She looked over to him and gave his hand a gentle squeeze. "I didn't have a lot of friends back home, just one good one. I suppose when I have time to miss it I will miss her too. I am afraid of missing any of it though, I'm just trying not to think about it at all." She admits.

Kyle* smiled, nodding as her commented and sighed, "Maybe you should visit. I can take you to visit with them, to make sure that they don't worry. We managed to clean up what happened, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't pop in and let them know you are okay." he suggested.

Rowan couldn't help looking to him a little surprised. She assumed once she was here she wouldn't be returning there unless there was no choice. "I would like that. I think...I think maybe it would be good to wait a little while though. I'm afraid if I see her...well that I'd just end up an emotional wreck." She says with a weak laugh.

Kyle* nodded, sighing, "Maybe you should be then." he suggested then added, "i don' mean that it's good for you to be a wreck, but you were raised there. You shouldn't expect to think of death as we do and we shouldn't make you feel like you have to. It always hurts when someone you love dies, but we think differently. Maybe you need someone that thinks like you?" he suggested.

Rowan gave a small shrug. "Sometimes it would be nice." She admits. "But then again, I have to see things how all of you do sooner rather than later. I...I just feel like all of this had been a sink or swim type of situation. Which is wrong maybe, but...I don't know, it's..." she sighed and shrugged, then tried to give him a smile. "So tell me more about what we'll be doing for the report." She says.

Kyle* slightly smirked, "The report copies your memory using a mirror jar. It's a magical potion that will show you the memory. It's also used for anemia to help people remember."

Kyle* nodded, "It is. Keeps the leaders in line and the others too. It's not easy to alter ones memory and the brain is very unforgiving to any attempt to. Not to mention that as long as we are smart and careful, even the dead can share memories. It's actually an art, like warriors. That's why my father has a day policy. Every mission has to have a report per day during by the morning of next day. So if there is no report a scout goes out, usually a spy to check why."

Rowan nodded some in understanding. "Well I am excited to see how it works. It sounds interesting." She says.

Kyle* chuckled, nodding, "It should be good for you, you will see that you can do it ." he in courage her as he lead her down the hall as they got to the four floor.

Rowan smirked and nodded, looking around as they walked. Then she looked to Kyle and smiled more. She was glad he was showing her.

Kyle* lead her to a room and opened the door, motioning her to go in. There was a bowl with a melted like silver that moved, waved in the room. He smirked at her, "That is the potion." he said, motioning to the bowl.

Kyle* smirked as he looked in the bowl, "It's pretty easy, you place your hand in and close your eyes, thinking about it and use your magic to move through it like water."

Kyle* smirked, "Just think about what you went through and feel it, you should be able to use the right magic if you relax."

She was nervous but then nodded. "Alright." She says, moving towards the water. She hesitated a moment and then out her hand in the water, closing her eyes and doing as Kyle* said.

Kyle* watched her as the water went still, he smirked as it started to change and images flashed through.

Rowan's eyes moved feverishly behind her closed eye lids and focused solely on the mission, the rest of her body and mind seeming to know what to do for the magic piece. Before too long she felt that it was done and slowly opened her eyes.

Kyle* smirked at her, as he took her wrist and pulled it out, "See all done." he said motioning for her to see the memory as it started to play in the silver water.

Rowan blinked her eyes a little, it left a strange feeling but soon she could focus on the memory replaying. In was surreal to watch but cool at the same time. "Wow..." she says, smiling some.

Kyle* smiled at her "See, it's magic." he chuckled, looking at the memory, "That was the easy part, I'll do the hard part for you."

Rowan looked over to him and smiled a little. "What's the hard part?" She asks curiously. She wanted to try, but not if it was going to mess something up.

Kyle* smirked, "Turning these memories into words." He sighed, shrugging, "I'll get it done, do you want to do or go somewhere right now?"

Rowan shrugged. "The only place I have to go is my father's room." She says. "I'd like to help with anything else if I can." She says.
