J looked between Helena and Nicoli, "Daughter?" he looked a little surprised, "I didn't know why you left. But you have a daughter and a wife? That isn't Helena?" he looked confused.

Helena smirked, "No. We can go to Hector now and explain everything on the way." she suggested.

Nicoli smirked, he forgot a lot of people didn't actually know why he left. That was going to take some explaining. "Yeah...yeah explaining all of that may be good." He said, rubbing the back of his neck. The longer he was awake the more all of his senses were going back to top notch.

Helena smirked as she led the way, J stay with Nicoli as they followed, "So, a wife and a daughter?" he commented, "What tower are they from? I am a father myself, I have three little brats in the North tower right now. Since the war, I wanted to focus on winning, the North tower is connected to one of the most peaceful planets, so they have been staying between those two worlds, while I deal with this. My older son is going to join me in a few months, after he finishes his combat level seventy eight, you know how hard that one can be. But my daughter is a Healer and Nurte, so she is going to the South tower to help with food supply, next week." he stated, as he looked sideways to Nicoli, "I imagine your daughter must be pretty advanced for her to be placed in this tower."

Nicoli looked a little abashed. "They're human. My wife is...was. My daughter is a half-blood. Though I'm getting an inkling she may be far more powerful than I'd thought she would be." He said. "I...I left our world for the human world to be with my wife. If I could have brought her here I would have but we all know that doesn't work. Rebels attacked our home, Eric's kid brother got my daughter out, but my wife and I were not so lucky." He could still feel the ghosts of where he wound so had been. "I look forward to meeting your family J, I can imagine they're as amazing as their father. Did you marry your betrothed?" He asked. He was watching Jeremy carefully. Waiting for the look of disgust or disbelief that he'd become accustomed to when mentioning he'd fallen in love with a human woman.

J looked amazed and then smirked, nodding, "Yeah, I married mine. Would have married yours, but my parents were more aggressive towards my betrothed, then someone like Kevin's parents." he teased, patting Nicoli's shoulder, "I am sure she was a wonderful being." he said, then smirked, "I look forward to seeing how your daughter's powers rival yours."

Nicoli glanced to Helena with an amused grin and then back to Jeremy. "As do I. I've only seen her briefly since I returned. She's seemed awfully gung-ho on getting back to some task she had...I think she's still getting used to the idea that she's no longer an orphan." He said.

J smirked, "Sounds like she is taking after her father." he chuckled, "I should warn you, Kevin and Julia have had some changes. Still stealing kisses from each other on missions, but Julia hasn't aged as badly as you." he teased, "But she has had an accident. Kevin on the other hand has also aged better then you with some little changes. He was kidnapped on a mission for nearly six months." he sighed, frowning, "Julia was a little hard to deal with, during that time."

Nicoli smirked a little, but he wasn't still serious. "I am glad they are together still. They were always perfect for each other. Are they still mission able?" He asked. He knew for some warriors injuries - both mental and physical - that took them out of the field could be hard to deal with. Those from this tower lived the life of defending and fighting. Anything different was a tough adjustment for many of them. It had been one of the hardest adjustments for himself when he'd gone to the human world.

J nodded, "Yeah. They are more then mission ready, Julia is a lot more protective of Kevin, being a Dier and Kevin is a lot more careful, but they both are still the perfect weapon." he sighed, as they got close to the Healing Hall, "In fact, I'll show you were they are, Kevin nearly got hit, the spy sent a harpun right through Julia."

Helena smirked back at them, "How about I get my uncle and you two catch up with them?" she suggested.

NIcoli nodd d, giving Helena a smile of thanks before looking to Jeremy. "It went right through her? Is she okay?" He asked. He understood the life here, but even when he had lived in the tower, his friends getting injured always caused an uneasy feeling within him. Now more than ever. He really had turned his back on everyone.

