Fantasy Tyranny of King Valerian - A Fantasy GroupRP (Closed and Over)

"Best I've had in a while." Tyr said, finishing his second mug. "Food's good too. I'm gonna get some more." On his way up to the bar, he bumped into an orc, accidentally spilling his ale. "Oi, asshole. Did you juss' spill me drink?" The orc said, shoving Tyr into the bar. "Now lad, I've got me girl over there. And I don't want to be starting any fights. I'll pay for your drink, okay?" The orc looked over at Bailey. "That bitch o'er there?" Tyr threw the first punch, knocking the orc over the table. The result? A bar fight.

"Oh my god, why?" Bailey groaned, "seriously, why do men insist on doing this?" She moved so she wouldn't get hit by a flying piece of table, and finished her scotch.

After taking out a few more patrons of the bar, Tyr was lifted up by a troll and thrown out of the window, and face first into the snow.

"Ow." Tyr said, muffled by the snow. He looked up and picked pieces of glass out of his arm "Ow... Ow... Ow..."

"How about-" And with that Tyr passed out. Partially from the alcohol, the rest from the concussion he got falling out of the window.

"Wow, ok, let's see if I can get you back to camp before you die," Bailey chuckled, picking Tyr up on her back. It may not look like it, but she's very strong. She climbed back up to camp, patched him up, laid him in his tent, and curled up in her sleeping bag next to the fire, and fell alseep.

Dean was stuck in the bar, dealing with orcs and trolls. " Bastards. All of them. " He said, walking out and fleeing. He was angry, they practically abandoned the scotch drinking maniac. Now they have to deal with an elf. An angry elf.

Arabelle was sitting at the bar and trying not to get involved bus as soon as one guy started eying her and chatting her up her eyes narrowed and she glared at the man. "Back off if you know what's good for you." she spat, looking back at the bar.

Queen Fraya:

huntsman_winters_war_film_01-628x353.jpg

Fraya looked down from her Ice throne to her assembled Nightingales, her best agents available to her.

She had decided her course of action. The mad king would no longer be unopposed, her lot was with this group setting out to stop him.

Looking to the assembled crowd she spoke, her voice clear an firm with authority.

For too long has the mad king gone unchecked.

He has killed men, women and children

All in the name of this paranoia of his.

I gave you shelter, protected you from his schemes.

No longer shall we hide here in the frozen north.

It is time the king has felt the cold touch of winter

Turning from the crowd as they applauded her speech. She selected a pair of owls and tied scrolls to them.

She spoke in a gentle voice.

Go, bring our allies to us

She watched the owls fly, heading for the group of adventurers and another....another to someone who deserved to know the truth

@MrPotato

(also to anyone in the group looking to stop the king feel free to react to the owl :) )

Seth continued to trudge aimlessly through the forest. As he wandered, an owl flied gracefully in the air and it seemed like the owl was seeking for Seth.

Seth laid out his forearm and the white owl landed on it. In its claws held a small carefully tied scroll.

Seth decided to retrieve the scroll. As he took it from the owl, the owl flew back to where it came. Seth opened the seal of the scroll and read it.

@Haus Of Alaska

(Btw, what does the scroll says?
:P )

@MrPotato - It will be a note from Fraya, basically confirming its her by saying something only seth would know she said and giving him directions for the north and where she can be found.

(ok thank you (^~^))

Seth kept the scroll in his pocket. He estimated where the North would be and started to head quickly for the North, ignoring the injury that spikes him once in awhile. He thought that he should get treatment quickly once he had arrive.

( Oops, nevermind. )

Dean sas back at the bar, laughing his head off. " Quite a show you put on there, guys. Not bad. Not bad. That 7.5 out of 10, needs less stinky, old, smelly creatures. " He said, drinking out of a bottle of scotch.

Queen Fraya:

With her duty done, all she could do is wait for someone to arrive.

Her scouts in the area would send word as soon as someone entered her domain.

They only knew to let seth pass for now, until she learnt the identity of the others.

Stepping down she walked to the yard where recruits trained and she watched them.

They would need to be firm in their beliefs, in their strength.

She looked further north again and shivered, even as a Cryomancer, the cold coming from the well in the north seemed to get colder.

The gods were stirring and what would happen to humanity was anyones guess.

@MrPotato

Fortunately, Seth was not far from the ice fortress in the North. Within an hour, the ice fortress came into view.

As he approached the ice fortress, several guards on duty welcomed him with a salute.

His injury struck him once more. The cold had strengthen the pain and he fell to his knees before he could reach the gates. Several guards tried to tend to Seth.

Queen Fraya:

Sometime later a steward came rushing into the throne room. He was blustering but confirmed that Seth had indeed arrived.

Standing from her throne, she came down the steps and out the doors just in time to see him collapse.

Most of the people standing around were silent as she approached him.

Get him to the healing rooms immediately he needs rest.

She laid a hand on his cheek, she could scarcely believe he had made his.

Her eyes shimmered slightly in relief that he was alive and out of the kings clutches.

However I did not make her news easier to reveal.

Once they were in the rooms and warmth, she saw him bandaged up.

She knew he had grieved as she had for what was lost but the truth had been given to her but not him.

She owed him the truth at last.

Seth we need to speak

@MrPotato

Seth sat up from the bed. He was dressed in new and thicker clothings to comfort him from the cold. Seth raised an eyebrow at Fraya, "What would be so important right now?"

(Sorry for not being active for so long. I had my head in some deep s***, but I'm back.)

Amos

Amos after dispatching the enemy ran towards the Old Mountains where the Heroes were headed. He couldn't let them find Alreos... he couldn't or he would be dead.

Queen Fraya:

Fraya sighed and sat by the bed Seth was resting on.

Looking down her hands then back up.

Its about our daughter and her part in Valerians madness/

She straightened her back and looked him in the eyes

She was not killed by that hybrid that was found in her room,

It was Valerian behind the murder, he had hoped to sway more to his slaughter of hybrids and thought that her death would do this.

She looked heartbroken to be speaking of this but the truth was out. at last

@MrPotato

Seth was shocked to hear the words coming from Fraya's mouth. The king he had served for a long time was the murderer of his daughter. He hung his head in disbelief.

"How did you know? Why didn't you tell me?"

He asked, still unable to accept the answer.
