Fantasy Two Clans

"What is going on, good man?" Nana approached one of the men of the group of thugs. The poor boy seemed to be at his last moments. How unfortunate, so young and already enduring the harsh ways of the living...

"Hey, that's none of your business, punk! We're just teaching him a good lesson for life!" The taller man spoke in a furious and loud voice as he turned to her. "And who are you, covering your face like that! Are you his accomplice?!" He pointed his weapon at her in a quick movement, which Nana dodged and raised her hands immediately.

"Oh, easy, easy. Fear not, good man, I come here in peace..." She then locked her sea foam eyes with the young man's by surprise. Staring at him in silence, Nana was expressionless. Something in those eyes reminded her...of her past. And that smile, even though he was in pain. She shut her lips and smiled suddenly, turning back to the villager, joining her hands behind her back and taking the hood covering her features, resorting to her good charms.

"He is indeed one of my associates..." She then bowed. "I apologize for his lack of delicacy and the trouble he caused. Perhaps you would be so kind to release him in exchange for the payment of the goods. I believe he learned his lesson...and he will probably learn it soon again, when I get my hands on him." A glint of a shadow in her clear eyes was enough for making the thug gulp in fear. A ninja and a creepy one wasn't exactly his favorite choice of an opponent."So...would you please accept this?"

She handed him over a good amount of coins a sack that she had on waist. The thug's eyes widened in surprise as he stared at the golden metal in his hands now. "W-Wait there!" He told her and a few minutes later, she was supporting the dark haired male with his arm over her shoulders.

"Let's go...comrade." She whispered to him with a meanigful look, as if saying 'Go along with it if you want to live.' Walking cautiously in order to not tire him, Nana took him to inside the forest. "Ah~! How unfortunate indeed~! And to think I would be sleeping in a good bed right now...such a shame!" She shook her head in a fake dramatic voice as the two walked together.

Akira's shoulders relaxed slightly at Aeri's laughter. He didn't let go of his sheath though, just as a safety precaution. "I'm called Akira. I'm naught but a man looking for steady work and income."

He glanced away as he tapped the sheath of his wakizashi, indicating his profession. As a ronin, his place in society was low enough as it was, he didn't feel it prudent to be too open about it.

"I've heard tales that there's been some unpleasantries in this land," He remarked casually, meeting the kunoichi's eyes again.

Riku coughed a bit as he looked at the women who had carried him to the Forrest. Relieved to be able to rest now he relaxed his body and he slowly began to drag his feet with his vision becoming more and more blurry he slumps over leaving the kind women he didn't even know to carry the heavy boy.

"I'm sorry." He whispered before his body went limp as his breathing became a bit slower a few more hits and he either would have died or be thrown into a prison for murder.

"Oh don't mention it..rescuing cute boys is a guilty pleasure of my own." Nana turned to Riku as she walked with him, smiling sweetly at the stranger. "Don't fall asleep yet, boy, you still need to get those wounds treated. Tell little old me, what is your name?" Finally she reached a good spot and placed him on the soft grass gently. She scanned through her sack with her hands until she her hands found bandages and some medicine from home. "This might sting at first." She warned him before pressing her fingers covered with the substance in the small box in the wounds on his arms and legs. She might had to use bandages on his chest, judging from the stain on his clothes..

Riku chuckled as the girl spoke to him he cringed due to the pain he had he didn't have any broken bones just a few bad bruises. he was happy she was trying to make conversation otherwise the one into the forest would have been a very long one. When she sat him down he looked at her and smiles softly "Names Riku Ashitage." Turning his head he watched the girl as she dug through her bag.

"Aw, aren't you cute?" Nana smiled slightly at his attempt to keep himself awake, admist to his pain. "I'm Nana, Nana Onoe. You don't seem to have broken anything at least...does your chest hurt?" She asked softly as she finished applying the medicine on his upper and lower members. She leaned slightly against his face, in order to hear him more clearly.

"Naw not really...just hurts a bunch." He looked at her and sat up just enough to see her face. "My equ... Stuff it's still in the inn." He sort of frowned but found it hard to do so in the company of his savior. "Could you take me back when I'm well enough to walk." He hoped she would agree he also just didn't want to have to leave her she seemed pretty nice and was hopefully a ninja like him."

"Oh sure~! Since I've gone this far, might as well make sure you're safe." Nana smiled as she closed the small box of medicine and saving it on her sack. "Ah, but you have to promise little old me something..." She leaned towards his face once again, this time with a serious gaze. "Don't get too much with people like that anymore. You will only get hurt." She then took the hooded cape envolving her body and covered Riku in it. "This way will be less uncomfortable...rest a bit, I'll take you to the inn when you regain a bit of your strength."

Riku couldn't help but fall asleep partly from his fight and partly because he was tired.

A bit of time passed by with him tossing and turning trying to stop feeling as much pain while he slept a few hour passed, of the same thing until he finally woke up. He sat up a bit looking around for Nana. "Hey I'm up." He tried to stand and used a tree for balance as he stumbled a bit.

