Ah, I didn't see that in the Clash description. Thank you. I'll fix it.

I could be wrong, but the fact that they don't mention anything special in the Clash description makes me think we default to the basic rules - if you hit with a Decisive you roll damage and reset to base, and if you don't hit you lose a little bit of initiative.

Yeah, in hindsight, going with Decisive probably wasn't the best of ideas.

Still, I only have a -1 wound penalty, and if I do get attacked again, pretty sure I can use Bulwark Stance to negate all the associated penalties, at least according to the rulebook.

I think that's the last of it. Between distractions and writer's block, I kept the background summary brief. Does the sheet have your approval Sherwood Sherwood ?

Let me finish my IC post and I'll look it over, then you can jump in, since you will probably have no issues with your sheet to fix.

A quick examination shows that you have your Essence listed as still 1, when you've managed to hit Essence 2 with the 50+ xp. Otherwise, I am seeing no issues.

Oh he hasn't spent 50 yet though. only 48. He'll go up in essence with the next native charm.

Cool deal.

Now that your sheet is pretty much done, you can post that you were below decks of the folding ship, and now you are coming up to see what the noise is all about.

The former enforcer of the Riverlands hopped the rail of ship's prow and kicked off from the hull to sail across the open-air overhead, drawing a Starmetal Daiklave as if from the wind itself. He leveled its point at the Deathknight Swordsman. Were the opponent to remain focused on Kuai Dao, it'd only leave an opening to strike at the hamstrings.
By the time you get to the deck, you'll be able to see the swordsman fall from the flaming attack from Mahina, but there is the horrible roaring sound of dozens (maybe hundreds) of voices screaming out from inside this dark pit that has been bored from under the snow.

A bump for D. Rex D. Rex in the IC thread. Do you want to do anything in particular about the noise coming from the open pit?

Yeah my browser tab was out of sync. I've edited the post. That should work better.

No worries. Also, just to let Rykon Rykon know, I'll have you added into the initiative order starting on round 3. You can activate any Charms you wish prior to that so you get the 5m recovery for the new round.

Held you up enough! Lets say I'm going to stop playing and activate my form charm. Whatever is coming sounds like we are going to need another hand. So you can go ahead and post. Sherwood Sherwood

Just a very minor thing, but my character's name is a single word, not two. "Kuaidao", as opposed to "Kuai Dao".

The force of the blow sends a shower of sparks up in the air as Valden skids backwards, but you hold firm. Many of the faces of the thing look surprised that you were able to survive under the force of its blade.

D. Rex D. Rex is up with Bard

12 - [Kuaidao -5L]
9 - [Valden]

8 - [Monster]
6 - Bard <====
4 - Maja
4 - Spider

4 - Milo
4 - Mahina
3 - Rory

Round 4
12 - Valden
11 - Kuaidao - 5L
8 - Monster

OOC this one just put my total at 43,000 posts! Wow!

First of all congrats on 43k.

Second, does the 2 withering damage not lower it to 6 or is it operating like a battle group? Give the image, the battle group approach makes a lot of sense I'm just curious on how to handle the numbers behind the scenes.

If the target was not such a huge size, you would have Crashed it.
Is this Super Legendary Size? If Spider did 12 dice of post-soak damage that exceeds the 10 threshold for Crashing ordinary Legendary Size, though I'm not sure if she did. She has 12 base damage, 2 net hits, 5m Strength Excellency, 4 strength, and another 4 from DBT, so that's 27 damage? Subtracting 20 soak is 7 dice of damage, right?

If you retroactively spend the 2m on Divine Predator Strike that would give you an extra 4 post-soak damage dice, pushing you from 7 to 11 damage dice and letting you crash it (that way you won't lose any of your hits on the damage roll).

I was just running the numbers myself and getting a bit lost. I assumed Spider was using the twin Daiklaves and came up with 25, but 27 if using the dire chain as well.

As you said though, citing the text, 10 poak soak puts crashing back on the table but hitting 30 Raw Damage is not done lightly.
