Arlo watched the training calmly, but focused, making sure that nothing gets out of hand. As Arlo was getting ready to stand up after Eva backed away from Lance, he saw Lance wink. As soon as he did, he sat back down and waited for him to make his move, focusing on the training.

"Always be on your toes" Lance had said.

Arlo watched as Lance shot his arm out, palm facing towards Eva, and felt static electricity. He saw Eva avoid some electricity that had formed at her feet and looked as if she had two left feet and was doing the Cha Cha Slide. As Eva was getting out of the way, Arlo laughed at Eva and then quieted down in case Eva heard him.

Kiya attempted to push open the gate but it wouldn't budge, she looked aorund for maybe a button or something but there was nothing... She held the bars of the gates and peered in, squinting.

"HELLO!?"

Lily saw Arlo hide his laugh, and she shook her head. “Don’t be rude!!” She scolded, but she was smiling. “She seems okay at defending, I know I couldn’t do that,” she admitted, “Maybe I’m not the best person to compare her to.” She realized, laughing in a kind of self-pitying way. “You can do it!” She was cheering on both Eva and Lance, hating to pick sides.

Hyunjin was walking past the school entrance and she noticed someone calling out from it. She decided to go check it out and who was it? It seemed to be a girl who's lost her way. Or perhaps, a new student. She went up to the gates and confronted the girl. Her expression was very calm and her sword was sheathed behind her. The tone of voice she was using was somehow alluring, but Hyunjin had to know something. Was she lost? Or was she a new student? And for the love of God, she isn't with the Rebel Organisation. "Hello. Who're you?"

Slappy McHuge Slappy McHuge narcissisticnugget narcissisticnugget Kairon Kairon Lance nodded. "You did well for not expecting my attack. Alright I think you would be fun to train. I'd say we should set up certain days for your combat training. I think it's too rushed. Maybe after school in the courtyard or in the back in the woods should suffice." He put his hand on her shoulder, "don't worry it will be fine. If a situation like what we dealt with before happens again you'll be prepared for it."

Arlo walks up to Eva and Lance, smiling, and says "That was quite enjoyable to watch, and since I don't really have anything to do afterschool, I would like to help you guys. I have taken many martial arts classes and I think I could offer a new perspective, but, at the very least, it would be an enjoyable past time."

Monokuma.is.best Monokuma.is.best "This fight is a joke...Man I am only buzzed." He then chugged the last bit in his flask. Lance is far to fast for that girl. He had to confront Lance about this Demon King because well he was interested in what he was really after all those years ago. Now to confront them in his tipsy state he thought about doing a superhero landing and looking cool. Yeah that didn't happen instead he fell out of the tree and face planted into the ground. "Ouch..." Then he turned into mist and got back on his feet."Hey Lance is it? I got a couple of questions to ask."

Lily had gotten left behind, kind of awkward trying to pull herself up onto her wheelchair with all of her available upper body strength. It took a little longer, which frustrated her, but she pushed through it, sitting back down and coming over. “Good job!” She said, looking at both Lance and Eva and nodding. She heard Arlo offering to help, and she was tempted to as well. However, she didn’t know how she would do it. Her arms were still kind of tired from trying to pull herself up, she had to end up just sitting there and nodding.

Lance assured her that they would be ready if something like before happened again. Eva didn't feel ready. In fact, she didn't feel like she had learned a thing.

"What?" she asked. Lance just smiled. "Wait, what?!" She asked again, accusation creeping into the question. This later training he mentioned had better be good.

She caught Arlo trying to stifle a laugh. "Laugh it up, guy," she muttered under her breath, but waved to him with the appearance of good cheer. Lily offered her congratulations, which was nice for whatever it was she had accomplished just now. Eva gave Lily a short curtsy.

Arlo, for his own self, seemed to take the light rebuke in good stride, and came towards them. He offered martial arts training. Eva felt a twinge of shame at accepting the help offered from her friends a second time. But she swallowed her pride.

"I accept, Lyons. This better be good, though," she teased. "My social calendar is filling up fast."

"Hi, I'm Kiya. I was told about this place and.. Uhh.. Yeah." She chuckled nervously.

She tilted her head. "Are you a new student? You missed the opening ceremony." She then started to wonder if she should get some sort of staff to come and let her in. Of course, she didn't want to open the gates herself because she didn't know how to. And it isn't really her job to just let anyone in, and she could be a rebel scout going deep undercover. Maybe she should let Professor Bell know about this...

She looked slightly worried.
"Oh is that important?", she paused for a moment, "Yeah I guess I am a new student..", She seemed pretty nonchalant considering the situation she was in. But was she putting up a front...?