"Wow, take it easy." Nana immediately stood up and supported him by the shoulders. "You think you can walk on your own? You just woke up..." She patted him in the head lightly with a sweet smile on her lips, tilting her head.

Seeing the two, he spoke to them. "I assume you have a pretty valid reason for not showing up in the meeting, K and Aoi." He looked at the sky, trying to calculate the time.

Then, a ninja came up to him and gave him a piece of paper. "As you requested sir." "Thank you. You may leave." He said as he took the paper and begam scanning it. "Hmm. Aoi, I need to know about this ninja. You are now tasked to go behind enemy lines. If you are compromised, you know what to do. And as for you, K, meet me at the pond near the training area." He said as he handed Aoi the piece of paper and mouthing the words "Watch her." Rierre then started to walk past the two, heading towards a nearby restaurant.

On the paper that was given, certain details were contained - information and pictures of a girl named Kuriho, who was close to the elder and could be a valuable asset according the the thing written in it.

well, i tried

"Yeah just give me a bit." He shook his head starting to walk towards the village a bit later he stopped again and leaned on Nana "alright I'm sorry lets go." He held his arm around her for balance walking the rest of the way. Looking around he saw how big the forest was and squint trying to see where it ended.

Looking over at Nana he raised his brow "don't look like much of an old lady...how old are you?"

K knew the elder pretty well, considering he had been in the clan for a long time and I mean a long time. There was always a reason for his actions and more times than naught the actions would end in him getting what he wanted or at least a compromise. K was a little curious as to who Rierre had assigned to Aoi, it not being often that he assigns simple wait and see missions. The main jest of the assignment was most likely-in K's opinion-to gain an understanding of the given subject and possibly use whomever it is to our advantage, Rierre is quite good at that.

He replied to Rieree about where to meet him later, "Alright, I'll be there." He knew the spot all to well, it being a pristine spot to take in the scenery or train without much annoyance from passersby. K looked over at Aoi as Rierre made his way away from them, he gave him a thumbs up and started to walk away as well, "Good luck out there kid." There wasn't much for K to do at this time of day so he simply made his way to the pond ahead of time, it being quite busy in the compound at the moment.

He arrived at the pond at a snails pace, it not being time crunch worthy so he took his time. During the stroll he passed many people gearing up for the coming storm, which became obvious by how Rierre looked a bit ago. For lack of a better description, he had his 'Game' face on. When that happens it means it's time for K to have some bloody fun, and it has been o so long since he has had a good fight...petty criminals and political officials were getting old.

K chuckled to himself as he removed his Katana from the sheath, figuring on getting some practice drills in before it was time for Rierre to arrive. He simply stood there for a moment as if meditating, it seeming he was nothing but a statue up against the soft wind of the day. When a strong wind passed by he took a swift jump and sliced each leaf that had fell from the tree above in half, it seeming that his political assassinations haven't been detrimental to his swordsmanship. He closed his eyes once more and waited for another strong wind to come by, once again stone like in stillness.

Nana giggled to herself as she walked cautiously with Riku, closing her eyes in amusment. "There's no need for you to act tough, I won't judge...but I must admit you are quite the adorable fellow, Riku." She commented on the younger boy's clumsy attempt with honesty, not even a hint of teasing in her voice. Continuing to retrace their steps, Nana squinted her sea foam eye in oder to get a glimpse of the lights of the village.

Nana leaned against his face once again, this time with a pout dominating her features, almost pressing their noses together. It was safe to say this bold ninja did not know the concept of personal space... "How rude! At least remove the 'much of'!" She sighed but quickly bounced back to her cheerful expression. "I shouldn't tell you since a lady should never reveal her age...but what do I care for what others think. I'm 18 years old, actually? I assume you are younger, yes?"

Riku chuckled just for the sake of laughing when he saw Nana giggle he saw she was a little on edge so he just gave her a little bit of a bump to lighten the mood. Riku raised a brow in amusement as he saw listens to her "Who says I'm acting tough." He folded his arms in defiance.

Riku threw his hands up not really caring about the lack of space he just poked her nose in response to her anger "you know your not that old" he stuck out two fingers "just two years younger than me." He shrugged and looked at the opening of the village. "There lets go my clothes are there." Looking at her he bit his lip and wondered for a bit he couldn't just pull out a bunch of weapons while she was in his room in the small chance she was just another civilian."

Nana chuckled, covering her lips with her hand. "I'm not but still, a lady would get a offended with a comment like that!" When they finally reached their destination, she nodded lightly and continued walking in order to reach the inn. Merely by coincidence, she noticed Riku biting his lip. "....Is something troubling you?" She asked with a loving smile.

Riku shrugged as they walked into the inn slowly he looked around for the thugs just in case but seeing no one of great importance he continued walking. "I'm sorry to offend you I was actually trying to compliment you." He grins as he looks at her trying to make her smile. He listens to her question but quickly changes the subject putting on a fake bright smile before opening his door for her to enter.

