Fantasy Titans of the Lost World

Little? Sure she was maybe a little short for a nineteen-year-old' and skinny, but Eira wasn't necessarily little, right? Being five foot two wasn't that bad...Trying not to dwell on that thought for long, she tentatively took the small vial and held it in her hands; looking down at the oddly colored liquid with an air of curiosity yet also mild fear and hesitation. After living alone for years on end, Eira had lost the ability to trust people, hence why she was staring down at the object with her brows lightly furrowed. The stranger said it was to help with her throat and side effects from being low on mana, but Eira naturally thought she was lying despite knowing that the kind stranger didn't have a reason to lie about something so trivial. Pushing her growing anxiety and questioning thoughts aside, she looked back up at Ashlynn and gave a small nod as if to say thank you; popping open the cap and slowly drinking the whole thing since it wasn't all that much anyway. Once she drank it all, Eira almost immediately noticed that her throat didn't feel rough or burning from her vocal cords being put back into use, plus her exhaustion and lightheadedness from the lack of mana she had left was gone too. For a brief moment, a smile flickered across her face and a gentle sigh escaped her nose, keeping the now empty vial in a small pocket close to where her blade was, just for if she ever needed to use the vial for some other purpose.

Now that she had her voice back, somewhat, Eira gazed back up at the taller male in wait for his explanation and response to her question, taking note that other people had progressively moved forward in response to Avery's previous words and instructions to gather around him. The more people showed up, the tenser Eira became as it wasn't often that she was subjected to being around a lot of people.

Hananya Thirío

Hananya was relieved when everything finally seemed to calm down after all of that nonsense. She just sighed and folded her arms, still annoyed at it all. All of this was completely unnecessary and she didnt understand it. She looked as both the guard and woman then introduced themselves as as Avery and Ashlynn. The Kewan was relieved that the the tension seemed to die down. She looked at the bag of gold that had just been given to her, as well as an apology for that performance. The Kewan looked between the pair in silence for a few moments before letting out a gruff sigh, deciding to answer them. The last thing she wanted was for things to become hostile again. "...Hananya Thirío." She answered finally with a slight nod.

She would have turned around and left just then when something that Avery mentioned caught her attention. "...The Grand Campain?" She frowned, "What-?" She then snarled and covered her ears as the sound of trumpets suddenly blasted. They sounded as if they were being blown right into her ears! She darted her eyes as the crowd seem to all go in the same direction. "What's going on?" she asked, baring her teeth in annoyance. After being so used to the quiet tranquility of the forest, this was a huge contrast and she really hated it!

"A Grand Campaign, huh? Sounds almost romantic, doesn't it?" Lawrence smiled, though beneath a calm surface his stomach was roiling. The king was coming, huh? The despoiler himself, the absolute antithesis of everything the world stood for before. Curiosity mixed with a tinge of anger, but his rage soon passed. After all, he'd heard the king repented more than even the most vile of criminals in the years following the fall of man.

Of course, he knew he probably should've moved on, then. No matter what glory this Campaign was hunting, it was likely no story for a gentle young priest. But, still, there was no harm in listening to the proposal, right? After all, his Uncle probably had a handle on the church and its wards, despite his gruff protests. And he WAS young, after all. Kings, knights, grand quests, it all had a vaguely nostalgic air that had him absolutely giddy.

But, before triumphs and proclamations, there were the people right in front of him, one of which clearly could use some attention.
"I suppose I'll stick around. My little church did send me as a representative of our interests, after all. I'd feel like I failed the most basic of basics if I didn't hear about this Campaign." As he spoke, he fished around in his pack for just a moment, pulling out a gaudily colored cloth sack, and gently extending it to the youngest member of the little circle that had formed, the thin girl in the tattered dress. "I wish I had something more substantial to offer, but a few of the children where I'm from insisted I take these cookies with me. Not grand fare, I know, but I've never had much of a sweet tooth. Take them, if you'd like." His smile was warm and gentle as he spoke.

