Three's a Crowd

Atticus smiled at her words. It was really, really comforting to hear. And to finally hear it mean the same way that he meant it, not in a botherly way, made it all the better.

He watched as she sat up, curious to know her next move. He put his hand on the side of her leg as she leaned down to kiss him before kissing her back. It took him a little bit by surprise but it was a good surprise.

He looked back up at her and smiled,"Take the lead," He insisted softly. It was nice to have her do it for once. He was always the one in control, of pretty much everything in his life, so to have someone else making the moves was really refreshing and nice.

Evangel grinned and moved so that she was straddling him before leaning down and kissing him again, a bit harder this time.

She placed one hand on his waist and the other on his chest, moving both a little to feel his abs and such. Just touching him gave her a rush.

Eva was never the one to be in charge in these sorts of situations. Or any situation for that matter. But she kind of liked it. She was typically that quiet, submissive girl but this whole taking charge thing was turning her on a little.

Atticus took in a breath and exhaled it outwardly, just because, as he watched the show that was playing on the TV. Eva had absolutely insisted that they watch whatever reality show was playing tonight. Luckily, it was almost over. Atticus didn't hate it but he definitely didn't see the point in it. Anyone could walk around, have money, and cause a bunch of unnecessary problems with their "friends". So why did these people get chosen?

He looked over at Eva and kissed her forehead gently before looking back towards the TV. It was getting late, and neither of them had gotten up yet to put any clothes on, but he didn't have any intentions of leaving since her parents were out of town so he didn't really care either.

Evangel groaned in protest as the tv show ended. She reached over to grab the remote and turn off the tv. She reached out for Atticus's hand and squeezed it gently.

For a moment, Eva just looked over at him before taking in a huge breath.
"Alright Atticus. I want to go do something. But something you like to do." She exclaimed, a smile forming on her lips.

She shifted positions so that she could face him. Her thumb gently rubbed against his hand as she awaited his response to her request.

Atticus chuckled softly, listening to Eva moan.

He raised an eyebrow at her question and looked in her direction. "Something I like to do?" He repeated and then narrowed his eyes at her,"Is this a trick question?"

Was she testing him or something? He knew Eva and he knew that she would never in a million years be into what he was into. That was for sure. No questions asked. She hated what he did, although she'd never really admit it outloud. He knew it.

Evangel nodded, closing her eyes for a moment. "Yes. Something you'd like to do. Please? We always do what I want and I feel bad and I just... I dunno..." She glanced at the wall for a second.

"If this is to... You know, go farther, I'd like to get to know your friends and all of that." She replied with a cheerful grin. Eva lifted his hand and kissed the fingertips while still looking at Atticus with large, pleading brown eyes.

Atticus wasn't too sure about it. I mean, hell, look at what happened with the last party he went to. He ended up arrested and had basically run away. He supposed that if he just took her around his friends though.. Even still. They could get pretty rowdy.

She seemed pretty excited about the idea though and those puppy dog eyes were hard to resist so he sighed. "You're serious... You really want to go? I do like, bad things, Eva," He told her with a little bit of a laugh,"Like drinking and hardcore drugs. You really want to see that world?" He didn't see why she would but if she really really wanted to, he guess that it wouldn't hurt just to bring her.

Evangel frowned thoughtfully. Yeah, it was a risk, but she did want to get to know him better. And she wasn't scared of how he would act intoxicated or whichever like she was around Jace.

With a shrug, she nodded carefully.
"I just want to get to know all sides of you, Atticus. C'mon, I can handle myself." She let go of his hand and slid out of bed. Usually she would try and cover herself up but it was just the two of them.

Eva padded over to her closet and looked at some clothes to wear. She was completely aware of her exposure but it was beginning to not bother her.
"What do I wear?"

Atticus sighed softly, seeing that Eva had no intentions of giving up. Maybe a night with his friends would be nice anyways. His nerves were still a little on end. He pushed himself so that he was sitting up and bed and ran a hand through his messy hair as he watched her walk over to her closet.

"Anything?" He answered,"They won't care. Probably something you won't mind getting something spilled on.."

While she looked for something to wear, he leaned over to he nightstand and grabbed his phone to text his friends to see if there was anything going on tonight. There probably was. It was a Saturday after all.

Evangel bent down to grab a pair of cut off shorts that weren't too revealing but she still thought they looked good on her. She found a pair of underwear and a bra and slipped it all on.

Eva shirtlessly walked back over to Atticus and grabbed his hand to pull him up. The girl wrapped her arms around him and leaned against his chest.
"I love you. I'm sorry this was so sudden I just... Don't want you to get bored of doing the things I like. I'm not going to turn into Jace and be all controlling."

She then turned back to her closet and grabbed a black t shirt and sandals. "Ready when you are."

Atticus watched as the replies came back, all informing him that all of them were hanging out at Ben's place because his parents were out of town. It was only the ten or so guys that usually went so that would work out just fine. He put his phone down and looked over at Eva as she walked in his direction. He chuckled and made his way out of the bed, completely nude.

He wrapped his arms around her shoulders and leaned down to kiss the top of her head. "I'll never get bored of you, Eva," He assured her. It was kind of nice hear that she wouldn't get all mad at him for doing whatever he did. He didn't plan on doing much at all tonight though.

He let go of her and began to get dressed again in the clothes that he'd worn over to her house which were a pair of shorts, a white t-shirt, and a black jacket; his usual. "Let me just get my things and then we can go," He told her as he began to gather up his belongings.

"Do you want to come back here tonight or your place? If your parents are still pissed you're welcome to come stay with me." Evangel suggested, smirking a little.

