"Well okay then." Tyr said as he climbed up the stairs. "I'll be back later! Come on, Scales. We'll go hit up a pub on our way."

"Aye. Lead the way." Ari followed Tyr's lead as they made their way out. It seemed weird to Ari that things were so blissful that there was, in fact, a monster ready to end it all for everything, yet they're there buying cold ones and acting as if they couldn't die at any moment. Maybe it was a coping method? Maybe trying to look at the brighter things in life? Maybe to drink their probable death away?

Sakaga watched the female hand out stuff to people, it shined. She blinked, what was that for? And why was the other female givingit back? She didnt understand anything. She just lay there and watch.

Sakaga made a deep audible rumble of happiness as everyone refused to leave the pack.

Arabelle sighed softly and walked away. She didn't want to be responsible for their deaths. She wished she had never gotten involved. If they died she wouldn't ever forgive herself.

Arabelle rubbed Sakaga's head. She smiled sadly. "It's okay. I'm okay."

Sakaga wrapped an arm around her again and licked her. Why was this female always sad? It was a thick scent on her and Sakaga easily noticed it.

Arabelle sighed softly and leaned against Sakaga, enjoying the licking.

"Now," Tyr said as he wrapped his arms around the shoulders of Ari and Bailey. "How about we get one last drink and hot meal from the pub in Oldville before we march to our dooms, eh?"

Soon Sakaga's licking started slowing, then stopped as her head fell onto her arm with a soft snoring sound and wrapped her arms tightly around Arabelle, her head nuzzled up to her.

Arabelle looked at Sakaga with a smile and decided to go along with it, cuddling with the sweet strider and trying to sleep.