The Kewan -well Hanaya in this case- made Eira tense briefly upon hearing the snarl, turning to look up at her briefly yet not answering since, well, she didn't know either, hence why she was still standing here waiting for all the people to gather around before the Black Serpent member spoke up. She patiently waited, glancing around nervously and fiddling with a small ring on her index finger; it not looking like anything special as it was just a small metal band although she did her best to make sure it was clean. After all, it was the thing that helped channel her magic whenever she used it -not having had an instructor or someone to teach her magic, plus it definitely came in handy when she was learning a new spell from a beast or wandering mage such as herself.

Eira was booted out of her thoughts momentarily after coming to the realization that she was being spoken to again, this time by the priest from earlier. Looking up at him, the nineteen-year-old took the small colored cloth holding the cookies into her hand, looking down at them in awe whilst doing her best not to drool at the sight of food. Sure it wasn't anything substantial, but Eira couldn't even remember the last time she had anything sweet. Things like cookies, candies, or cakes being a luxury to her. "...I can..have these?" she spoke carefully, gazing back up at Lawrence and looking a little unsure, especially if these were gifts from the children he spoke of. "I-...t-thank you, but are you sure you want to give these to me?" Eira spoke slowly now, her voice still not having returned completely of course, but it was getting there, plus she didn't understand why the man was being so nice to her. After all, she had been treated as unworthy of anything for the entirety of her life, so it was a little more difficult for Eira to understand why Lawrence was gifting her food.

The Kewan was ready to freak out again. "We're all gathering up. You're still under our protection. Don't worry about another display of ignorance from us humans."

With these few and some other townspeople gathered around, Avery politely declined a cookie to speak about the matters at hand. "I know you know this, but the Magic has been drained from the world a year ago today. This Grand Campaign will send some troops out to go search for the Sigils and bring out the Titans. This proclamation will detail the order of the Titans we'll find, because that's very important to how we'll help this land. Titan encounters can be weeks to months apart, so the order we take these things down is important. Not only are we going out to find these Titans, but we're going out to establish military plans with the other cities when they come out. We need all the help we can get, and that goes for both the group that's setting out and the cities that'll actually fighting the Titans. If they're as strong as the Legends say, we're dealing with colossal beasts, so military force is the greatest asset we have. We've been out recruiting people to come along. Anyone who shows either worth in some aspect or skill in battle is allowed to come."

Hananya Thirío
Hananya looked at Avery as he assured her that she was still under protection and would not be harmed. “Good…” she commented before looking at the smaller girl, who seemed alarmed at her previous snarl. The Kewan sighed deeply and glanced around for a moment before picking a thornless rose from her belt. She hoped they would not question why she had them, but she reached down to the girl, hoping she would take it. At this point, she did not want anyone to be afraid of her.

She turned to Avery as he then explained exactly what the Grand Campaign was. Her ears flicked as she listened to his words. Titans? She had heard about them before. Marian had told her about them when she was younger. And she remembered a letter Marian had sent her just around a year ago. “...No magic?” She asked, suddenly looking angry. Her adoptive mother was very proud of her earth magic and when the magic had vanished, it had caused her gardens and the land she maintained to die. It destroyed her… A non-magic being herself (as far as she knew) Hananya was not affected, but it frustrated her that the elf that raised her was struggling so much…

She was brought out of her thoughts by the smell of something she herself was unfamiliar with. Cookies? She stooped lower, craning her neck out and her nose quivering. A strict carnivore, Hananya knew she would not be able to ingest one of them so just shook her head lightly.

As Avery finished his speech, Hananya puffed her cheeks and looked elsewhere. They were recruiting people to take these things down? The Kewan shook her head. “I’m just ‘ere for food. No’ huntin’ down giant beasts.” Her tail swished along the ground as she said this. Selfish? Yes, but it was not her problem! But still, she knew she had to at least try and fit in with these… humans. “...I’ll listen though. To the King.” She added, though her own instincts (and stomach) were demanding she simply left.