She had to admit, she really enjoyed spending the nights with Atticus. It made her feel a lot safer and protected than if she were to stay alone in her somewhat large house.

Eva walked over to her vanity and braided a few pieces of hair on one side of her head and pinned them back. She applied a bit of makeup and turned back to Atticus.

"Honestly, we'll probably end up back here," He told her with a grin, looking back in her direction. He liked being able to be with her. At least when his parents weren't really interested in him, she could come over whenever she wanted.

Once he was dressed and had his things, he sat down on her bed and watched as she did her hair and makeup. "Everyone is hanging out at my friend Ben's house, so I figured we could just go over there and hang out," He informed her with a grin.

He stood up when she turned to face him and held his hand to her, ready to get a move on.

Evangel smiled and took Atticus's hand. She led him out to her white little VW and slid into the drivers seat.

"Kay I need directions." She glanced over at him with a cheeky grin. Her car seats were thankfully cream colored so they didn't get too hot in the sun.

Atticus walked out with Eva to the car and got in the passengers seat.

He grinned and began to give her directions to Ben's house. It was maybe a ten minute drive so it really wasn't too bad. He lived in a pretty nice neighborhood too. It wasn't anything sketchy like where he'd been a few nights ago.

As they pulled up to Ben's, Evangel took in a big breath and turned to smile at Atticus. She was a little nervous, to be honest. She hadn't quite decided if she was actually going to try anything or not.

Eva slipped out of her car and walked around to his side.
"After you dearest. And don't think cause I'm here you can't have fun okay?" She wanted him to enjoy himself and not constantly be worrying about her. She could handle herself.

Atticus got out of the car and looked over at Eva with a little grin. "I know. It'll be good. But if you really want to leave, tell me, alright?" He told her, not wanting her to feel like she couldn't.

He grabbed a hold of her hand and walked up to Ben's door where he let himself in. "Hey guys," He called out before closing the door behind Eva. He walked with her to the living room where everyone was hanging out and smiled when they all greeted him and Eva. Most of them knew her considering they had been friends for like... Ever.

Evangel smiled at all the faces, waving and saying hi to those she knew. She followed close by Atticus as he milled about. She wasn't entirely sure what to do and she'd never been the openly social type.

"What... Do I do?" She whispered to him as she glanced about. There was open and yet to be opened alcohol bottles on a table and also some other things she wasn't quite sure what they were.

She'd never done drugs or smoked and the first time she ever drank was at the bonfire, so Eva was probably going to be one of the only sober people at the place. But you never know.

Atticus made his way to the kitchen with one of his friends, making sure that Eva followed as well. He nodded a little bit when his friend explained where everything was and then looked over at Eva when she whispered to him. He chuckled, finding it adorable.

"Whatever you want," He whispered back playfully. He leaned down and kissed her cheek, then grabbed himself a cup and started to mix himself a drink. He hated straight hard liquor but a little soda would probably help that. "Do you want one? I'll just put a little alcohol in it if you do," He offered, not knowing how she felt about it. If she planned on being the one driving, it probably wouldn't be a good idea.

Evangel made a face as he kissed her cheek, teasing him. She laughed softly and wrapped her arms around his waist as he made himself a drink.

She considered his offer and shrugged. Why not.
"Just a little bit.. Like barely any." She said quietly so no one would overhear. She didn't want to be judged for her lack of liking alcohol, and she wasn't sure how she would feel about a ton of hard liquor anyways.

Eva grinned as she tightened her arms a bit and then released so she could stand beside Atticus. His friends were pretty laid back and she liked that.

Atticus nodded a little bit at her order and after making his own, put just a tiny but in Eva's. It was just enough to cover the bottom and then he filled the rest up with some Coke.

"Your drink, my love," He told her playfully as he handed it over to her, he took his own, then took her hand and they moved back in the direction of the guys who were all hanging out in the living room. He plopped down on the couch and pulled Eva down beside him so that she was sitting on the outside. He took a drink from his cup, then watched as the guys began to roll up some joints.

He leaned back and put an arm around Eva, just relaxing. It was nice to be back with them all.

Evangel leaned her head against Atticus's shoulder and sort of cuddled against him, drink in hand. She took a sip and to her surprise, she kind of liked it. There was barely any alcohol, but just enough to wear she got a small taste.

She watched carefully as some of his friends brought out some drugs, but it didn't bother her. If she were alone it might, but she knew that Atticus wouldn't let anything get too out of hand with Eva sitting right next to him.

Atticus took a casual drink from his cup. He knew that this was only the beginning of the night and things would only get more rowdy from here. It always did, even when it was just the few of them.

He watched as his friend lit up, then took a puff and passed it, par usual. When it got to him, he glanced over at Eva before taking a hit. A few wouldn't hurt. Right?.. He took a hit, then handed it in Eva's direction with a raised eyebrow, wondering what she was interested in doing tonight.

He held the smoke in his lungs for a few seconds then let it out casually in the direction opposite of her.

Evangel felt nervous as they passed it around. Should she try it? As it got to Atticus, her nerves grew worse.

"Umm.." She took a hold of it and looked at Atticus curiously. He let out the smoke and glanced to her.

Eva had absolutely no idea what to do, but she was up for trying it. Maybe.
"I... Don't know what to do with this" she stated lamely.

Atticus chuckled softly, listening to Eva.

"You don't have to if you don't want," He stated firstly,"But you just.. Inhale, basically. And try and keep it in your lungs. It'll probably burn because your not use to it and you'll probably just end up coughing but.."

He doubted any of the other guys cared. They were all already high. He could tell that they'd been having fun before they showed up.
