i just wanna apologise on my part for any confusion!
i totally forgot to mention that we'd prefer realistic photos, but if that makes anyone uncomfortable, realistic art or just writing appearances works just as well !

also! i also did another stumble -- deeply apologise again!

Hey, sorry to bother you, but I was just about to fill in the "Who's side are they on?" section when I realised I didn't really know enough about the Equinox sisters to give a reason for my character's stance on their views. From what I'm able to gather, I'm guessing they'd be similar to Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter.
Ik they're trying to take over the school, but what for? Do we know what they wish to change about the magic world? What do they believe are it's current flaws? Or is it purely based on their belief of superiority over fairies?

I don't need anything too detailed or anything, just enough for me to be able to give my character a reason that's all.

It's no bother at all! That's a wonderful question! Thank you so much for asking that! I completely understand needing the reason of why your character would or would not join The Equinox Sisters or not!

I'm currently helping Stardust Galaxy with some brief lore about the history of the school and this question is perfect! The lore of the school ties into this question!

I still need to organise the lore and add in this information in, however, I'll post here in OOC to let you and the others know!

Brief History and Information​

Trinity Academy of Magix dates back since the 19th century and became the most well-established and well-known school in the magic world that incorporates [ 3 ] distinct species under one Academy. The [ 3 ] founders respective to their species - Witch, Fairy, Specialist - came together in union wanting to explore and expirement on the idea of having a school that combines all species than one specific, distinct school dedicating to one specie. In a meeting, the founders decided to join hands, cultivating the idea and moral aspect of wanting their factions to learn from each another.

The idea had it's merits: if there were ever a time in which evil plummets Earth, the 3 species would be ready - already able to work together than seperately. Of course, there were a few instances in which each species were against the idea: causing riots within their own faction or against each other. However, slowly, as time passed, the number of rioters began to dwindle down, leaving only a few numbers in each faction who are against the unity.

3 respective cultures, 3 different forms of morals, and 3 various types of magix all under one umbrella: Trinity Academy of Magix.

As generations passed and acceptance started to encompass in the communities of each species in not only Italy but other countries, rumours of this powerful school started to interest other countries from all around the world. Now, present day, Trinity Academy of Magix is a growing academy that will cater to all 3 species, accepting and inviting magic folks from all around the world. However, as the Academy grows in its number, behind the scene, evil lurks around every corner. With all the most powerful witches, fairies, and specialist in one place, what better opportunity than to destroy them one by one from the inside?

Why Join the Equinox Sisters? Why not?​

In regards to the Equinox Sisters, yes, you can definitely compare them to be sort of like Draco Malfoy. The Sisters were born into a pureblood witch line. Their family are traditional and conservatives. They believe in natural order where all 3 groups should be according to their own laws, rules, and regulations. The combination of having this Academy is against what they believe and this unity. Their family's considered one of the family who are still against this integration.

Nevertheless, they want a new world "order'. The family and other followers want to change the magic world to be what they want than this "kumbayah" nonsense these founders wanted. To do that, the Equinox Sisters are part of the ideals of competition to see who is better than other, no unity, but constant chaos, seperation, and maybe even war.

The Equinox Sisters, themselves, believe they are better than others, especially fairies. Nevertheless, they could gain followers through fear [ they threatened the students by intimidation, threat of harming loved ones, etc. ] but also gain "popularity" by appealing to the fairies, witches, and the specialist - giving them what they want, whatever it is. Your enemy is my enemy. Same motives and ideals such as new order, changing the magic world to see the error of their ways and to return back to how things were: separated , but why not gain power and take over while they're at it too? Only the best of the best, right? They also may appeal to them by saying things like you will reign your people and we will help you as long as you help me. Deals and whatnot.

Mel the GM didn't know she'd get this much interest and so it's so wonderful to have so many interested folks! I'm so excited for her!
We added another slot for the fairy awhile back since we had a few more interested folks in a specialist spot!

Before I say yes, I'll ask Stardust Galaxy first but, she's currently not feeling well and since it requires switching the list around I'd wait on that for a bit!

Hello everyone! Sorry for the absence today but thankfully Cruci was here to save the day. Saying that I want to make an announcement I have been reading the cs and I have noticed that there has been a slight confusion regarding the subjects, especially the ones that are compulsory for each species. So we decided to make small changes regarding the classes they can take.

Although there are specific classes dedicated to witches, fairies, and specialist, there can be some instances in which your characters can take [ one ] course dedicated to another specie since the headmaster wants the students to learn from each other. this would be possible circumstances if you wish to do so.

for example, if my character is a witch and she has the ability to bring things to life by reading out-loud anything inside a book, despite having the specific classes dedicated for witches, she could very well take [ one ] course from the fairy class: art magic as it relates to each other by bringing something to life from some medium.

Saying this you are welcome to choose the classes that would work the best for your character. Sorry for this confusion and hope this helps them to have classes that are more rounded to your characters.

I imagine Sun abilities would be too overpowered, yes? I have ideas to balance it out, such as self-damage and what I call 'overheating', but I understand if you don't want me to use it at all. It would basically work like intense light/heat energy powers(Fire).

i believe it should be okay, i assume that if she has the ability to manipulate sun , she would only be able to use her abilities in the day time? if so, overheating can also be another drawback and as long as there’s drawbacks to limit the power , it should be okay to use.
