Slappy McHuge Slappy McHuge He could smell a demon. Disgusting smell of pain and anguish. Why was a demon in here. He dropped off the book to the kid took his cig and flask put them in his jacket. The he pulled out a throwing knife he got before he left Russia. Then he went on top of a shelf using his mist power and climbed up on a shelf. He wasn't noticed and look down on them like the Cheshire Cat with a wide grin on his face. He saw someone else eavesdropping so he felt justified. He then flicked his cig to get the demons attention. "Comrade you need a shower I could smell you all the way over there."

Maria Guadalupe-Valdez & Alexander Bell
The fight had effectively drained Maria. The sudden adrenaline dump followed by the suppression of the hormone had led to an increased lethargy. She had managed to make it to her dorm room before collapsing into something akin to an induced coma, falling into a dreamless sleep. When she woke hours later, it took about an hour before she was able to will her limbs to move and her eyes to stay open.

The alarm clock on her side table was blurred, but it was early afternoon. She rubbed at her eyes and pushed herself up, her hair a curly mess falling about her shoulders. She pushed it out of her face and blinked up at her dimly lit room, the sun a pale trickle of light sneaking in through the gaps in the blinds. She yawned deep and long, stretching out her back as she did so. She supposed she should get back to her class schedule. Or not. At this point, she might as well take the rest of the day off. Maybe Professor Bell could vouch for her.

Maria freshened up and headed back out, glancing at her watch and noting that lunch break would be over and everyone would be in class. The halls were silent as she moved through them, her slip-on canvas shoes making a light shuffling sound that echoed off the stone walls as she walked. She was staring down at the marbled floor when she ran into a human wall that had suddenly appeared in front of her. Maria gasped and jumped backwards, looking up.

Professor Bell stared down at her. His narrow shoulders were slumped and he looked tired, but his bright eyes were alight with curiosity.

“Uh, sorry Professor, I was, uh...I was just...well, you see, I kinda slept in I guess, and I’m just not feeling all that well, so I was gonna find somewhere quiet to wait out this...whatever it is I have.”

Alex stared down at Maria, and the silence between them verged on uncomfortable.

“So...” Maria’s eyes flickered to the right in her discomfort.

“Your secret’s safe with me,” Alex finally agreed. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, we have an intruder.” Bell slipped past Maria and headed down the hall and to the left. She watched him leave, the surprise that had taken over her breaking and making way for a slight fluttering of her heart. How she admired his consistent state of nonchalance. Nothing seemed to phase him, he was always just as cool and collected as ever. After he disappeared from her sight, Maria turned on her heel and took off.

Alex made his way through the halls, stopping every once in a while to sniff at the air. He was getting closer. The scent eventually brought him to the library, and he stared at the door with narrowed eyes before pushing through. He scanned the area from the door, and then went left. He passed through one row of shelves after another, making his slow way through the library’s inventory. The scent was growing stronger, and he could feel the aura, weak though it was, growing as he moved closer.

Bell turned a corner and there it was. A small, unfamiliar demon. Lower class, he figured. Not of consequence in most regards, however this one was communing with one of his students. Interesting. Bell held back, his curiosity getting the best of him, and decided to wait to see what this child considered worth trading away her soul.

I am already dealing with The Demon King I don't want to deal with another one." He flipped around his knife then gave a deep stare at the demon."While I did jobs for the Russian government I did more than spying. So I would have no problems killing you."

Shinku's POV
Location : School Library
Featured : Slappy McHuge Slappy McHuge , Dr.Wankpants Dr.Wankpants

Shinku was slightly shocked when she saw another student calling Eva out. She forgot that some people also have abilities to sense or smell a demon. The student that called Eva out continued yelling at her loudly, causing a few students to turn and stare. Shinku saw Professor Bell and the older girl from the fight with the Rat Rebel approaching just a few metres away. Shinku could only watch as the drama continued.

Lily watched the two make sort of a deal, but she didn’t say anything. She probably could have made a human, or any kind of living being really, but it would have taken awhile. To make one, you needed to map their veins and internal organs, one mistake, and your person would come out dead, or gushing blood everywhere. It was something Lily had been told to never try, so she hadn’t. As she watched Arlo leave, she looked back at Shub. “That was nice of you,” she said, smiling. The once dead silent library was now littered with voices, not enough that it distracted Lily, but enough for her to know that either a lot of people were on break or done with class. It was incredible how she could turn a blind eye to something so big.

Shub just smiled. "Well, what can I say? It's been awhile." She said, not mentioning the fact she doesn't get any out time like the other spirits. To her right now, is like being let out of the cage after being trapped in it with others for a really long time.

narcissisticnugget narcissisticnugget Without warning the area around Lily would freeze in place. All demons, humans and magical being alike would halt in place. They would be unable to reacte or even to understand what was happening. From a shimmering portal which appeared before the girl it would glide over and completely envelope Lily. Once she was completely through the girl would find herself with an office of a older gentleman. Lance sat on the desk with a shocked expression.

