Davina smiled some. “They know I have things to do. I will make up some tea for you. I have a concoction of pain killer and sleep aid for you to rest.” She said.

Helena smirked, "Thank you, I am a bit tired. Acting like I am okay, isn't easy and it kind of hurts when I move too much, so I think sleep will help a lot."

Davina gave her a small smile. “I’ll make sure you get plenty of rest and sleep. You don’t have to pretend here anymore, not with me.” She said gently. She went to make the tea, it didn’t take long before she was bringing it back to Helena.

Helena smirked, "Thank you, Davina." she said as she took the tea, seating up to drink it and then she sighed, "You know, you were always a good mother to me."

Davina smiled. “Darling I love having you as my surrogate daughter. Maybe...we’ll is it wrong of me to hope you and Nicoli get together now he is back?” She asked quietly.

Helena looked at her surprised and then smirked, shaking her head, "I hope for that too. But I respect that he fall in love with someone else too. I don't want him to think he has no other choice. He didn't choice me then, I don't want him to chose me, now that there is no one else to chose."

Davina smiled some. “You wouldn’t be a left over Helena. We both know Nicoli. He loved you Helena. He loved you deeply. I don’t know about this human woman, I can only know her through my son and granddaughter. But you? What he felt for you was something else entirely. I wish I could explain why he left but...well, just try to rest dear. Things will figure themselves out. And I am glad...I’m glad Rowan has you too. From what I’ve seen.” She added.

Helena smirked, "No matter what happens, Rowan will have me to help here, how ever she wants me to." she assured Davina, "She is my blood, even if she isn't my daughter." she stated, knowing that Rowan probably still didn't understand what that meant.

Davina smiled some. “She will understand that better as she learns. I am still glad.” She said gently. She lightly brushed Helena’s hair back a little and then turned to pack up some of her things. She would leave them here for now since she would be back soon.

Helena smirked, "I'll rest here. I think you might have to keep Nicoli out of trouble, I can't imagine how much he dislikes Kyle* for making me go." she smiled, "And please advise Rowan to go see Devon, last thing I want is her to come up with an bruise like the one on her cheek, again."

Davina smirked. “I’ll bring her to Devon myself. I noticed that bruise. And my son looked awfully guilty.” She smiled a little and shook her head. “I will be back in a few hours to check in Helena. Try to finish the tea and get some sleep.” She said gently before turning to leave. Doing exactly as she promised and going to find Rowan to bring her to Devon.

It didn’t take her long to find her granddaughter and to walk with her to where Devon was so she could go over what ever she needed to.

Helena smirked as she laid down, to rest.

There was a snap, before everything stopped around Nicoli, and a smile, she didn't like too much company and she was not really good with other Shadows, buts he knew him and so she froze the whole tower, "Nicoli." she said softly and playfully as she tilted her head. Iyana did like showing up to meet her team, at the last minute, but she knew Kyle* woke her for a reason and she wanted to see one of the reasons, herself.

Nicoli looked around in momentary surprise and then smirked. He knew only one Shadow with power like this. He also knew what it meant when she came around. “Iyana?” He said, turning to see her. “Well, long time no see.” He said, crossing his arms, his faint smile remaining.

Iyana smiled, taking one step it seemed before she was in front of him, "It has been a long time." she said in her mild soft voice, with most Shadows it scared them, but looking at Nicoli, she knew he wouldn't be afraid of here. "My nephew let me out." she smirked, "Guess that means your little war is getting a little too big." she teased, before looking into his eyes, she placed her hand on his cheek, "Oh, you poor Shadow. You should have stayed home. You were warned to stay home. You would have been so happy, but instead you were caged to play love to the only anchor you had." she pointed out before she sighed, frowning a bit, tilting her head, "You should stay home now, or you will only hurt yourself forth." she warned before she smirked, pulling her hand away, "This is going to be fun."

Nicoli looked to her, confused. He thought he knew what she meant but then Iyana saw things no one else did and he had learned not to question...at least too much. “You know I can’t stay home and sit back Iyana. Did your nephew tell you what kind of mission you’ll be going on?” He asked curiously, unsure if she would tell him or not.

Iyana looked at him with a smile, before dancing away a few feet and smiling even more, "Back to the Darkness, of course." she chuckled, "And you are home, silly. You are were you should be." she assured him before looking around, going to Rowan and looking at her, "She looks interesting." then she frowned and made a face, "Part human," then she smirked, "But my blood." she looked to Nicoli, "See, home." she motioned to Rowan, "She is home, you should stay home." she said and then looked to the others, and sighed, "Do you think they will hurt my heart if I made this go away." she said motioning to everyone but Rowan and NIcoli. "Your father is always so grumpy."

