Fantasy Two Clans

Kito stopped walking and turned to face the woman behind him, she closed some of the distance between them. He paid no mind to her getting close, he could see that she wasn't rearing for any kind of fight. Kito placed his right hand on his stomach and rubbed it for a little bit and in response to the woman's question he nodded his head. He stared at her for a moment and then trend back around and continued walking. "Interesting... Truly." Kito thought to himself just before he began to shake his right hand in order to loosen it up. It became habit for him over the years to do that.

Silent type, huh? Nana giggled softly to herself, covering her lips with her fingers. The kind of people she would usually like to interact with. Nothing more satisfying to make a serious person react or make a silent person talk. Kito, as the latter and perhaps the fisrt as well, seemed to be a difficult case for her. Which made him even more interesting. And Nana more curious. Was he one of the good...or the bad? "Is that so...Well, thank you for the short duet, sir, it was nice to hear someone else's voice in this lonely forest." She spoke in a cheerful voice, a bright smile creeping under her hood. How unfortunate, leaving so soon...

Relief washed over Kuriha. It didn't seem like a fight would be breaking down anytime soon between the figures below. She couldn't say the same for others who could be accompanying the woods. Though she was glad she didn't have to intervene; it was her duty to protect innocent people who happen to wander the woods. If they were indeed lost and find their way back to her village, she wouldn't mind taking them in. The lost needed a place to call home, too. In a flash, Kuriha fled the scene and returned back to the village, where everything seemed as quiet as ever. The calm before the storm... or perhaps she was too tired to tell the difference.

Aeri was surprised by Kuri's sudden leaving. She thought for a moment that she didn't like her company. She waited for a while but she did not return. Finally, she decided to check things out but before she could even leave the roof, she saw Kuriha coming back from the distance. Aeri quickle went to her side.

"What happened there?" she asked. She saw the rabbit part but she had no idea why she left towards the forest. She looked back but there seems to be no one following Kuri.

Kuriha walked toward the village well, she wanted to clean off the blood stained kunai. She was not proud of what she did to an innocent creature of the forest. Hearing Aeri, Kuriha replied in a simple tone, as if she'd merely been on a leisurely stroll. "No threats to report. However, I believe there were two others with me. They didn't... appear hostile, at the time." Kuriha wasn't sure. She had been wrong before about suspicious people she'd met in the woods. After cleaning off her kunai meticulously, she walked toward Aeri and wondered if any of her other comrades were awake at the time. It was best to inform everyone of even the smallest details that occurred.

Kito suddenly stopped walking and turned his attention to the top a tree where he had felt a presence vanish. He stared into the surrounding woods for a second and realized the woman behind him was still there. He then shifted his gaze her and saw, under the hood, a smile. He looked at her and a small smile appeared on his face. the smile was hidden behind the mask but it was definitely there. He bowed his head once more but this time he decided to say something before walking away this time. "Farewell." The only thing that came to his mind to say and so he did. He then turned back around and began walking away, once more. He shot the tree, he felt the presence at earlier, another glance before shaking his head trying to get the thought out of his mind.

"Goodbye..." She softly spoke as she bowed lightly in return. When he left, she, at last, grabbed the hem of the hood, letting it fall down to her shoulders and revealing her pair of green foam eye and bandages, along with her long green ponytail. She chuckled to herself as she joined her hands on her back, bouncing in a childish way. "Pretty handsome as well. How unfortunate indeed~!" She chirped to herself with a sigh. Now she was all alone again, as she could not sense anyone else's presence nearby. Maybe she should take a nap...running away from masterless samurai for hours wasn't exactly a piece of cake.

"Are you sure?" she asked again, looking back towards the forest. If there was something she learned in being in this clan, it was to trust your allies. "Alright then." she added. "I'll be surveying the village then." she finished before leaving. She jumped silently from roof to roof, scanning the place for trouble but it seems almost everyone was sound asleep. She stopped on a tree, unmistakable long black hair taking her attention. It was Hideyoshi, drinking sake as usual. She jumped from the tree, landing a few feet from him.

"Don't you think you're drinking too much, Hideyoshi?"

@Darkneji

Hideyoshi later sees a female ninja, talking to him. He gets himself up and ask. "What are you doing here, came here to check on me or watch me drink this sake here?" He sighed as there a task for him or either something she can come up with. "What other choices do I have to make, I got to talk to her or drink the sake?" His mind yet came in talking, if someone wants him in, whatever the activity. He gets off the chair, regain his senses and talked to her. "Now, tell me, I would rather know, whatever the activity you're doing." He said.