With the portal successfully bringing Lily and no one else, The older gentleman would sit down in his chair and motion for he girl to come closer. It was readily apparent that despite the simplicity of this room it was far larger than it appeared. If looking out of the window there would be nothing to see. It was as if the space was completely cut off from the school yet part of it at the same time. "Hello Maiden." The old man said with a smile. "Forgive the intrusion but we have need for you." After she was brought to this space, the regular flow of time returned to the library.

Lily paused for a moment, before remembering that Shub came from the black book. She nodded, looking down at the book again. “I’m going to go check this out real quick,” she said, pushing herself over to the counter and placing the book on top of it. She was trying to get the attention of Virgil, but everything seemed frozen.
She was frantically trying to figure out what had happened when she was suddenly moved to another room. She was visibly shaken. Trying to get a grip on her surroundings, she looked around. Lance was there, along with another man. Her mind filled with questions, making her unable to think straight. “What?” Lily sounded like she was choking, having to even out her breathing before she could even move a little bit.

Virgil saw Lily and noticed she was carrying a book. Looks like she wants to check it out. But then he noticed her sudden panic attacks. Virgil went over and tapped her forehead with two of his fingers. He looked concerned. "Lillian, are you okay? Did Shub do anything to you?" Virgil questioned as he was trying to figure out what was going on inside her head.

Alexander Bell
Alexander Bell was about to interject when a wave washed over the room. It was as if time itself had stopped. Maybe it had. The Witch frowned, glancing behind him, eyes scanning for any sign of what had happened. A second intrusion. The blanket he had placed over the school was being shuffled around and Alex did not like it. First this demon, and now...whatever that was. He would have to look into it, soon as he was finished dealing with the scene before him.

“Honestly, it’s never a good idea to interrupt such negotiations. Distractions of your kind can lead to mistakes.” Alex stepped forward, giving the student with the cigaret—V something? Alex could hardly care less to remember his name—a pointed look. If the kid knew what was best for him, he would leave Eva and her demon alone. Alex turned his eyes on Eva.

“You may proceed,” he encouraged. “Though I’d recommend everyone else clear out and leave you to do your work in peace. Wouldn’t want a curious, wandering eye to be the cause of a devastating slip-up.”

When Virgil saw Lily disappear, he was a bit surprised and now had to figure out what happened to her. He hoped she was going to be okay, but if there was some rumor he'd hear about where she had headed, he'd probably move out right away. He scratched his head out of annoyance. This was going to be a pain in the ass to explain to the headmaster that one of the students went missing. But at the same time, what would it do? She wasn't Danger Class or anything, and the headmaster liked to see students as nothing other than tool and stock to boost his reputation to continue on with his motives and intents. Shub walked over to Virgil and had a worried look on her face. She already knew Lily had disappeared as she was no longer sensing her presence and Virgil looked annoyed. She then started to look around the library in search of Arlo to tell him what had happened...

"I typically don't approach students or staff unless it's absolutely necessary. So with that being said, ask any questions you wish before I begin my reason for bringing you here."

((I made a new character. I wanted to bring her into the RP, just wanted to tell you guys first.))

Lily was still at a loss for words. She looked over at Lance, before looking back at the headmaster. "Why are we here?" she asked in an almost desperate voice. She was starting to put herself back together, but she was still enveloped in shock.

((A gentle reminder to the both of you, a Master isn't a Headmaster. Also, can you send me your plans for this Master?))

narcissisticnugget narcissisticnugget "That is why I brought you here. You see," he stood and looked out into the darkness beyond the windows, "you both are following a path that I myself have seen before." He rapt his finger on the windowsill. "The legend of the Maiden, a gentle hearted soul, wise beyond her years. As the story goes: A man, injured and knocked unconscious, was laying across the road to the city. Any attempt to bypass this man whether on foot or by wagon was meet with an abrupt bolt of lightning. The electricity never struck the individuals but it was always enough to scare everyone to choose alternate route from the man."

Lance raised his eyebrows, "The people didn't approach him?" He asked a bit unbelieving. "Were they that scared of him?"

Master Ace nodded, "Indeed, but a local girl was not like the others. She didn't avoid him, but instead walked to him with confidence. The closer she stepped the more electricity struck down but the girl was unfazed. Once she met the knocked out man, she sat beside him for a time."

Lily listened to the story. Not having to do or say anything kind of calmed her down. She was still nervous, that was obvious through the anxious twitching of her fingers when she grasped the notebook. As the man went on, she only seemed to get more confused. She tried to picture what the man was saying in her mind, a young lady and a struck down man. Her lack of creativity kept her from going too far, and instead, she just saw siloettes in her mind. When the man paused, she tilted her head, did he bring her here just to hear that story? What was the point of that? Was it going to continue? Lily bit her lip.

narcissisticnugget narcissisticnugget Master Ace continued "When the young Maiden finally reached the man, she took him to her home to heal his wounds. The next day, the man left from her home and revealed to her that he was in fact was a Dragon." He turned to face them both. "The man transformed before her eyes and decided to tell her something. Because she showed an act of kindness to him, he would spare the city. As a sign of this pact he made with her, he gave her a sword. He told her that if she ever needed his protection to simply touch the sword and he would come to her aid."

