Hyunjin was walking past the school entrance and she noticed someone calling out from it. She decided to go check it out and who was it? It seemed to be a girl who's lost her way. Or perhaps, a new student. She went up to the gates and confronted the girl. Her expression was very calm and her sword was sheathed behind her. The tone of voice she was using was somehow alluring, but Hyunjin had to know something. Was she lost? Or was she a new student? And for the love of God, she isn't with the Rebel Organisation. "Hello. Who're you?"Kiya attempted to push open the gate but it wouldn't budge, she looked aorund for maybe a button or something but there was nothing... She held the bars of the gates and peered in, squinting.
"HELLO!?"

"Hello. Who're you?"
She tilted her head. "Are you a new student? You missed the opening ceremony." She then started to wonder if she should get some sort of staff to come and let her in. Of course, she didn't want to open the gates herself because she didn't know how to. And it isn't really her job to just let anyone in, and she could be a rebel scout going deep undercover. Maybe she should let Professor Bell know about this...Kiya grinned and waved, looking at the woman and admiring her dashing confidence.
"Hi, I'm Kiya. I was told about this place and.. Uhh.. Yeah." She chuckled nervously.
Hyunjin just offered her a smile before she spoke. "Then, I will go get one of the professors to come and unlock the gates for you then. I am a student here, just like you, so I shouldn't be allowed to open the gates to anyone, right?" She then spun on her heel and spoke as she left. "Please be patient." She then went to the teacher's lounge room where she'd hope to find someone to help her unlock the gates for a late student. She didn't go to the headmaster since she'd assume he'd be busy. Once she got to the teacher's lounge, she knocked on the door three times and let herself in. She then bowed as a sign of requesting forgiveness for her sudden intrusion. When she straightened herself up, she spoke. "Excuse me, there's a late student locked out of the gates at the school entrance. Could anyone have a key to open it for her, please?"She looked slightly worried.
"Oh is that important?", she paused for a moment, "Yeah I guess I am a new student..", She seemed pretty nonchalant considering the situation she was in. But was she putting up a front...?
Canth , you may take this call. I'm currently in a tight situation with my guardian. Have fun, though.Hyunjin just offered her a smile before she spoke. Canth AL.Over
Thank you. But, I'll have to check it tomorrow since I'm going to leave my guardian's house and go back to my own. Have a nice day.( I made a teacher character, seeing as that we're pretty short on teachers. )
Hyunjin smiled and nodded. She then moved past Professor Bell and lead him to the gates where the new student was. On the way, she had thanked him for getting her and Shinku out of the forest, since she doesn't think anyone did so yet. "Professor? Thanks for getting us outta the forest. It looked like things were quite heated then.." She said at one point in the hallways just before they stepped out of the building. They then reached the gate where Kiya was waiting. She waved to Kiya and offered a smile once more. "I'm back. Did we make you wait long?"Alexander BellAlexander Bell read over the note once, and then a second time. He turned it over in his hand and drew it closer for inspection, but it seemed to be nothing more than a slip of paper with writing. Alex looked back down at the rat, eyeing him closely, but said nothing. Ellery, who had curled up on his desk, was watching the creature too, her ears pricked and her tail tip twitching. The witch folded the note up and tucked it away inside his coat before scooting back in his chair and standing. He gave the rat one last look before turning for the door and heading out into the hallway.
Professor Bell pushed his hands into his coat pockets and, head bowed and eyes on the floor, he made his way to the teacher’s lounge. He had a few things to run by Professor Vance Boyd, who was the resident chemist of the school. Or, that was what Bell called him. He taught basic chemistry here at Trinity Crescent, though his knowledge and expertise went far beyond what he led the others to believe. Alex had a theory that he was disgraced from some failed experiment that had been of the amoral category, and had come here to this school to hide and maybe repair his reputation a bit.
Alex stepped into the lounge and looked around, only to be disappointed. Boyd must still be in class—he always came straight to the lounge when he was not teaching, not seeming to enjoy his own company. Bell turned to leave only to be confronted by one of the students he had been sent to retrieve earlier. Jin, was it? Something like that.
“You’d have to talk to him,” Professor Mooringham, who had given Bell quite the look when he had first walked in, now jutted her thumb over her shoulder at the witch. “He set up the new security system. Something about our previous one being sub-par.”
“It relied on machines and technology. It was primitive,” Alex replied, tossing Mooringham one of his signature smiles she hated so much.
“Yes, and what you do is not primitive.” Her sarcasm was so thick, Alex though she might choke on it.
“I like to think of it as...arcane,” he defended proudly. “Now, excuse my while I go pray to Satan over the corpse of a child sacrifice.”
Alex moved to the door and held his arm out, motioning for Hyunjin to pass. “Lead the way.”
