Fantasy Two Clans

Minutes passed but it seemed like forever since he regained consciousness. Aoi sat up groggily, rubbing the back of his neck. It seared with pain from the hard fall. He shakily stood up with the help of a tree trunk. Aoi was lucky not to have a broken bone but he was weakened from the fall. Yet, this feeling of someone watching him overpowered the pain. "I know you're there," he calmly says. He was sure it was a girl proven she could hide herself well.

@Aeri Rosevier

Aeri smirked when he called out to her. He easily managed to sense her presence after waking up. He must be a skilled person and she found herself feeling a little tension. She jumped from the branch and landed skillfully yet gracefully on the ground. She kept a safe distance between them.

"So... Why are you sleeping here?" she teased him, but she already had the general idea of how he got into this situation in the first place. She studied him, trying to size him up. He seemed young, probably about her age. He had spears as his weapon, considering they were in plain view right now. If they were to fight, she would be at a disadvantage when it comes to range. She's more than capable in this terrain though.

Aoi shot her a death look. "Mind your business, girl. Question is, what are you doing out here?" he asks. "Little girls shouldn't be out by themselves. You don't know what might happen." A smirk played its way to his lips. He gripped his spear tightly as if it was the only thing that could protect him now. Aoi knew he was still too weak to fight. That fall made a huge impact to his back, although he isn't sure if a bone was broken. He assumed they were fine. Aoi studies the girl. She looks to be around his age, maybe older in skill and age with light hazel brown hair. He tries again to stand straight but his body couldn't take it anymore. The boy fell to the ground. His vision begins to blur and he was once again swallowed into pitch, black darkness. This time, it showed the place he grew up in.

A couple boys older than him walked down the streets. The leader of the group ordered a search for Aoi and they eventually found him, cowering in a corner of an alleyway. He knew they were only treating him like this because of the rare colour of his hair. He was said to be a "cursed boy", bringing misery and bad luck to those intact with him. Rumours say if you want luck, you must kill him for witchery. And guess who wanted that? The village children.

Aoi was cornered against the wall. They beat him to the pulp. Called him names. One burnt him, but all he could think of was to see Lily again. His beloved sister. He could only think of death. To be with her again. Then, a wave of warmth washed over him. A man had sawn what was happening and came to Aoi's aid. Then, all was quiet.

Aeri found herself taking a step back as he threatened her. He was obviously not in a good mood. He wasn't from her clan as well, which leaves her to assume he worked alone, or he was from the other clan. She takes a hold of her own weapons when he touched his spear but instead of attacking, he had fallen to the ground again, unconscious. She raised an eyebrow at the display. He didn't seem to be in the condition to fight, and so she would not fight him. She cautiously walked towards him, seeing if he really was unconscious. She poke him lightly before quickly moving several feet back. Seeing as nothing happened, she went near him again. She shouldn't be doing this in the first place, since he had threatened her earlier and she knew he would not hesitate to kill her now. But she still did it, leaving a small pack of herbs that would soothe pain for a moment, before she went back up to the safety of the tree. Anyway, she could hae a chance of fighting him and gauging his skills if and only if he get better.

Kuriha noted Huro's ability to restrain himself. It seemed like he wasn't the type to indiscriminately cut any man down without good reason; though she had been wrong before. The night was nearly at an end, and the tired kunoichi bowed at the two men before her. "If you'll excuse me... I've got some pressing matters to attend to." Kuriha disappeared down the roof and into a fairly small building she liked to call home. A single candle illuminated the room on the table, where a letter stood out devoid of any writing. She sat in contemplation, resting her elbows on the table and clasping her hands against her forehead. Her eyes began to close as she thought about if sending out a letter would have any effect at all in bringing peace to her clan.

Aaaaaaand, there she went.

Along with any reason to remain here on this roof.

Akira watched the kunoichi's departure with an unreadable expression. He remained there for some moments afterwards, thinking, the same expression resting on his face.

The attitude of this man named Huro had irked him, and the fight that almost happened doubly so. He glanced at the towering swordsman.

Akira realized if they were to be working together, they'd have to be at least on somewhat decent terms.

"From where do you hail, Huro was it?"

Huron watched the Kunoichi depart swiftly, wondering if that was supposed to mean if he was accepted or not. He shrugged, and was about to head back down into the village to find a tavern when the Ronan spoke. Huro turned, around, looking at him. "I was from the castle of Yoko Vatsu.'' he said simply, not seeming very much like a talker, as he simply dropped from the roof, landing on his feet with a thud, before heading off into the village. He strolled into a tavern, asking the barkeep for a room, "Sure, third on the right. Here's your key, and you pay in the morning.'' the barkeep said, before Huron headed up the stairs, opening his door with they key he had been given. He locked the door behind him, before heading inside, taking off his armor, and lying his no-Dachi beside him, as he crawled onto his bed and fell asleep.

Aoi awoken once again feeling better than when he had fallen. Moving his hands, he felt a pile of herbs. Probably from the girl, but why did she give them to him? They didn't look poisonous and weren't. He knew these were healing plants. Well, no use sitting here won't doing anything with them. He stood up and rubbed them where the pain ached and bandaged it up, feeling almost completely cured, hardly taking notice of the same girl in the tree.

He had almost forgot the mission he was sent on after coming to the village. Aoi knew he should get back within two more days of search. The leader didn't like waiting.

Walking into the village, he looked liked a poor beggar from the streets. Ripped clothes, torn shoes, messy hair. Yep. Definitely a hobo. The villagers turned to look in his direction, sneering. Some backed away. He sighed. It was like in the past. However, he wouldn't let that get to his head. He must find the girl again.

Kuriha woke with a start when one of her dreams ended quite abruptly. It was the same dream where she was younger, holding someone's hand. For some reason she'd gotten the sense it wasn't her parents at all, but someone completely different.

Her eyes, swept with sleep, scanned the room illuminated by the candle, everything seemed as it was before. The letter before her was still blank, as was her mind. She peered toward the window and caught a glimpse of the moon, being reminded of a distant dream from long ago. The sleep had cleared her mind only a bit, and by some unknown force from the moon, she began writing the letter.

Akira muttered something to himself now that he was left to his thoughts on the rooftop. He stared down at the people still wandering about. Though he was ready to bed down for the night in the forest, a new city was a good enough reason to walk about and explore. Losing one or two night's sleep was nothing new to him.

This idea lifted his spirits mildly. He raised his eyebrows and scratched his side as he glanced around. Deciding on where he'd start, he hopped down and began his night in his new, if not possibly temporary home.

When Yoshiki finished eating his meal in a fast way, He didn't try to savor the food, but rushes it like a wild boar. He leaves an amount of money on the table and goes back to the entrance, picking up his weapons on the table where he placed nearby entrance door. He puts back his disguise and carry the weapons on the back, while he has the Wakizashi on his waist in case of self-defense. He walked out the restaurant and pulled out his map again to know where is the next location would be going. Then suddenly, A strong wing flew the map off his hands, ascending into the air to the night sky "I hate this when it happens, I got to get the map fast before it flies off." Yoshiki started to climb up the building, but his weapons is slowing him down, he tried to move faster to catch the map.