The girl's sheer joy and nervous trepidation was bitter sweet, Lawrence thought. This world had never been fair or kind, but in the wake of the Ancient God's flight, human resentment and anger had boiled into desperation and open hostility, and it seemed not even though young and innocent were spared from the worst the new land had to offer. "Well, seems I've got no other takers. Please, have your fill. No need to be shy, now."

As he offered the sweet to the small woman, Lawrence's ears perked up again. A heroic quest to fell Titan's, then? Now that seemed to be a fool's errand. After all, though his knowledge was limited to what he'd been told and what yellowed old tomes had to offer, "big" and "strong" were all the adjectives he'd needed to hear to immediately classify this as out of his league.

"The opportunity to hear His Majesty speak isn't one I'd pass up, though I'm hesitant to throw my hat in the ring. Religious officials and warzones rarely mix well, after all. Still, I've come all this way. If I didn't return with stories of the king, the children would have my head for sure."

Taking the cookies -after thanking Lawrence kindly- Eira bit into one and smiled, deciding to save the rest of them for another time and now casting her full attention onto Avery and his speech to the crowd.

So that's what this was all about...fighting the Titans. Eira couldn't help but find a sense of ironic humor in this situation after all the king who caused the Gods to be angered in the first place and remove all magic was now trying to find a way to restore it. Unbelievable. Everyone knew fairly well of the risk at stake of going on this journey to defeat the Titans, yet at the same time, Eira found herself staying right where she was to her own surprise. For the past few years, Eira had thought of nothing but herself and how she was going to survive, always running away from what responsibilities she had and pretending as if the world's problems weren't her own; but now with this proclamation of joining together to hunt down the Titans, she felt as if she could redeem herself here. She could help restore the Earth magic her brother cherished before his passing, and that in itself was a good enough reason for her to stay. "When you say we have to show our worth, how do we do that?" she asked once the other was presumed done with his explanation, it being unclear if she would have to show whatever skills in front of the king himself, one of the Black Serpents, White Feathers, or throughout the journey as a whole.

In wakefield, the capital city of Ishrion, Roy waited for King Richard's proclamation. Prior to his wait, he finished a conversation, where he declared that he'd help with understanding and hunting the Titans. However, the thought of getting in any proximity with a Titan certainly frightened him, and he often paced around the thoughts in his minds. Soon enough, as time was nearing the the proclamation, Roy witnessed his own comrades enter a squabble with the black knights. He prepared his arms swiftly, in case of a sudden battle. Fortunately, Roy's stance persisted for only several minutes, as a man clad in black armor encouraged the paladin leader to order all members to drop their weapons.

With tension diminished, Roy later heard someone state something about a grand campaign, the same man who convinced the paladins to lay their arms down. He remembered an important detail that in his earlier conversation, he ought to locate any person covered in black attire. Such a little piece of information made sense to Roy, as the armored man mentioned information on Titans. Either way, he had time to kill, so he took it upon himself to confront the man, and ask a question, "Hello, Sir. I'm Sir Roy II Fortesque of the Church. May I offer my services as a blacksmith and fighter? I too seek the titans. You need not reply right away, as I'll be here for the king's speech." Throughout the dialogue, Roy carried his helmet to his left side, which meant many noticed his blonde, curly hair and blue eyes.

Sir Avery Valencia
Wakefield Town Square

Avery started walking towards the castle. "Anyone who wants to join and think they have value, come with me. We'll get you registered and briefed while the king gives his speech. Be prepared for a performance test. Won't be too hard. Just have to verify your skill set." Avery looked at the group. They looked promising, but if the Paladins taught him anything, it was to not judge a book by its cover.