J nodded, "She is going to be fine. They are setting her out for few days, give you some time to catch up." He smirked, "Just so you know, don't approach Kevin so quickly, before you left he was more relaxed, but when he came back, he was on edge for weeks. Didn't believe he was home, so he attacked everyone, even Julia. Whatever they did, to try and get him to talk, did a number on him. From the report, he is mission ready, but he is still not as laid back as he used to be and his guard goes up sometimes. Just a heads up."

Nicoli looked to Jeremy sadly. "I'll keep that in mind." He said quietly. "I know we can never think about the what-ifs. That was trained out of us early on, but I can't help wondering if any of that could have been avoided if I'd stayed." He admitted. He and Heremy had always gotten along well. Truth was Nicoli had gotten along with just about everyone, but there were not as many that he held close as friends. Jeremy, Kevin, Julia, Helena, and Eric were some of those few.

J sighed, shrugging, "Maybe. I mean, you were about as good as me." he teased, knowing he was a step behind Nicoli in many ways, but he smirked, "You might have been lucky like me, not to be hurt as much as some, but we both know, worrying about that is just going to get us killed." he sighed, as they got to the hall.

"I will meet you guys in a sec." Helena assured them before leaving.

J turned to Nicoli, "We might not have known why you left when you did, but no one blames you. Honestly, you were missed, but we got along without you fine. I wouldn't be so human, and worried about these things. Just try to survive the next few minutes."

Nicoli watched Helena go a moment and then looked to Jeremy. An impish smile that he was known for spread across his lips. "I'll try." He assured him, all of his human worries fading. "And for what it's worth? You coulda lied a little and told me you all were hopeless without me and missed me terribly." He teased. He was glad to hear though that they had been doing well. He knew he was not needed for that, which was another reason he felt okay leaving to go to the human world.

J smirked, "I'm your rival, why would I want to do something like that." he teased as he lead him to the room where Kevin and Julia were. He knocked once before opening the door to find, Kevin standing over the bed, Julia seating, her head against Kevin's shoulder, as he held her. When the door opened, Julia's eyes changed threatening feline and growled, Kevin looked straight before they noticed J walking in and both relaxed.

Kevin noticed Nicoli first as he smirked, "Well, look what the cat dragged in." as he moved away from Julia towards Nicoli.

Julia smirked as she sat up straight, still holding her side, over the wound that was slowly healing, but still covered in dry blood "Nicoli." she said, the right side of her face had a claw scar to the right side of her nose and under it, over her eye and the corner of her lip.

Nicoli grinned at Jeremy and then turned his attention to Kevin and Julia. He walked to Kevin, shaking his hand first and then pulling him in to a tight hug. Other than becoming a father, Nicoli had not changed much from when they were younger. He moved to Julia next to hug her, though he was sure to be careful of her wounds.

Kevin smirked as he moved to Julia's side, as they pulled out of the hug. Julia smirked, "So, what's the next mission?" she asked.

Kevin smirked, "Not now." he said, "You need your rest."

Julia looked ta him, "They brought Nicoli back for a reason, from whatever tower he was. This war is getting pretty back, rest isn't really something we can afford. Besides, what better team then ours." she pointed out, before she got to her feet, jumping down, he growled and cried out a little from the pain. Kevin quickly at her side to help her, "I'm fine." she panted, smirking at Kevin, then to Nicoli, "I don't think Kyle will be helping out, this time, he hasn't really be on a mission much, one or two, but nothing really. We could always get Anthony for the Healer, his father taught him everything."

Kevin sighed, "She is just as stubborn as ever." he chuckled, glancing between J and Nicoli, "A lot has happened lately. We can't trust everyone like we used to. This war is a lot more complicated then before. She got a harpun through her gut."

Julia glanced at Kevin like he was being silly, but then looked at Nicoli, "Our son could come, he isn't like me, but he's promising. You remember Gabriel, he's all grown up and even gut some Spy training. Kelly is a Spy, so we might not catch her." she commented about their children, she looked at Nicoli for a moment waiting for him to okay her for whatever mission he was going on. She was always like that, a fighter and she was proud that her children were skilled enough to be good fighters and none had turned from the values they were taught, like so many others had.

