Fantasy Two Worlds Collide

[Matreania]

Adam looked at her, "Lines." he said as he went under the bed and got a notepad, he went to a page and showed her a drawing of a monkey, "Like this?" he asked, "Junga is a little hard to focus on, but he stays still for Emery. Emery can only copy animals, kind of the same with his fighting." he chuckled, "They are the only ones that can deal with him other than me."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan was shocked, the drawing was incredible. "Wow..." She muttered, her fingers very lightly tracing the picture. She looked to Adam and smirked a little. "You know he makes so much more sense now." She teases, but it was half hearted. 

 

[Matreania]

Adam smirked at her, "Not really. He always made sense, you just have to know him." He grinned, "You'll see what I mean later, just don't mention it to him."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She smiled softly, she was starting to see that more and more. "I won't tell him. Not that I'll have the chance to. After breakfast this morning I doubt he wants anything to do with me. Not that he did before either." She says with a small smile. 

 

[Matreania]

Adam shrugged as he put the notebook back, "Emery will be fine, he is just on edge a lot and when things get out of hand, you'll see that he doesn't really hold that stuff against anyone." he said leading her out of the room, "if you want to get on Emery's good side and it is taking too long, you can always win over Lora. When he got her, she was like his mother and she has been with him a lot when he needs someone. Like I said, he is better with animals." he chuckled, closing the door behind her.

She looked to him curiously. She didn't know why she wanted to get on Emery's good side so badly in the first place, but his suggestion was helpful. She smiled some. "That wouldn't happen to be be lioness would it?" She asks, hopeful. Even if it had been a one time thing she'd loved that the lioness had been so gentle and lovable with her. 

 

[Matreania]

Adam nodded, "Lora is the only lioness that will interact with humans and not eat them." he teased, "Most of the lions are kept in lockdown when a human schedules a visit, but Emery doesn't really have to worry about that."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She smiled. "Well I like her. She was so gentle and soft when I saw her yesterday." She says with a grin. 

 

[Matreania]

Adam chuckled, "Yeah, she can be that way, but I wouldn't test her. She has a temper, especially if you mess with Emery. " he grinned, "He's her baby."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan giggled a little but then smiled. "I don't doubt it. That's awfully sweet." She says, meaning it. 

 

[Matreania]

Adam smirked as he led her down the stairs, "Yeah, well, you didn't almost lose a hand to her awfully sweet jaws of death." he chuckled. 

 

[FangAndOzy]

Rowan couldn't help giggling. "I'm sorry, that's not funny...but it is. Especially because you still have your hand." She says with a grin. 

 

[Matreania]

Adam grinned at her, "Not me." he said in his defense, "Lora wouldn't hurt me, I'm her favorite, besides Emery. I was talking about Hector." he chuckled, "Other than Emery, there has never been anyone to get into that place when the animals are free for hours and days."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She giggled some. "Well he appeared to have both hands." She says with a smile. She looked to him curiously. "You didn't send me there yesterday when it was a dangerous time did you?" She asks, though she was still smiling. She had been perfectly fine and she had loved going there. It was oddly calming. But she had an opportunity to give him a hard time, so she did. 

 

[Matreania]

Adam glanced at her with a grin, "Not exactly. Dangerous time is feeding time and it wasn't feeding time. Although, I was pretty sure if you needed to be rescued and Emery did it that you two might have better luck with the bonding thing."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She laughed some. "Well, it's too bad I hadn't seemed to be in any danger." She says with a grin. "But good try, perhaps next time it'll work." She suggests. 

 

[Matreania]

Adam shrugged, "I don't know, not even the lions want to deal with Lora when she decides she liked someone."

 

[FangAndOzy]

"Well I certainly hope then that she like me." She says with a smile. "But I don't suppose one meeting is much of a judge of that." She says. 

 

[Matreania]

Adam shrugged, "How should I know, I'm shadow." he chuckled, as he led her down the last flight of stairs, "I mean as long as Karrel doesn't try and eat you, you should be good."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She smirked a little but then looked to him. "Karrel?" She asks. "Another lion?"

 

[Matreania]

"Lion? No." Adam chuckled, "Karrel is a bear, a cub when we were kids and now Emery's bear-friend."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She laughed a little but then nodded in understanding. "Well hopefully he won't want to eat me if I ever get the privilege to go in there again. I certainly hope I do, that place was amazing." She says. And yet she doubted that would ever happen. 

 

[Matreania]

Adam smirked, "Karrel is a girl and she kind of has a crush on Emery, so she might eat you." he teased, then nodded, "It really is though? You should see it when the waterfall is bigger, it's amazing."

 

[FangAndOzy]

She couldn't stop herself drink laughing a little harder at that thought of that. At his next words though she smiled some and looked to him. "I would love to. Maybe once I establish myself and become useful I will be allowed in again." She says with a faint smile. 

 

[Matreania]

Adam smirked, "He kicked you out, huh?" he teased, "Don't worry, he isn't the boss, it's just dangerous to go when you are alone and when you aren't scheduled. If you want to go, I'll take you, you'll be safe with me." he winked at her.