"No need to be like that." she replied sticking her tongue out. "I was simply scouting the area and I saw you here. Is it wrong to talk to you?" she asked back. Maybe she ruined a moment but she simply just wanted to talk to him. She sat beside the place where he previously sat and poured some of his sake into a small bowl, without his permission. She looked back up the stars.

Hideyoshi was getting his Katana, stored inside the cabinet, if he ever have to use it for self defense, but not necessary to make someone leave by threatening. Instead he sat next to her and grabbed the small bowl to pour in some sake. He asked something his life & the clan. "Anyway, Aeri I ask you that I am here to avenge my mother, which she was a member of the clan before and I always think to find revenge for whoever killed my mother." He began to drink it, slowly and finishing the last drop of the alcohol. "I may know that whatever you scouting is somewhat unusual, I rather join in your little scouting party." He gets his Wakizashi from the floor and gets ready for another activity.

((Woah slow down will you guys? I just got on and there were so many posts @-@ Can someone please tell me whats going on?)

Aoi returned back to the clan and notices people walk out of the meeting tent. Great, I just missed some good info.. Deciding to get back on track, he looks for one of the members in the clan that can tell him what it was about. Not long after, he spots K down a path and Master Rierre. He reaches the first person that came in contact with him and that was K.

"Will you tell me about the meeting?" he asks the older man with no emotions showing. Being one of the youngest ninja in the clan has its uses but they also have their disadvantages. They were looked down upon. Aoi was used to that though. He has been put down by many his whole life. That's why he became expressionless. No feelings mean no pain.

The boy waits for a reply from his fellow member in front of him. Or a blow to the head. Whichever comes first, he was ready for it.

K was a bit out of it for the moment but eventually noticed Rierre motioning for him, to which he made his way over. It seemed that the rest of the ninjas were preparing for some sort of mission, t appearing to be quite a few of them mustering. Knowing Rierre it was going to be a blood bath if nothing else, which K-despite his clown exterior out of combat-thoroughly enjoys. He stopped in front of Rierre and cocked his head to the side, saying in a inquisitive tone, "So it looks like you came up with something."

However just as K had made that statement one other member of the clan approached, if K remembered right this ninja was relatively young...maybe in his late teens. He heard his question but paused as he tried to remember the guys name, K tapping the tip of his own chin in thought. He snapped out of it a few moments later and announced with a goofy grin, "Oh right Aoi if I am not mistaken." K stretches and lets out a light sigh as he stated, "I think Rierre was about to fill me in...don't worry I spaced about the meeting too."

If any of the older members of the clan didn't know any better they would just pass K off as an utter fool and useless lout, but they did know better. Many new initiates have made the mistake in choosing him to spar with and well they always end up in the infirmary for a couple weeks, him never even getting a grain of dirt on his clothing in his sparing matches with the hotheaded. It is quite odd how such a powerful swordsman is in such a blissfully clownish individual.

Finding Aeri and Hideyoshi was as easy as following the stench of alcohol. Which was exactly what she did. She looked between the two, shooting Hideyoshi an incredulous look. The empty bowl of sake had worried her, a drunken ninja was not a ninja at all, though his senses didn't see completely gone. At least he wasn't passed out on the floor and babbling to himself. "I hope all that drinking has given you some thought regarding this upcoming war, Hideyoshi." Kuriha stated sternly, looking back at Aeri. "I don't know about you, but, I can't stand sitting around and waiting. If there is a way to stop this war without bloodshed, then I will find it. I'm sure that's what the elder wants as well..." Kuriha frowned, she'd always relied on the elder's wisdom, and she had to admit, she felt lost with the current situation. But it was never enough to discourage her.

She could hear them. Voices far ahead. Women and men. "It's not a lonely forest anymore." Who would disrupt the natural cycle of that place? Nana put her hood once again and walked, almost bouncing, to where her instincts told her. Sooner or later, she could hear them much closely. Her hands then touched the body of a tree nearby and swiftly climbed it until she reached one of the top branches. Finding a secure position, she once again unwrapped the bandage around her golden eye and serached through the leaves for her targets. As she though, men and women. She examined their posture, their voices...yes, they were definitly from the Good clans. How fascinating to see such a group reunited in one place before her.

Unlike many, Nana did not choose a side, she never did. She was merely on her own side and only hers. She had her own objectives. But perhaps...listening wouldn't be a bad idea.
"Tell me your story, brave warriors of the good..." She whispered as she found a more comfortable position on the branch.

