the swamp strider as he began to pick at the vines and the mushrooms that was growing on her wooden body.

"I don't know you, child. What is your name?" he asked, kneeling before him, to match his height.

"Xer...Xer'Lai"

Xer'Lai faints, as hir recent magical displays have exhausted his already diminished reserves.

(I have to go to class. Bee back in little over 3 hours sorry.)

Sakaga felt the little pulling of some of the stuff growing on her and shuddered a little, making the mud around her quake slightly and some wood on her groan. She wondered what was picking at her body, was it just an animal eating the mushrooms? Well, as long as they dont tear off wood or hit flesh she'd be okay with it.

Noticing the bubbles but ignored them he then felt the small quake as he tapped at the wood. "Maybe just a tree fell not to far from here." Rehiem though as he kept picking. Taking note that it seems more curled up he tapped again at the wood. "Ah I see." He said with a smirk before dragging his hand around the body of Sakaga he tried to look for the head.

Sakaga heard the voice and felt the hand of a human now. She made a noise under the mud, making the bubbles grow bigger. She wondered if she should scare this human off, usually they dont strick around when she reveiles her true size. She did like being pet though, and it felt like the human was petting her. She made a loud audible purr from under the thick mud and her body shifted.

Valerian

Valerian looked at the child and smirked, he said "I am King Leon Valerian Forrester. It's nice to meet you... but what are you doing here?" he asked.

"I haven't left the castle in years so I have no idea what we're getting into," Bailey says quietly. She crossed her arms and furrowed her brows. Thinking.
"This next city has managed to keep itself peaceful for a while. Not much crime happens here. However, that's why it's become the go-to for fugitives, thus a go-to for mercenaries. Since you escaped, there's a chance that you may have a fugitive bounty on your head soon. If you've just escaped today, it'll be out in about 2-3 days. You're good for now, but we'll have to split in a few days"

Tyr woke up in a cold sweat. Panting, he looked around. Nothing. It must have been a dream. The same he has been having ever since he went on his quest. After making a meager breakfast of beans and bacon, something crosses Tyr's mind. Well, I guess crosses isn't the right word. It hits him like a boulder. That girl. The one who was talking about the king. She must be on her way to Toron. The same place as that dreaded man. Quickly, Tyr puts out his campfire, grabs his pack, and heads out to find this girl they call "The Adventurer".

((Hey, where is the group of heroes? If anyone is against the king, would you be willing to meet with my character?))

Bailey nodded, patting the horses head. What would they do when a bounty wasn't put out? Shell come up with an excuse maybe. She was slightly worried about being caught but she could make a quick get away, and possibly even kill one of them. She would most likely get punished for being caught too. She shook her head, and looked forward

"Are you alright Bailey?" she asked, seeing the girl's nervousness. "I promised you that I would keep you safe, I will not break that promise. You are under my care, I don't want you hurt."

After minutes of looking, Tyr comes across the group on the side of a small road.

"Oi, lass! Din't you say that you were going to see the king?"

Ari scoffed. "You up for a suicide run too?"

"Calm yourself." Arabelle said to Tyr. "Speak, but do not insult anyone who is here with me. What do you need?" she asked.

[QUOTE="Safety Hammer]"Shut it, Scales," Tyr says with a glare, "I'm 'ere to talk to the lass."

"I can handle my own damn self," Bailey scoffed, rolling her eyes. "I don't see why you doubt me, everyone gets injuryed. Plus you can learn alot from just watching someone train," She felt frustrated, not used to having people doubt her abilitites, even when she was an actual slave.

Get used to it, amateur. If you plan on coming, you're stuck with me whether or not you like it."

"You were a slave. I would think that that would be probable cause for doubt. I'd humble myself because if you were as good as you seem to believe you are, you wouldn't have gotten caught."
