Futuristic Transsolar

I don't mind you using whichever one you want, just be sure to be consistent with it. If you want to call the Captain sir, then do so for the entirety of the RP and don't switch it up halfway in.

I'd prefer you to ignore my cranky ass, you're right, just keep it within limits please, I know you two are fast posters and it can easily throw someone off if they're gone for a while.

It wouldn't be fair that you two were to shut out the rest because you post so fast, Anaxial and luminescent can't post always, and me neither, so it'd only be considerate that you give them a chance to wedge in between.

But I'm in the Navy and I can personally tell you it definitely does matter. Never get caught calling a female officer Sir.

You're probably right, all I know is that at Air Force SLS they said it didn't matter. I'll assume you're right.

So, if I have it correctly, Vincent would be engineered, Saami is artificial (and androids are robots, duh). That way we won't mess up those words.

Or perhaps it is better to switch it a level. Vincent is modified Saami is engineered, and androids are artificial.

Yeah, that seems better. Scrap the last comment.

I think the term
spliced would make better sense than engineered.

I think modified makes more sense than spliced, as splicing is something you do before a new set of something. Say you have one batch of clones that is faulty, then you will splice better genes into the embryos of new ones, you don't splice something as complex as a human while he is living. That and modified also includes technological implants.

Technically the egg came before the chicken, because chicken refers to one specific animal and egg can refer to something as old as a reptilian egg from 298.9 to 252.17 million years ago. If it were to be a chicken egg it would be the chicken that came first, but then it would be circular reasoning because you presuppose that it is a chicken egg.

Now it could be that the chicken egg is inferred, but then you wouldn't look at it from a technical standpoint anymore, as you use another definition of 'egg' based on your own assumptions.