Nicoli tensed a little as she went nearer to Rowan. He knew she wouldn’t do anything but he could get a little too worried for his daughter, even if he didn’t show it. He took a small step forward, wanting to ask more questions about the mission to the darkness, but then realizing Kyle* would be the one to talk to. At the mention of his father he smirked. “He is always grumpy,” He started. “Iyana what do you mean will of your your heart if you make this go away?” He asked her, keeping his tone gentle.

Iyana smirked, "My nephew took took it. Binding magic, he has become so very strong in these years." she smiled even more, "He warned, be bad, be dangerous and he will hurt it." she chuckle,d "My nephew threaten to kill me. Oh, these Sciences have become so smart and clever." she laughed out loud, as she took a step and appeared in front of Nicoli, she smiled up at him, "Your Science. My niece, is she still clever as well. I wnat you to say it."

Nicoli fought hard not to flinch back as she appeared in front of him again. “Helena is still incredibly clever Iyana.” He answered gently. He didn’t mind Iyana, had seen what she could do the mission he’d had with her. But her power around everyone else also made him a little nervous, especially with his daughter here. He debated answering her first question, but opted to stick to just the one about Helena first.

Iyana smirked, "You still feel it, don't you?" she grinned, "The difference in out power." she giggled, "Don't worry, so much, Nicoli, I won't hurt your daughter unless she gets in the way. I never hurt you." She looked around, "You know, this was silly. A human doesn't belong in this world. They would be killed." she looked at Nicoli, "And it is very silly, it'll kill Helena in days, if she keeps trying." she warned before stepping back, "I'm going to the Deep, find me something to play with, until Eric is done." Iyana turned to go but stopped, looking at Nicoli, "Just be careful, they might not be Shadow Weapons, but they can still kill us. Keep her safe, I would hate to kill my own niece. She looks so much like me." she said before she vanished, unfreezing everything and everyone in teh tower.

Nicoli felt a chill run through him and left the area before his daughter and mother could see him. He’d been on his way to greet them, but now...now he wanted to know why Kyle* had let his aunt out. Even if for a mission he couldn’t figure out why he let her put so early. He’d always been conflicted about Iyana. The woman was powerful and incredibly useful. He liked her just fine even got along with her he supposed in the best way he could. She didn’t frighten him like others were afraid of her. But he knew she was dangerous too. And Helena. He wanted Helena to stop. As much as he’d love to see his wife once more he knew she was gone and needed to stay that way but he didn’t know how to make Helena stop.

Kyle* was in his office when he noticed it, time had stopped and he sighed, Iyana had visited somewhere, she was harmless that way. If she wanted to she could make this down know her and she was far more dangerous then when she was upset. He glanced at the chest on his desk, he could hear the beat of her heart and she seemed to be just watching, her temper was calmed and Kyle* knew that if he tried to stop her she would get upset, like she had when Hector brought her back to the tower, after finding her in the Darkness. She had killed her father and nearly destroyed every warrior in the tower, but Hector stopped her, she loved Hector and that was the only way that they trapped her. Kyle* was reminded of that story every time his aunt was released and he reminded himself now.

Nicoli made it to Kyle’s* office and knocked before entering. He saw the chest first and remembered what Iyana had said and then turned his gaze to Kyle*. Isn’t it a little early to be releasing your aunt?” He asked. His voice remained calm and controlled. “I mean don’t get me wrong she’s a delight but shouldn’t it be closer to a mission before she comes out to play?” He asked. He stayed near the door that was now shut behind him, leaning against it. He had made sure to keep his tone calm because he was more interested in the mission itself.

Kyle* sighed, as he worked, "My father will be back tomorrow, he ordered her released before he got here." he looked up at Nicoli, "So, she visited you, I gather." he said before he went back to work, "I shouldn't be surprised. You were the only one allowed to keep your memory of her. All her other missions, the teams don't even know who she is." he stated, before he stopped and placed everything on the desk. He looked at Nicoli, "I get you don't like what I do. You try hard to show me the respect and be calm, but it's obvious that what I do, you have questioned every turn, because I'm not my father and he always seems to make the decisions that you trust. But this is going to be the last time I will explain myself to you. Until my father returns I am the Guardian of this tower and I am going to use everything he taught me to keep it safe. You have been gone a long time, Nicoli, yet I haven't questioned you once. So, Iyana is out, I have her contained and she isn't a threat to anyone just yet. So, I would be happy she came to you, and just to keep her that way, I am assigning you to keep an eye on her."

Nicoli clenched his jaw, but then let out a deep sigh, closing his eyes a moment as he ran his hand over his face. “I will do that.” He said quietly. “I...will Rowan be on the mission Iyana was called for?” He asked. He wasn’t questioning Kyle’s* motivations or reasons this time, he just wanted to know what kind of danger his daughter would be in. He knew she’d hate him if he tried to stop it, so he wouldn’t. But he could prepare her at least.
