Then there's my characters. Dark past, secrets, etc, lots of fighting, etc. xD
Ya see, when I role-play a guy with girls, I make sure they know that isn't allowed because nobody can do it right.. (:'() Makes me sad.

Sometimes you just gotta be a loveable old guy/gal with years of experience and not giving a fuck behind their belt.

You make yourself sound old.. No offence, I swear! I apologize if that offends you.

I know Allyn gets offended by the word Sir and he's only a year older than me, I swear. (-n-)

Most people don't understand the manner in which it is said. Trust me, I'm southern. I understand this far too well.

I don't get offended by Sir, I get offended by Mr Crowe. You can call me Sir all you want. Or Allyn Pallyn fuzzy wuzzy paws... I might allow that too on some occasions...

How can you do it wrong?
Well, I like it when i'm doing a one x one, or even a group role-play, that the characters get to know one another better and it's not as dramatic as a Hispanic television show. More like, we take our time learning about the troubles? When you read a book, they don't rush straight into the main character's love interest's back story. They stray away from that until they are legitimately positive that the person they are confiding to can actually be trusted -- fully. It's great to fall in love, the love doesn't have to wait, but there are obstacles that I deem necessary, and logical, before the character truly develops that deeper bond with its significant other. A rushed relationship doesn't feel great, it's awkward. Kind of like reality.

I feel as though, a character, or person, who indulges in their darkest of secrets and depressing pasts instantly don't have much of a character development, and they're exaggerating too much.

Ah, when they just bluntly tell it? Yeah, that's stupid.
