Yeah, they are all in the navigation depart, because in case something goes wrong they have to be able to immediately take control of the ship. Saami's would be there as well, if he ever went into stasis which is somewhat unlikely as he is the head pilot.

No, the coal is burning too. So you have methane gas light orbs, and like ember-y red glowing coal that will look like a starry sky with a load of suns somehow.

This is sounding like a physical impossibility... I thought fire needed oxygen... so, the methane-only atmosphere wouldn't allow for much fire....