Oh great, a performance test. That was the one thing Eira really wasn't looking forward to but like Avery said the group would have to prove their worth somehow, and this was apparently how they were going to do it. Eira knew well enough that she wasn't capable of being a medic or potion maker -not having had any materials to work or practice with to become one, plus her more aligned element was ice, not nature-based healing or putting together herbs for medicinal purposes. If anything, she could be a translator for some beasts or monsters the group comes along or a scout since she did nothing but travel the past twelve years of her life. However, Eira couldn't shake a gut feeling that she may have to show off some combat skills of some sort, which to her wasn't that unreasonable considering the fact that they were about to head out and chase after Titans. Skill wise and based on some combat training she had undergone with a surprisingly kind group of thieves ironically enough, she was more or less prone to stealth and quick attacks with smaller blades -the sole purpose being to target vital points almost like an assassin, yet she was rusty due to not having an actual instructor. Magic wise? Eira was strong and had quite a few spells from other creatures that she tucked away, but it wasn't like she could use them with her low level of mana remaining. If anything, she could probably kick off one spell and that would be it.

It's alright, she thought herself as she closed her eyes and took a deep slow breath. I'll be fine. I just have to do my best is all. Calming herself down, Eira glanced around amongst the other group members, seeing who was coming along with her and Sir Avery as she followed after him.

Hananya had only gone a short way before stopping as she could still hear what Sir Avery was saying. She frowned slightly before running her hand over the back of her neck. Whatever was going on with the Titans was not her problem but... he did prevent that crowd for killing her and hanging her head on a wall. Maybe... she could repay him by at least trying out. She could almost feel dear Marian's grip on her ear and her voice telling her she should do so as it was only fair that she returned the favour. Also... she wanted Marian to be happy, after everything the Wood Elf had done for her.

With a gruff sigh, she turned back around and walked back to the group. "Hm... a'ight. I'm in." She sighed as she folded her arms, looking at everyone before setting her eyes on the smaller girl, Eira who seemed unsettled. The Kewan peeked her ears upright at her as she then went to follow Avery. With a huff she also followed. But she had to take much shorter strides than usual, as she overtook Eira almost immediately. Castle Armory

Avery led them to the castle, then into the Armory. "Alright, so you Hanaya and Sir Roy, you'll have a strength test...........and you Ice Woman have one for whatever skill you have. If it requires magic, then take a Mana Potion. If you need new clothes, tell me and I'll get the service on it. Hanaya, if you need Armor, you're free to put some on. Otherwise, get whatever you fell you need." Avery watched over them, as they were in there with a host of other knights getting their things as well. This was the Seraph Armory, however, so the people were generally friendly.

The armory was just that. It had a host of weaponry, relics, armor, and clothing for any to take when authorized. There were weaponry of all types. Swords, Daggers, Knives, Axes, Hatchets, Bows, Spears, Lances, Staffs, Halberds, Hand Cannons, Flintlock Weaponry, Magic Weaponry (deprived of magic). It was stacked, hundred and hundreds of each weapon and armor. Light, Medium, Heavy, Animal Armor, Paladin Armor, Mage Robes. There was nothing this Armory didn't have in terms of equipment. That included a host of Potions, Poisons, Bombs, the works

Walking into the armory, Eira was naturally shocked by the sheer number and range of weaponry the Seraphs carried; walking around slowly and looking around to see all her options. Upon being spoken to, she turned to face Avery with her eyes widening in shock. A mana potion? Looking back around, Eira found a select few mana potions in the corner, walking over towards the shelf and taking one very daintily into her hands; already knowing that she planned on showing off her magic. Now Eira didn't drink it right away, instead, she looked back at Avery for clarification --was it really okay for her to take something so valuable? In the time it took for her to ask herself this question, Eira barely interpreted the rest of what Avery said until about a minute or two later. "...b-better clothes would be nice, um, thank you..." she spoke to him softly, glancing down at herself and hating how ragged and dirty she looked --feeling incredibly out of place here compared to everyone else, or at least most people anyway.

