Rowan listened curiously as she stayed back a little. Watching all of them and listening intently. She was genuinely curious about it all.

Hector looked at Emery, "I want you and Karrel to deal with finding this out." Emery grinned nodding as he nodded and walked off to the Sanctum. Hector looked at Adam, "Help Rowan to her father's room and then bring her to my office. We need to talk."

Adam nodded as he motioned Rowan to come with him.

She looked up when she heard her name and then looked to Adam. She nodded and moved to follow him. She hadn't thought she'd be staying in her father's room, though she was glad for it. "What do you think he needs to talk to me about?"

Adam shrugged as he relaxed, "He is Hector, there are a lot he can talk to you about." he said as he walked with her up the stairs he turned to her, "But I was the better fighter, wasn't I?"

She couldn't help giggling some. "Of course." She says. She hadn't really noticed how either of them fought. Or how many either of them killed. Just that they'd both had to help her.

Adam smiled, "I told Emery." he said as he led her though the hall, "Are you sure that you don't want me to carry those for you, I have two free hands and no claws now." he teased.

Rowan hesitated. "I guess you can carry this one." She handed him the one with her clothes, smirking a little. "How long do you think they'll allow me to stay in my dad's room?"

Adam smirked as he took the bag and shrugged, "As long as you want, I guess, I mean he was your father and it would be wrong to just toss his stuff out. But I guess if they do move you, they would after the burial."

She nodded some. She supposed that made sense, but based off what Emery had said she doubted she would be allowed to stay. "Thanks for helping carry my stuff." She says after s moment.

Adam nodded as he walked her to the door and smiled, "Sure, but do you now the key to get in?" he asked as he motioning to the door.

She shook her head no. "I mean I remember the pattern or whatever, but Kyle said it used magic." She says.

Adam smirked, "Well, try it, the worse that could happen is it won't open, unless your dad put a trap." he said, "But don't worry, I will keep you safe."

She laughed some. "Great, I feel so reassured." She says. She stepped forward, hesitated a moment, and then did the pattern. There was nothing at first and then the door clicked open. She grinned, looking to Adam excitedly.

Adam smirked, "See, you are a natural." he said kicking the door open as he went in and put her back on the bed and looked around, "Always wondered what it looked like in her, kind of looks like my room."

She laughed a little as she set her other bag next to the first and then looked to Adam. "I would think most of these rooms would be pretty similar." She says with a smile.

Adam smirked, looking around, "Did you not notice the neat freak Emery's room? We can change stuff and your father was a messy teen." he chuckled.

She laughed. "That's hard to believe." She says. "Emery being a neat freak isn't though, I suppose you're right about that." She says with a giggle.

Adam smiled as he sat on the chair, "So, how do you like being here? Do you want me to help you unpack?" he asked as he watched her.

Rowan shrugged a little, sitting on the edge of the bed. "Honestly I wouldn't mind having the company. But I don't know if I should unpack yet if I'm not staying here. That and weren't you supposed to bring me to Hector? Or was that only after I was settled." She asks.

"When you were ready." he stated as he shrugged, "We have time for other stuff if you want to hang out just the two of us." he winked, "I am always up for anything."

She smirked a little. "I'm sure you are." She hugged herself a little and shrugged. "Well then I suppose I can unpack and you can keep me company." She smiled. "You've been a really good friend to me Adam, thank you." She says gently.

Adam pouted a little at being called a friend and sighed, ten shrugged it off, "I have Emery as a best friend, so I am obviously a good friend." he teased before he looked towards her, "Tell me more about the boredom you lived, I want to know what your father saw in it. I mean, birthdays sound....questionably like when my family comes to visit."

She laughed a little and shrugged. "For some people that's all birthdays and holidays are." She thought for a minute. "Honestly, I'm sure my mother is part of it. She was human and I doubt he would have left a life he loved so much if he didn't love her even more." She smiled a little and looked down. "I don't know what your relationships are like here but they always acted like a couple who was still in that early stage. They were always holding hands, or my dad would always hold my mom, they would snuggle on the couch and steal kisses all the time. It was always a little weird to me but now I think about it I guess it was sweet." She bit her lip and then shrugged. "Anyway, boring stuff huh? Uhm, well there was school. Took up most our lives." She says with a light laugh.

Adam looked at her confused, "Is that like training?" he asked, not sure what school was."We spend a lot of time training." he stated as he looked at her curiously, expecting her to have all the answers.

She laughed a little. "Yeah I'm a sense I suppose. But where you train to fight we're trained to live in our world. It is..." She thought a moment, not sure how to explain it. "Do you have lessons where you read books or learn history? Perhaps mathematics?" She asks.
