Fantasy Tyranny of King Valerian - A Fantasy GroupRP (Closed and Over)

"HE STARTED IT!", Tyr says pointing at Ari. "You know what, never mind. I didn't come 'ere to argue with snake kid. If you are going to the king, you 'ill have to pass through Toron first. And I am headed to Toron to fini-", Tyr pauses. "To settle some business. So I thought I would come along."

"Everyone shut up!" Arabelle shouted loudly and clearly.

Get used to it, amateur. If you plan on coming, you're stuck with me whether or not you like it."
"You were a slave. I would think that that would be probable cause for doubt. I'd humble myself because if you were as good as you seem to believe you are, you wouldn't have gotten caught."
"She already said she was taken as a slave when she was 8. I certainly didn't know how to fight well at that age, I learned from my brother when I was 10. Stop testing her."

"Fine, come along. Just don't cause any trouble to us or there will be so many swords through you you won't have a single intact organ."

((I kinda like the whole rivalry thing between Ari and Tyr))

"Amateur?! Who do you think you are callin' an amateur, kid?"

Bailey opened a pouch, and took something out of it, and bit into it. A few moments later she jumped off the horse. "If you want to test me, I'm happy to humor you," She sternly said, glaring.

"Look who starts the finger pointing. Childish." Ari sighed and shook his head disapprovingly

(It is pretty interesting)

"And yelling, as if you actually have something to prove."

Ari didn't bother pointing out that it's an even higher cause for concern as that means she hasn't had any formal training. He scoffed and continued walking. "I hope you have a plan on what we're doing. This city is a high density gathering ground for mercenaries and bounty hunters. We have about 2 days before our child slave here gets a bounty on her head."

"I would actually. You were a slave since you were a child, so doubting your ability to handle yourself in a life/death battle is logical."

@RedTeam Grif

Seeing the larger bubbles he smirked. "There there no need to be alarmed reveal yourself great giant of the swamp." He said to her before patting her his forehead rested on hers.

Bailey smirked, her eyes glowed, her hands gripped her daggers. She got into a royal fighting pose, and charged with three quick jabs and a long slash.

Arabelle pulled out her swords and blocked Bailey.

"This war is hard enough without in fighting! Stop this foolishness this instant. Ani stop bothering her, or I'll ask you to leave us. I don't need someone causing trouble."

"You managed to dodge?" Bailey gapped, before collecting herself. Her body went transparent, and she rushed him, sliding underneath, and kicking him forward as she popped back up behind him.

Tyr steps out from behind Bailey and knocks away her daggers. He then unsheathes his great sword and points it at her neck.

"Now lass, this can go one of two ways. Either you tell us why you just stepped into the battle position of the royal army, or I'll gut you like a fish."

"Look! We're staging a damn coup against a king! How in the blue hell am I........are any of us, to trust each other with our backs if we can't even gauge our skills? I'm to trust my back to a child slave and a guy who'd sooner kill me than look at me. You have blind faith. You know nothing about any of us or our capabilities, and if we can't gauge each other's skill, we're all gonna die due to doubt and hatred."

"I grew up in a castle, I watched the king spar. And Ari, your not to bad," She said, picking up her daggers. "If you can't trust me enough to let me show what I can do, then I see no reason to ho into battle with you," She stuck her hand out "Trust me or not it's your choice,"

"Now Scales o'er 'ere I don't like, but he has honor. The king,on the other hand, he has taken more from me than you can imagine, slave girl. Now TALK!"

"I'm all for testing your abilities. Hell, I need to test yours more than anyone else." He pointed at the leader. "But our pack leader here is against it."

"You don't think he's taken from me? I was ripped away from my family, saw all of my friends get slaughter infront of me and had to watch the only person who actual cared about me in that whole castle die, and I couldn't do a god damned thing! I trained myself by watching the man who took everything from me!" Bailey yelled, her voice shaking.

"You royalist scum,", Tyr says bitterly, angry tears forming in his eyes, "You haven't had you wife gutted infront of you for being an elf... YOU HAVEN'T HAD YOUR CHILD KILLED FOR NOT BEING HUMAN!!"

Arabella stepped forward. "We have all been hurt by he king. Let's set aside what happened and just unite to destroy him. Please listen to me, there is no other solution." She put her hand on Tyr's shoulder. "I'm sorry you lost your family." She moved to Bailey. "I'm sorry you lost everything. We will get him and destroy him for what he has done."

"Look." Ari said. "More cause for doubt. Our child slave here just unleashed a royal fighting position. If we're not allowed to gauge our abilities and know what it is, we won't survive. Let us fight and we won't kill each other."

Bailey swallowed, followed after Tyr, and smiled sweetly "I'm sorry about your family," Memories flashed infront of her eyes, but she shook her head "My friends were elfs," she said. She turned her back and walked ahead a little ways, not wanting to show the few tears that rolled down her cheeks.

[QUOTE="Paint The Wind]Arabelle glared at Ari. "Stop causing trouble. They are hurting, leave them alone. You need to stop fighting." she said angrily.

He sighed again. He looked at her, fire in his eyes, but level voice. "And what good will that do, huh? She just hit a royal fighting position, and it triggered his memories. You're so focused on trying to keep external peace that you're blind to the internal aspects of this group. We. Don't. Trust. Each. Other. Ok? What if I didn't almost engage with our child slave and she pulled that shit on a real battlefield? Our snake-hater would've killed her on the spot. External peace means jack shit if we all hate each other. Why do you think 2 opposing men can bond over the clashing of swords? Everyone respects a strong opponent. It establishes a level of respect and innate trust on the battlefield."

Ari started walking to set his tent. "You can keep putting this thing off as much as you like, but if you wait too long, we're all gonna die because we're too doubtful of each other to turn our backs to fight enemies."