Meanwhile, as she waited for the new set of clothes she would be receiving, Eira was drawn over towards the Mage robes; more specifically one that was a soft blue with snowflake patterns near the bottom and close to the hood. Taking it, she held it in her hands and smiled at how nice the fabric felt, deciding to hold onto this until she got her new change of clothes. The last thing she picked up was a magic weapon, more specifically a bow without a quiver or arrows. Eira had seen this type of bow long ago back when she still "lived" with her parent's as her father had a bow similar to this one, except the one in Eira's hands was a dark brown with what appeared to be rune etchings along the side similar to those in the blade she had at her side after stealing it from her father. Once she had everything she potentially wanted, Eira waited patiently for the clothes, now watching everyone else in helpless curiosity in regards to what everyone else would be picking.

Roy followed the Avery alongside the rest of the group in hopes of learning more about the situation as well as the man's reason to discuss titans. Despite the mention of a test, Roy felt confident in his abilities due to his previous training as a paladin, and Avery's reassurance that the test wasn't hard also helped to lessen Roy's worries. As he thought, he passed through the castle and soon into the armory, which contained a multitude of weaponry, armor, and other useful entities for combat. Then, Roy heard the man speak orders for the group: "Alright, so you Hanaya and Sir Roy, you'll have a strength test..."

After hearing those words, Roy contemplated the test, and whether the man meant physical brute strength, or something else. Either way, he thought it best to wait for the man to explain the test, before commenting. For now, he let his eyes enjoy the varied view of weapons; however, he didn't desire to utilize any of the said tools, since he owned quite a plethora of equips himself. Hopefully, the man would test Roy on his best weapons and armor, rather than the ones Roy was unfamiliar with in the armory. Throughout Avery's tour, Roy kept close to the front, sometimes peering at the other members of the group, but never offering a word. He preferred to keep to himself, at least until he gathered additional information on the strangers that surrounded him.

As Avery then began to describe what trial she would be doing, Hananya's ears flattened in annoyance of having her name mispronounced. They could at least try! "It's 'Hananya.'" She grumbled before listening further. As she looked upon the armoury, the Kewan blinked her blue eyes several times, taking it all in.

Hananya was used to hunting with her own brute strength, claws and teeth but something told her that wouldn't get her far. She inhaled deeply, taking in all the scents of the room, including the humans that were with her. It wasn't musty or damp like she expected, they clearly cared about their craft. Hananya figured her own scent was not appealing to the humans, most likely resembling that of a wet dog.

She looked at the girl Eira as she seemed self conscious about what she was wearing. Hananya chuffed as she looked at her. "Hm. At least ye can fit in yer clothes." She tried to give the girl a small smile, not wanting her to take that as an offence. Though, she had a point. Her black breeches were ripped at her thighs and resembled shorts and the cloth around her chest was hardly long enough to cover her. Though having lived in the forest alone or so long, it felt weird being looked at by others. She couldn't let them know it bothered her though.

She turned to the armoury and started looking through it all. It was a hard choice. None of the pieces seemed fit for... well, a beast. Especially one at 9ft tall. She hummed as she looked through, finally finding something that could work. It was a back plate of some kind. Hananya had one of her own back at her cave, she wished she knew this would be happening or she would have brought it. Picking that she also chose some metal arm plates. As for a weapon... she wasn't sure. She simply chose one of the swords. It wasn't like she was going to succeed at this thing anyway...

Kai Takeshi
After a year of gone missing Kai walked through Wakefield he had a hoodie that kept him hidden from the towns folks eyes. Many of the men looked at Kai as if something was wrong with him. What was the issue though? Just a boy walking with his face covered, or so that's what he thought. His very presence alone gave off the wrong feeling as if looking at him gave even the bravest of men a chill down their back. Kai carried a sack over his shoulder, the clothe he used to covered his head was ripped and it seemed scuffed up. He walked to the nearest shop that sold fruits as he dropped some gold coins on the counter and took an apple. Raising the apple to his mouth he bit down onto it embracing everything about it. He hasn't eaten for a couple of days.