Nicoli listened to them in amusement, they had hardly changed at all. But he knew he couldn't let them keep thinkingvwhat they did. Telling J was one thing, but they had been a tight knit team every time they went out. "I can't believe Gabriel is so old now." He teased a little. "I look forward to getting to meet your children." He added before he started with a sigh "I'm not assigned for a mission. Not yet. Hector had sent for me, but I am not entirely sure what it had been for. Thing is..." he glanced to J and then back to the other two. "I had been living in the human world. I-I had a human wife and a half-blood daughter. She's here too actually. Hector had sent that boy, Eric's kid brother for me. Rebels attacked and killed both my wife and myself. Helena only just brought me back." He explained. "I will see what Hector had sent for me for originally and get caught up on everything that has been happening here. But as of now, I am not on a mission." He said.

Julia and Kevin looked at him surprised, before Julia snapped, "YOU DID WHAT? You left us....for the humans." she looked at him amazed.

Kevin sighed, looking at Nicoli, he nodded, "We will understand."

Julia looked at him, before she snapped again, "NO. NO. No, we won't understand." She pushed off of Kevin, "You left us. Without a word. Without a warning. One night, we were waiting for the wedding in the morning and the next, it was off and you were gone. Helena was gone. This war started and you had no idea. No idea about any of it."

Kevin sighed, "Julia."

"NO." she snapped looking at her husband, "This war has been a nightmare and he has no idea. They took you from me. For nearly a year, they took you and I waited for Hector to call him. To return him back to this tower so we could find, but he never did." she turned her rage to Nicoli, "You left us for them. We are warriors, we protect them, we don't live with them. We don't try to be like them. You grow up knowing humans were weaker then us, we could never live beside them in fear of hurting them, when they fear us." she looked at him, fighting tears, "I lost Kevin for over eight months, with my children asking for him, everyday. I fought a pack of Diers, nearly being killed. Kevin was tortured for months to find weapons that were not blood tied." she stopped, "And you left. You were safe. You were always with your family. You abandoned us. We were loyal to you and you just left."

Kevin sighed, "Julia." he snapped, before he leading her to the bed. He sighed, lifting her in his arms to lay her on the bed, "You need to rest, my love. Just a little while and then we will talk." he sighed, looking to Nicoli, "I'm sorry. She needs rest." he frowned, as Julia took a deep breath and turned to her side that wasn't wounded, "We will talk soon, okay?"

Nicoli didn't flinch back or try to argue. "She had every right to be angry Kevin, as do you. She is right." He said gently. He looked to Julia. "I would have come back. Had I known I would have returned." He said gently. "But I did leave you. I thought things were getting better but that changes nothing. And I know it means nothing, but I will do what I can to help now I am back." He said. He took a deep breath, running a hand through his hair. "I won't lie and say I'd change how I didn't things. My wife...she meant everything to me. And my daughter, she's the best thing that has ever happened to me. I hope you can meet her. But, but I wish I could have come back to help when Kevin was missing. I didn't think you needed me Julia, you two and everyone else on our team was more than capable, I was just a piece. I am truly sorry for what had and has happened." He said. He didn't want to convince her to stop being angry. SHe had every right to be.

J bite his lip as Julia crossed her arms not making any notion of thinking of saying anything else. Kevin sighed as he moved towards Nicoli, he smirked a little, "It's been a little hard. This war came out of no where for us and things just didn't got any better." he took a deep breath and placed his hand on Nicoli's shoulder with a smirk, "I'll talk to her. You didn't know, it's not your fault anything happened. Julia has always had a temper, you know that." he smirked, "We just need the rest. The traitor was a good friend, so she is still emotional about that too." He frowned, "But...Nicoli...I don't want you to feel any worse then you do, but parts together work a lot better then when one is missing. We always worked a lot better together, when you left, it was hard to get that rhythm back." he smirked, "But you are here now, that is what matters."

A knock came at the door, as Helena pointed her head in with a smile, "My uncle is waiting for you."