Not focusing on anything in particular, Itou sat in silence at his table. He was inside a small restaurant, located within that territory of what outsiders called the 'Evil' clan, normally whispered under bated breath... lest one of the clan members themselves happened to overhear. But, that very village just happened to be a suitable resting spot for the moment, as long as he kept to himself. Itou's travels had taken a toll on him somewhat; it was time for him to settle down for a while. To his side, adjacent to a large pack rested a few rolled paper scrolls, neatly tied together, inked with vibrant depictions of people, nature, and various villages. It was his side craft, woodblock printing - he had been taught in the art since he was a young one. Just under the wooden table were tools of a more sinister nature; faintly gleaming upon their sharpened steel edges, a pair of polished kusarigama was within reach. His main profession.

A bustling waitress walked over to where he rested, placing a tray of tea and food before him. "Thank you," Itou quietly said, a slight lilt in his voice, before the corners of his lips twitched upwards in a semblance of a smile. As the waitress left, he took a few moments, looking around the building, afterwards taking a thoughtful sip from his cup. Perhaps he'd finally find some work. Mere crafting wouldn't last him too long.

The wind carried voices of sorts; one that she was familiar with and one of unknown origin. Kuriha stepped lightly, climbing atop a nearby roof and getting a side view of both Aeri and Akira. Unlike her kunoichi friend, Kuriha did things a bit differently when it came to confronting mysterious individuals looking for 'steady work.' She would test that statement. With her kunai, her eyes aimed intently on Akira's figure, the target had been his head. He seemed to still be engaged in conversation with Aeri, which was the perfect moment to test his abilities. If he was a true ronin, he would easily dodge or even catch the kunai. With a subtle motion, the kunai was sent hurling through the air and heading toward Akira.

A faint whistle caught in Akira's ear.

Almost faster than could be noticed, the wakizashi was in his hand, drawn in an upward slash that deflected the thrown blade into a nearby tree.

He sidestepped nearer to Aeri in a defensive stance in case another threat towards them appeared. He didn't stand too close to her however, for all he knew, she could be about to attack him as well.

"Ninjas..." he muttered low under his breathe glaring into the trees where the knife had been thrown.

Rierre got out of the restaurant as he finished his meal. "Now, onto Phase two." He thought to himself as he started to walk to the agreed spot - the pond near the training grounds.

Upon arriving there, he saw K standing still as if he was waiting for something. As the wind blew, dropping leaves from the tree, he saw K strike them all down into halves. Moving in closer, he said "I see you are still honing your skills, K. Are you not satisfied of mastering the Devil's Blade?" He said as he observed the ninja's stance.

Rierre sat down from an elevated plane, where he could all of the students training not far from them, and all those in their background. "This must succeed." He says to himself as he looked upon the view of what he will soon lead into Phase Two.

Hideyoshi began checking every villagers, nook & cranny if the villagers are unharmed. He was getting cautious in common and jumping to the roof to another. something wasn't right here and kept his eyes peeled from the above. Nothing caught his attention from wasting time on scouting, not until he sees a ninja in the park, which is not even in the Good clan, whatever he intends to go closer ahead is going to cost his life. He jumps down to the streets and walked in the park quietly, but tries to conceal his Katana in his coat while he holds the Wakizashi for parrying, hiding it in the coat.

So the man had introduced himself. She was about to introduce herself too when she felt a familiar presence near them. She immediately knew what was to happen. She decided to keep her mouth shut instead. As expected, a projectile was sent towards Akira. She stood in her place, knowing it was not going to hit her. Akira had moved closer to her when he dodged. She thought whether to follow Kuriha's steps but she eventually decided against it. He, at the moment, pose no threat to the village. If she engaged him, then maybe he will be.

"Aeri." she replied to his earlier introduction. "Yes, there had been trouble recently. I believe there's one now somewhere else." she told him. There really was. She knew the air of the village and she could feel it was somewhat disturbed.

The kunoichi hadn't flinched away from the action, Akira realized. Outwardly relaxed though he remained prepared for any more games his possible future employers might want to play.

"I take it that was a friend of yours?" He he jerked his head in the direction the kunai was thrown from.

"Well, Aeri. As per my humble and lowly career, I would be obliged to offer the services my blade can offer to yourself, your friend with a penchant for throwing sharp objects, and your clan."

Saying this, he formally sheathed his wakizashi and patted its hilt before bowing. He purposefully didn't mention the katana sealed with what looked like spell scrolls he had strapped to his back.

He walked slowly, but he has his Wakizashi ready to parry if danger comes in first. Hideyoshi became cautious, but feels insecure with no companions to help him. His thoughts were likely to think of any danger he would go in. "I felt like this place is quiet, but not too quiet. I better keep my guard up and try to eavesdrop than fighting." Not until he sees not one, but two ninjas at the quiet, far view. the one with the special kind of a Katana and another wore in black color of his clothes.

He watched them, but tries to avoid being seen, instead he would see and learn about out of them. He walks up to the tree and tries to climb quietly to get a better view. Hideyoshi looked carefully what were they doing and tries to learn, what is more likely important from the two ninjas.