Lances eyes widened, "No way..." He shook his head, "that can't be real right? Dragons died off centuries ago right. They can't be the same right?"

"It seems you don't quite understand Lancelot." He points at the students chest, "by your very nature your family is the closest to dragons. Being part Dragon never crossed your mind? Why do you think the sword blessed you?" Lance moved away with his eyes wide open. "What's more, the situation between the dragon and the maiden are similar between you.

"Huh?" Lance was confused. How were they similar? None of this made any sense.

"Your power runs rampant and you cannot control it. Because of that, the only way is with the help of the maiden." He pointed to Lily, "I spent a lot of time researching your families and I know you are the current Maiden. To prove this, please grab a hold of his arm. Lancelot, when she has, remove your headphones."

Lance raised an eyebrow, "you're are crazy. My powers will kill her. If you are wrong, I wouldn't be able to live with myself." He shrank away, his head lowered hiding his face, "Just stay away, okay Lily? I don't want to hurt you. I cannot control my powers with this thing." He tapped his headphones. The last person who he hurt with his unreleased powers were still fresh in his mind. His sister had to be hospitalized for a month after his last incident.

Lily opened her mouth to say something along the lines of. “It’s just a story,” about halfway through, when Lance interrupted the first time. The man continued, and she shut her mouth. How the man knew all this kind of freaked her out, it was only adding to her paranoia from being suddenly pulled here.
While Lance could actually protest, Lily was still at a loss for words. It was hard to even try to comprehend everything that he had said. It was simple to think of it as a child’s bedtime story. Lance told her to stay away, but she didn’t. She reached her hand out and placed it on his wrist. She looked up at him, “it’s worth a shot, right?” She wasn’t really comprehending the risks. Electric shock? She had watched lightning strike down mere inches from her during a thunderstorm. “Besides, I’m assuming he knows what he’s doing,” she smiled. If she died, then they could say Ace has been to blame. Lily didn’t know if anyone would have cared, but she was okay with that.

narcissisticnugget narcissisticnugget Lance closed his eyes and pulled her into a hug, "If you will be brave, then I guess I must be too." Reaching up with one free hand he removed his headphones and... Nothing. His powers didn't lash out. "No way..." Master Ace smirked to himself. It seemed it was true after all. What's more, while Lily is within close proximity of Lance without his headphones, the strength of her legs and body would return.

"It appears that not only am I right, but the danger that I feared is real as well." He lowered his head, "when you are ready, please take a seat at my desk and I'll tell you one last thing."

"Sorry about that," Lance said beginning to pick her up. "Here I'll put you back in your wheelchair."

Arlo thanked the person who had pointed him to the direction of some magic fundamentals. He wanted to read the basics before going into anything because his parents had neglected him to actually teach him fundamentals for magic and instead focused on the history and theory of magic usage instead of anything practical. He looked through the bookshelves and eventually found a fairly large sized book named "The Complete Fundamentals on Arcane Casting," which he thought looked promising. He reached up and picked the book off of the shelf and was walking back to the counter when he saw Lily panicking. Arlo set his books down and walked towards Lily, but before he could reach her, she disappeared. Arlo quickly ran towards where she had been standing and looked around for any evidence of what happened. Not finding anything, he ran towards Shub, as she was the closest person to LIly before what had happened.
"What happened! She just disappeared! What are we going to do now!." He was very blatantly panicking, and if you knew Arlo, you would know that he rarely loses his cool.

Lily panicked for a second, struggling against the hug. The sudden inability to move, paired with the fact that she had been told she could die, scared her. She stayed there, struggling, until Lance broke away and placed her back in her wheelchair. She wasn’t too excited to move, but she pulled closer to the desk anyways. She bit her lip, fidgeting with her notebook again.

narcissisticnugget narcissisticnugget Master Ace grew solemn. "There is another dragon, one who was thought to be there first. It initially created the world. He loved all of creation, but when mankind waged wars, his heart grew cold. Now he is a dragon bent on destruction. Together you are two pieces to the puzzle to protect the land. At least that is what my research shows. I suggest that, before I send you back, you put your headphones back on." He looked up seriously. "If I'm right, your powers will be under control when you are near each other. Any last questions?"

Lance felt a small bit of guilt at scaring Lily. He quickly bowed his head again, "please forgive my manners. As a reflex I used to do that with my youngest sister. I hope you can forgive me." He raised his head again. "A dragon? A evil one?" He furrowed his brow. He couldn't remember any creation stories involving Dragons let alone a dangerous one like that. He didn't know what that thing was but it sounded like it was going to be trouble.

Shub was glad she found Arlo, but she was still worried. She began to tell him everything she knew. "I don't know. I can feel there was some portal residue left over. She could be anywhere right now..." She said with a saddened look. "I hope she's okay..."
