Rando strolled within the ooc, a question clearly on his mind. As he entered another arose, though his first was still in need.
"No pictures allowed for the character sheet, correct? Or was that just for the interest check post?" He questioned Neon Valkyrie Neon Valkyrie before staring at the rules of the ooc itself.
"And is this third person narrative a must?" He laughed as he asked.

Neon, already sitting in a throne built from the melted keyboards of a thousand laptops, offered Rando a warm smile, and a wave. Her features fell a little as the puzzled look on his face became apparent, but returned once he finished speaking.

"That is correct, no character pictures anywhere. I really want imaginations to run wild here, and I think using images for our characters sets a bad precedent. I'm not going to be using any images other than the one in the header ... and the map ... both of which I'm now thinking of removing, because it sets a bad precedent ... it just looks so nice for the opening post ..." Her tone flattened as she began to ramble.

Rando's second question shook her from her word-filled daze, though the look of confusion that washed over her face offered little hope of a straight answer. "I ... what do you mean 'third person narrative,' we're just talking ..."

... No, it's not necessary at all, I just didn't know what else to post in the header of such a self-explanatory thread, especially with this new tabs thing cleaning up the links to the other pages.[/b]

Alright, once everyone moves their first posts over, we'll start all official-like. In the mean time, it's mah bed-time.

Alright, so with the RP almost begun, I have a few things I'd like everyone's input on before we get started;

Firstly, I just love everyone's character. This is so perfect. Secondly, we aren't using any kind of system for rolling, or levelling, so I leave character advancement and general combat in everyone's hands. Think of us as co-dms, feel free to throw in details, monsters, NPCs, etc, and I'll try to add them to the header in a timely fashion. Lastly, I want everyone to think of this as a safe, trigger free zone ... nah, I'm just kidding, but seriously, the best party is the party that shares; beef, bravado, or best wishes, air it if it happens.

That's all ... just ... just thought you should know ...

Beard is the pride and joy of a Dwarf. Handsomeness depends on how thick and well-kept their beards are.

Second is their mustache.

By the way female Dwarves are also rated by their beard. But they can't grow mustache so beard's the only thing they can be proud of.

I think I've just created a disaster but eh

Sam took out his journal and began scribbling away. He knew that the success of a bard depended on not the story you tell, but how you tell it. So when he heard that adventurers could build-a-monster into this marvelous world, he knew that he had to invent the creature of legends and make money from it!

When you think about it, the most normal-looking adventurer in this group is also the most evil-looking one.

This...doesn't bode well for the future hmmm

Considering he looks like he was born in a catacomb with a zombie hand, not sure if Athgoth is the most normal-looking :P Unless there's another evil looking adventurer haha

*Necromancer summoned skeleton warriors to fight

*Party got damaged

"It's okay me can heal!"

*Paladin cast Healing Light to the entire party

*Skeleton Warriors burned to death because who use Holy to heal undead?!

*Blank stares
I don't think it's much of a problem. Athgoth has a lot of knowledge as an apothecary, including surgery and using negative and positive energies for healing. He can serve as the pseudo-cleric of the group and keep his own zombies and skeletons alive, once he has them.

I'd be more worried about Athgoth obtaining knowledge of runes. Imagine an undead skeleton servant whose body is cast with adamantium and inscribed with powerful reinforcement runes. Add to that fire runes on the feet and hands and an outer framing from also adamantium and you have basically a Fantasy version of an undead Iron Man suit.

Yes, I'd describe him as a rather creepy fellow. Looking at him should unsettle the ordinary villager, but actually being looked into one's eyes by him could probably send chills down the spines of the common joe and send people away if he stood in a dark alley and just stared at them.
