Fantasy Two Worlds Collide

[Matreania]

Hector sighed as he and Kyle* were going through the reports, there were a few missions that had came in and not as many that went as well as Rowan's.

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan knocked lightly so he knew she was there and then stepped in. Her gaze landed on Kyle* and Hector and she forced a small smile. "Adam thought I should come talk to you." She says. She assumed about the mission. 

 

[Matreania]

Hector looked up at her and smiled, "Am I going to take it as you managed to get the mission completed?"

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan smirked a little and then nodded. "Yes, though I have a feeling you already knew that." She says with a shrug and a smile. 

 

[Matreania]

Hector smiled"I have a feeling about that." He chuckled, "At least that is good news."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan nodded a little and bit her lip, she didn't want to take up too much of their time and yet she had so many questions. Perhaps for another time. "Is there anything else we need to talk about? I'm afraid I'm not sure how this is supposed to go." She says with a smile. 

 

[Matreania]

Hector smirked, "Well, Kyle* can help you." He said motion Kyle* to go help her.


Kyle* looked up and nodded with a sigh, before he stood up. "I'll explain it." He said befor going towards her, "Most know about leading missions but I will explain it all to you."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan looked between them and nodded a little. "I-if you were busy I can come back later." She says, realizing that she probably interrupted them. 

 

[Matreania]

Kyle* went to her and sighed, "I'm sure you could, but I also think my father can deal with it all by himself." he smiled at her motioning her to go and he followed beside her out of the room.

 

[FangAndOzy]

She looked between them and then left as Kyle* motioned her out. "I am sorry." She says. She sighed a little. "So what is it you're going to show me?" She asks. 

 

[Matreania]

Kyle* smirked, "Well, the chain of movement. Normally we know the results of the mission when you get back. But the report is actually something we expect within the first three hours. After the report we check on the people that have returned for a debriefing. I'm going to show you how to do the report."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan nodded. "Okay. Is it like a...written report of what all happened?" She asks curiously, sure it was different in this world than what she'd expect. 

 

[Matreania]

Kyle* smirked, "No. It's a lot more accurate. It's a memory report. It gets translated into words for filing but it's a memory copy that is taken from the mind to be reviewed. It's pretty basic." He told her as he lead her to the fourth floor.

 

[FangAndOzy]

She nodded in understanding as she followed him. "I see. Will this be something I learn to do on my own?" She asks with a smile. 

 

[Matreania]

Kyle* smirked, nodding, "I am going to show you how to do it. There is a room that you will copy them in, just to make sure that you keep the memory. If you do the spell anywhere els,e you could lose the memory forever."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan nodded in understanding. That made it alittle daunting but she was sure she'd learn.  

 

[Matreania]

Kyle* bite his lip, "So how was it?" He asked, "I heard you found Eric and Azra." He added, "I imagine that it wouldn't have been real easy for some of your team because of it."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan bit her lip and then shook her head. "It was hard. I mean I guess I'm glad we found them though, especially if something can be done for them. But I can't imagine what any of them are going through right now." She says quietly. 

 

[Matreania]

Kyle* nodded his head, "Yeah. Kyle must be really torn, being the one that wounded his own wife and Brandon, Emery and Hayden I would imagine are feeling a surreal form of a dream with Eric here, alive."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan nodded sadly. "Yeah, probably. I just...I wish there was something I could do to help all of them. It there isn't anything." She says. 

 

[Matreania]

Kyle* chuckled,nodding, "Yeah, that sounds like something that a good lead would want. It just makes you a good leader." He assured her.

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan smirked a little and shrugged. "I don't think I'm a good leader, I just..." she shrugged again and looked forward. 

 

[Matreania]

Kyle* chuckled, "You just, what?" He asked playfully. "You know, I think I would know a good leader when I see one. And checking on your people before you check in to report is pretty good."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan couldn't help smiling shyly, looking away as a light blush covered her cheeks. She didn't know how to respond to that, but it did make her happy. 

 

[Matreania]

Kyle* glanced at her with a smile, he took her hand, "You are going to find some peace her, you know? There are going to be some challenges and you'll miss home and your friends, but you'll love being here all the same." He assured her, knowing how easy she would fit into this world.