Nicoli gave Kevin an apologetic look as he glanced to Julia again. "I'm not going to leave again." He promised. Even when they brought Olivia back he'd make something work. "You're my family and I will make it up to you. To both of you." He promised. He looked over as Helena came in again and nodded his understanding. "I'll catch up with you guys more later...if that's alright." He said to Kevin and J and Julia. He stepped back to go, not wanting to leave his old friends but knowing he needed to give them space. It was not an easy time. He turned and followed Helena out of the room to go to where Hector waited for him.

Kevin smirked, nodding, "Yeah."

Hector was waiting outside the room and smirked, looking at Nicoli up and down, "You have grown quiet a bit." he said before he sighed, "Helena tells me you need an update and that you plan to stay a while." he smirked, "Also, that you were concerned with why I called you back."

Nicoli smirked when he saw Hector but nodded. "Yes. I would like to be caught up on everything, I shouldn't have left but now I plan to stay and help. Knowing what you'd wanted me before my...untimely death would also be good to know. I'd also like to know what you've been having my daughter do with the lack of experience she has." He said with a faint smile.

Hector smirked, "Nothing she couldn't handle, I assure you." He motioned Nicoli to walk with him. "I called you here for a mission to get the shadow weapons I left with you to a more secure location. I didn't plan to pull you back in, but I was needing you to relocate them to a place that couldn't be reached. I was afraid that you had been identified and would be attacked. Unfortunately I was too late, Rowan, Adm and Emery went to your house to retrieve the weapons, bring back one of the ex-spies we fished out a while back, Emery's betrothed. After an interrogation, I learned that the rebels were thinking of hitting the castle for the weapons. So, Rowan, Adam, Kyle, Emery, Caleb and another went to hit them off site, they brought back another spy we fished out, Kyle's wife, Azra. You might recall she was a head strong woman, she hasn't become any less stubborn. Also, Eric was brought back. He died on a mission at near the beginning of this war, we found he and his shadow weapon had been taken and with stolen shard fragments they had enough to bring him back to life. I can't say much more of the subject, for the moment. Just so you know, Rowan is on a mission at the moment concerning Brendon and Eric. Which you know, mean I can't give you many details and even less now, since the mission is based in the tower. In the last few years, we have had 17 percent of our warriors killed, 23 percent brain washed and about 6 percent change sides. For the moment they are focused on this tower, but the west and east tower had reported attacks on their missions." he sighed, "Our forces are being stretched thinner and thinner as the days go on. From what we have gathered the shadow weapons without family ties are what they are after to include the kills and force our hand. But I think wherever your daughter selected, should be safe, only two people know the exact area, three know where and only your daughter knows exactly where in that area that those weapons are. As long as that is kept between us, she should be safe from any danger. My concern at the moment was we I reached out to my niece. On the mission when you met Helena, you learned of the east tower trying to create alternative shadow weapons that could kill only our kind and leave the humans untouched. I have three reports stating the project was abandoned by the other shadows on it, when you met Helena, but the rumor is, she perfected it to the point that she might even be able to alter them to using magic like a shadow weapon does, also. It is that reason I asked her to help Rowan with this time of grieving and was going to ask her to stay and help Rowan adjust." he smirked, "But since you are here, I am sure Helena will be too. We need to protect her for the moment, until we can put the rumors to rest. Otherwise, I fear that not being able to find the real things, might make her a target." he stopped as he looked at Nicoli, "Nicoli, I don't think I will survive this war." he sighed, 'And honestly, I wasn't going to ask you to stay longer then that one mission. But with the threat on Helena and because this war has hurt so many we both care for. I have to ask you to do a mission with a selected team. Kevin and Julia were included, but after this last mission, Julia is too wounded to be pushing herself at this point and they have been apart long enough. I am thankful he was one of the few we got back alive. Kelly is on a mission at the moment, but Gabriel is mission ready and Jeremiah is also ready. I will need a few days to get every set, but I need you and Jeremiah to lead the mission together. I know missions only have one leader, but this mission needs you both and the team I have selected he knows a bit better then you do."
