1946- after the fall of the atomic bombs in japan altered human genes are detected as far away as london england. the united states is one of the only nations to gather a record of this and research into altered genes with radiation begins.
1952- during the korean war a us marine confirmed to have an altered genome from the bombs falling lifts a tank off of a fellow comrades legs saving his life before being killed two days later by a sniper. the U.S begins looking into the possibility of using radiation to make super soldiers.
1965- radiation trails on animals have yielded no results however, exposing a tardigrade to gamma radiation produces an unknown serum called TE-01. exposure of the chemical was tested on chimpanzees and produced stellar results with one being able to tear a wild boar clean in half with its bare hands.
1969- The first batch of human trials begins as candidates are selected from death row all over the world. designated the Titan series 36 candidates are given the TE-01 chemical solution and then exposed to large doses of gamma radiation. 33 candidates die a horrible death while 3 of them seem to open psychic portals that consume their consciousnesses leaving behind 3 still living but catatonic bodies. attempts to destroy the bodies all fail and the three are transported to a bunker built within Mount Saint Helens.
1973- though a failure the titan series exposed many threats with the process. a new serum is made called TE-02, and 300 candidates are selected from the united states marines. of the 300 only 36 were deemed successes, 182 candidates bodies gave out and they perished, while 82 were driven insane and physically enhanced requiring lethal force to put them down lest they become a threat to the world. note suggest that those driven insane were less mentally gifted than the successes, while the ones whose bodies gave out were not quite the successes physical equal prior to the process. minimum survival parameters are set and no further failures occur.
1976- the centurions are deployed for the first time in history. and successfully destroy the soviet union in eight months in a way they cannot retaliate. the world begins to offer vast amounts of money for using these super soldiers, but the U.S gives them only to allies while attacking any facilities that can produce them in other countries.
1980- the three bodies of the titan series survivors awaken and morph into massive kaiju destorying the mount saint helens facility along with most of the mountain itself. a small military campaign is launched against them and while successful, the titans managed to rampage across 30 miles of landscape, claim the lives of over 4300 military personnel among them being 27 of the original centurion series. their rampage was ended via four consecutive nuclear strikes, though incapacitated the titans survive and are transferred to a top secret underground facility in the Mojave dessert. the entire event is covered up as a powerful volcanic eruption however conspiracy theories persist few of which are accurate.
1981- the U.N begins the U.N centurion initiative aiming to produce 20 thousand centurions in the next 20 years. the news receives mixed responses as many begin to worry about the possibility of a police state forming with others worrying about some rouge cells gaining access to that information.
1993- a terrorist cell called Delta makes their appearance on the global stage when 7 heavily armed extremist centurions commit a massacre in New York claiming the lives of 1463 innocents before the national guard is able to respond with their own centurions. all seven extremists are killed, and all investigations into the organization only yields traps and lost lives.
2001- Delta returns this time with 5000 Centurions and advanced energy weapons never before seen. they conquer Brazil in a single day and immediately halt all traffic and data flow in and out of the nation. A strange interference field prevents any cameras or satellites from catching images into the city and any attempt to launch a raid or invasion in by the united nations fails and after catastrophic losses to the worlds military's Brazil is declared total loss. several billionaires gather in secret to begin work on a new series of superhuman known as the elemental series.
2006- the titan series shows a slight sign of brainwaves. The worlds greatest centurion unit manages to return from Brazil with only two of the 12 members of the team getting out alive with a sample of new serum being produced by the Delta Brazilian Government (now referred to as DBG). they also report Brazil seems to be industrializing at an alarming rate.
2012- the TE-02 serum is mixed with the mysterious element from the DBG creating the TE-03 which is given to the genetically, physically, and mentally honed children of the elemental series. when exposed to gamma radiation all of the childrens cells mutate with all of them falling comatose. while the results are initially unknown a biological scan reveals that each child has enough bio-energy in their cells that if converted into explosive power it would rival a hundred megaton bomb...
2021- the elementals awaken from their coma, and though they seem to have no health issues they must work to grow accustomed to their new bodies which have aged nine years and become incredibly powerful matching well trained centurions even with the atrophied muscles from the coma. their additional abilities begin manifesting and when they begin training with them the world is rocked by the DBG's latest attack where twelve cities were taken by massive armies of centurions who seemed to just appear inside the cities without warning,each lead by a tremendously powerful experimental meta-human series called the Olympians who may actually rival the Elementals. as with brazil the twelve cities were locked in a deadzone with all travel being cut to them. rather than launch any invasions the armies of the world surround the cities and the elementals are given a deadline for their first deployment
Present day- Three months after the DBG launched their assault on the 12 cities, the elementals are ready to deploy alongside the U.N. Centurion 14th Airborne squadron. together they will be tasked with assassinating the 12 Experimental metahumans of the DBG and destroying any dangerous defense assets the enemy may have in preparation for the surrounding armies to invade and retake the cities. the lives of a quarter billion hang in the balance.