Noticing people walking off towards a crowd near close to the center of the town, peeked Kai's interest. Wondering after the people it had seemed as some of the Black Seraph's were taking volunteers to the castle. For what though? No matter Kai walked towards the crowd as people tried moving away from him for some reason. Kai looked at them, as they just starred back yet in a fearful manner. Shifting his sight towards the Black Seraph's he listened to what they had to say wondering if he should take part of it. He was one of those people who wouldn't mind King Richard to be dead or flop like a "fish". In all honesty Kai slightly has the urge to kill the man himself. Of course he wouldn't do that... yet. Kai had a plan and he needed the sir King Richard to continue doing what he's doing.
"People are here for what purpose? Half of them won't even volunteer." Kai stated with a rather cold tone of voice to himself.

Following those into the Armory he stayed in the back of the group not saying a word to those around him. Kai rather listen and gain information then say to much and get caught in his tracks for his mischievous schemes. He had no intention on making friends nor did he want to entertain anyone, but if showing off his skills was what he needed then so be it. Keeping his presence hidden so he doesn't attract any attention, or so he hopes.

Hearing the Kewan speaking to her took Eira by surprise, but she smiled kindly after hearing what the other said. There was a hint of sympathy in her eyes, but she quickly attempted to hide it away as she didn't want to make Hananya feel upset about someone pittying her possibly -even though that wasn't what Eira was going for.

Eventually Eira received her new change of clothes, which turned out to be black pants with a thin chain hooked around the belt loops and a simple grey t-shirt. They were pretty solid and bland looking, but Eira couldn't care less as she at least had some actual clothing -moving into a separate area where she could change in private. When she came back out in her new attire, she put on the mage robe she had found earlier along with her blade at her side, bow in hand, and mana potion in her other hand as well. Now that she was ready to go, Eira stood back and watched the others get ready for their own demonstrations.

Sir Roy II Fortesque
Castle Armory

Sir Avery Valencia
Castle Armory

Avery looked to the group. "This test will be simple. If you want to use magic, all you'll have to do is cast a spell that'll drain all your mana. That's your strongest spell. If it's strong enough to kill a human, you passed. If you're using strength, you'll be presented with weights. You lift a weight, then you increase. Rinse and repeat until you can't lift anymore. We'll record that weight. Next you'll punch a target. If the strength is enough to seriously injure a target, you're accepted. Simple, yes?"
Everyone was taken to the training grounds to receive their tests

Walking out onto the training grounds, Eira immediately moved over to one of the areas furthest away from people yet still in view of the ones assessing her test -not wanting to be too close to hurt someone with what she was about to show off for magic. She took the mana potion vial that she was provided and drank the entirety of it, feeling a sense of warmth pass through and spread throughout her body along with a burst of energy she hadn't felt in quite some time now. Once her mana was fully restored, Eira got into position about ten to fifteen feet away from a test dummy that she would be using her magic on; obviously not going to be attacking a real person unless they had a death wish. With a slow breath, Eira closed her eyes, calming and steadying herself before she got started.

When her eyes re-opened, they had a soft blue glow to them, frost dusting the corners of her eyes as she lifted and extended out her hand. Eira wasn't one to use staffs or wands when using magic as she tended to just use her hands -although she did use weapons from time to time that she could pour her magic into, but that was for another time. As she extended her hand, frost naturally built up around her feet, freezing the ground under her only to suddenly shoot out like a bullet and freeze the dummies feet in place -signalling that if it were a real person, they would be frozen to the ground, unable to move or run away from what was about to occur next. Only a second or two passed when three magic circles appeared to the left, right, and above the dummy, progressively starting to grow and spin quickly when a sudden barrage of ice shards shot out of circles -mowing down the target as easily as ripping a piece of wet paper. This went on for exactly a minute and was quite loud until Eira had to stop, breathing heavily and looking about as tired as she had earlier that day as her mana was back down to zero per the instructions by Avery. Bits of dust, dirt, and frost had kicked up into the air surrounding the dummy's location when her magic had been activated; slowly dispersing to reveal what was barely left of the dummy itself as well as quite a few holes -more like small craters- in the ground from where the stray ice shards had missed...which were quite a lot judging by the looks of things. Then again, the attack was meant to be spread out like that in order to take out multiple targets or a larger target, not for just one person, yet after that attack, she hoped that was enough for the Black Seraphs to accept her and allow her to join them in their ventures to find and defeat the Titans.