Hyunjin just offered her a smile before she spoke. "Then, I will go get one of the professors to come and unlock the gates for you then. I am a student here, just like you, so I shouldn't be allowed to open the gates to anyone, right?" She then spun on her heel and spoke as she left. "Please be patient." She then went to the teacher's lounge room where she'd hope to find someone to help her unlock the gates for a late student. She didn't go to the headmaster since she'd assume he'd be busy. Once she got to the teacher's lounge, she knocked on the door three times and let herself in. She then bowed as a sign of requesting forgiveness for her sudden intrusion. When she straightened herself up, she spoke. "Excuse me, there's a late student locked out of the gates at the school entrance. Could anyone have a key to open it for her, please?"

Canth Canth , you may take this call. I'm currently in a tight situation with my guardian. Have fun, though.

((I’ll get something written up shortly. Work got a little crazy of late, plus we were training people this week so my usual routine was interrupted. I’ve got some free time at the moment tho, so I’ll see what I can do.))

Alexander Bell
Alexander Bell read over the note once, and then a second time. He turned it over in his hand and drew it closer for inspection, but it seemed to be nothing more than a slip of paper with writing. Alex looked back down at the rat, eyeing him closely, but said nothing. Ellery, who had curled up on his desk, was watching the creature too, her ears pricked and her tail tip twitching. The witch folded the note up and tucked it away inside his coat before scooting back in his chair and standing. He gave the rat one last look before turning for the door and heading out into the hallway.

Professor Bell pushed his hands into his coat pockets and, head bowed and eyes on the floor, he made his way to the teacher’s lounge. He had a few things to run by Professor Vance Boyd, who was the resident chemist of the school. Or, that was what Bell called him. He taught basic chemistry here at Trinity Crescent, though his knowledge and expertise went far beyond what he led the others to believe. Alex had a theory that he was disgraced from some failed experiment that had been of the amoral category, and had come here to this school to hide and maybe repair his reputation a bit.

Alex stepped into the lounge and looked around, only to be disappointed. Boyd must still be in class—he always came straight to the lounge when he was not teaching, not seeming to enjoy his own company. Bell turned to leave only to be confronted by one of the students he had been sent to retrieve earlier. Jin, was it? Something like that.

“You’d have to talk to him,” Professor Mooringham, who had given Bell quite the look when he had first walked in, now jutted her thumb over her shoulder at the witch. “He set up the new security system. Something about our previous one being sub-par.”

“It relied on machines and technology. It was primitive,” Alex replied, tossing Mooringham one of his signature smiles she hated so much.

“Yes, and what you do is not primitive.” Her sarcasm was so thick, Alex though she might choke on it.

“I like to think of it as...arcane,” he defended proudly. “Now, excuse my while I go pray to Satan over the corpse of a child sacrifice.”

Alex moved to the door and held his arm out, motioning for Hyunjin to pass. “Lead the way.”

Kiya yawns loudly, tapping her foot which is leaned against the bar of the gate quickly. Turning around every so often to see if there is someone coming.

Lily nodded, unsure of how to respond to a curtsy. She sort of just sat there and nodded, feeling as though she wasn’t really a part of it. She was okay with that though. “Can I come and watch?” The words were out of her mouth before she could really think about them. “I mean-I don’t have to, I don’t want to be a burden,” she smiled, her words not making sense to her. She rolled back a bit, looking around the area, leaving the three to discuss training and martial arts and whatever.
She saw a new person and kind of froze for a moment. How long as he been there? He wanted to speak to Lance? She looked over Lance, unsure whether he had seen this new guy yet or not.

Hyunjin smiled and nodded. She then moved past Professor Bell and lead him to the gates where the new student was. On the way, she had thanked him for getting her and Shinku out of the forest, since she doesn't think anyone did so yet. "Professor? Thanks for getting us outta the forest. It looked like things were quite heated then.." She said at one point in the hallways just before they stepped out of the building. They then reached the gate where Kiya was waiting. She waved to Kiya and offered a smile once more. "I'm back. Did we make you wait long?"

She smiled in reply, "No.."

She saw the professor and offered a smile and a hand, "Kiya, pleasure to meet you.", she said this in a confident and tranquil voice.

Arlo forgot that Lily had been on the ground and as soon as she got there, apologized for not helping her up. He then looked at Eva and laughed at her joke. "Don't worry, I'm a pretty good teacher and you seem like a fast learner, and, please, call me Arlo."

The bell soon rung and people started shuffling into the hallways heading off to their classes. Arlo looks down at the map Lily made and tries to find where he should go. "Well, it was fun talking with you guys, see you later." He waves goodbye at Eva and Lance "Come on, Lily, I think that we're in the same class." He walks down the hallway and eventually finds his classroom, sits down and gets ready for class.