Hideyoshi gives a grim look about the situation here, if some kind of "bloodshed" was coming in close. "I may know this is getting worse at hand, warn the clan elder about the problem here, I am moving the villagers out of this bloodshed." He walks closer to the two female ninjas, but the alcohol doesn't slow him down one bit. He told Aeri to get a hold on of the situation and he would get every villager to safety. "Aeri, Go check on the villagers if their unharmed and then, get them to safety. I am going to check the villagers if they're OK." He said with a serious look. Hideyoshi jumped to the tree branch and to the roof, leaving them the other two to split up.

Not far from the tree Nana had just scaled, the ronin samurai Akira was almost ready to set himself down for the night. These woods were much too active tonight for his comfort though.

He had heard tales from all over the land of two rival ninja clans in this area and the strife between them. Honestly it seemed like the perfect opportunity for a bit of employment. He didn't care much for ninjas but he figured if this rivalry was half as strong as the stories say, they'd be too busy actually at each other's throats to stab him in the back.

Akira was weary, foot-sore, and hungry but he felt uneasy with all the activity tonight. He glared up into the tree. He had sworn he saw a figure ascending it gracefully not a moment before.

"This is going to be an interesting night..." He muttered to himself.

"Alright alright. I just had one bowl. Don't worry." she told Kuriha before disappearing in a flash. She decided to look around the forest instead, since there will probably be enough looking around the village. Anyways, she is much better traversing in the forest than in roofs. Just before she could go any further, she felt the presence of someone and she immediately made a hard turn, choosing to take the person head-on. It would be better to deal with the possible trouble immediately but still, she had to b cautious. She stopped in front of the person, a male with the scar on his face as his most prominent feature. She decided to stay silent as she made eye contact with him.

"Aren't they a sweet bunch?" She made a carefree to herself as she bounced her legs in the branch. That was good enough for today. Maybe she could exchange some information on other criminal ninjas with the Evil Clan. It was good opportunity for her. Then again, that pan would perhaps backfire on her. Or perhaps they wouldn't believe her. She snorted quietly, it was difficult being neutral. Maybe she should just rest for today and leave her schemes for tomorrow. She could sleep in the forest but there was a village ahead, according to them. The temptation of a soft bed was far more appealing than a cold branch. She stood up and jumped nimbly from branch to branch until she saw lights ahead. Oh, people were still awake? "Oh my, my, a commotion ahead." She cocked her head childishly and closed the distance between herself and the group of villagers. Were they surrounding someone?

Akira made no move other than gripping the sheath of his wakizashi when Aeri stepped out in front of him. His sword hand remained at his side.

The samurai was more or less prepared for these sorts of appearances but inside he was tense and ready to spring if needed.

"Greetings," He said, bowing his head stiffly," maintaining the eye contact. "I take it these are the forests of your clan?"

He was going to test the waters for a bit. He had no real idea of what sort of person was standing before him so he wasn't just going to jump straight to business. Akira had had mixed experiences with ninja. At least the one had just confronted him was a kunoichi. They're usually more interesting to deal with.

Unless they're trying to knife you in the liver... He thought to himself, recalling a spot on his abdomen that was still tender.

Riku laughed as he spit out blood that seemed to keep flowing from his lip, he shrugged off the pulsing pain in his head from hits with blunt weapons his vision was blurry but he was able to still stand. He spit on the ground once again as he raised his fist to start fighting finally after all the hits landed on him he had enough and was ready to defend himself. Sadly he was in no condition to to either run or fight. Hopefully someone will come in and help him otherwise his time as a ninja would be over...

It seemed he was ready for her sudden appearance. He appeared to be acting naturally but she could see that he was ready to pounce at his prey anytime. Best be careful.

"I'd be honest, I personally think we do not own these forest area. We simply own the village. This trees are mother nature's own." she said with a serious face, then she began to chuckle a bit, finding what she said partially funny. It was true what she said though. She was honest, but no many people shared her opinion. "Now may I ask, why are you here in this part of the forest?" He was dangerously close to the village and Kuriha wouldn't like that.

"You failed and you still owe us.." The thug laughed as he held out the weapon he had in hand at Riku. "I'm sick of following you around waiting for payment," He grins "i might just kill you and take whatever you have on you."

Riku sighed he really didn't want to waste time fighting these thugs but he would die if he didn't. He looked at the fence behind him wondering if he could climb over it or even use the planks as a weapon as his daggers were all in his inn.