Sir Avery Valencia
Training Ground

Avery looked on approvingly. Her homeless looks were certainly deceiving, as that spell ravaged the ground around the target along with the target itself. "Fantastic," he said, still sort of stunned by the display from someone who didn't look all that formally trained. He had a big grin on, one that only really came about when he was in an incredibly good mood. "You've shown quite enough skill in the Ice Arts to be of great contribution to the Grand Campaign. A spell like that would be of great use against a large group of enemies. You don't seem to be someone who's a trained warrior, so you'll be of best use to the group in the middle. You will be behind the Vanguard. I hope to work well with someone like you. Just make sure to armor up, yes?"

King
Castle Balcony
The trumpets started sounding again. It was noon and time for the proclamation. The king walked out to the balcony to the loud applause and cheer of the people.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!! Subjects of the country of Ishrion, after a long and painful process, lots of soul searching, and thinking back on how my actions have affected this kingdom, I have come to a conclusion..........I do not deserve to serve the people of this great country as the king, so I have decided to step down." Dead silence. Not a single person expected this sort of announcement. "I know, it's a lot to take in. Some of you are happy, some sad, some of you don't care. However, before I step down, I've decided to do one last thing for this kingdom: I have planned extensively for the Grand Campaign, gathering the best of the best warriors from amongst my Guardian and Secret Service, as well as my soldiers and skillful volunteers from the subjects of this country............all to find these Titans and do what we need to do as a country to take these Titans down and restore the Magic to the world and apologize to the Ancient Gods for disturbing their peaceful slumber." The King was amazingly regretful and he spoke with a sobering solemn regretful tone. His voice was booming over the entire town and not a single person spoke over the King's proclamation.

"Led by my best warrior, Sir Avery Valencia who's currently in recruiting the volunteers and escorting the skillfully beautiful Ashlynn to sense the Sigils to release the Titans, We will set out very soon to find them. The path is dangerous, both to neighboring cities, caves, deserts, forest, and wherever else may contain dangerous creatures or Titans, but I'm faithful in the leader of the Black Seraphs can do what he do best and serve and protect the citizens of this good country. We will receive regular updates from Avery and his team of warriors and mages as they complete the task at hand. We will set off soon to pursue the Nature Titan, who's Essence will allow Druids, Sages, and Gardners to use their Nature magic to get our Agriculture Industry back on track."

Kai Takeshi
Kai watched the girl show off her skills as he nodded slightly in aw. The showcase was quite brutal yet well organized, all he could do is stay quiet though as she was the first to show off. He wanted to see everyone's capability when it came to magic. Kai kept the hood over his face as he stayed hidden. "So it seems you're tough." Kai stated that to himself as he watched the silver head, for some reason she gave him a small feeling that he hasn't felt in a long time, the way she moved gave him that feeling on wanting to fight her and strike her down.

Looking over at Sir Avery Valencia he heard the guys comments about the girl, he thought to himself if the guy would allow Kai be teamed up with her. Kai also got intrigued by the girl.

Ashlynn had stood beside the king the entire time during the speech. The announcement for him to step down surprised her, but she hoped the new king would keep the trade between kingdoms. She was actually excited to kill the nature Titan. With its magic returned to the world, her people would be able to thrive and spread once again. After the announcement, she took the king aside. "My king... Do you even have a predecessor? If you can't pass the stick down to someone then the kingdom will be in ruins." she said a bit worried. She did not want to see anything bad happen here, as she did like the seraphs. "And if you tell me it is one of those damn paladins you are signing the kingdoms death contract." she said seriously.
