Futuristic Those That are Hunted

(Lol sour cream? Do you mean whipped cream because sour cream is something you put on potatoes and stuff here.)

"Can you blame us? It's tasty." She got up and followed him to the living room. Taking a seat next to him she took the box of strawberries and put it in her lap, eating it. "Don't get too comfortable babe. We need to head out tonight. Don't want to leave Xander hanging too long no matter what we said. Also if you don't take some now it will be gone before you known it." She said and took another bite.

"Not such a big fan of strawberries. Eat as much as you like." he kisses her neck and leans onto her shoulder, simply enjoying her company and the peaceful time that would soon end. "You're right. We've got work to do. If we stay longer it will get suspicious... Are you using me as your personal transportation again?" he looks up at her and gives her the puppy eyes look.

"More for me." When he kissed her neck she froze. For some reason the action surprised her. ~I'm going to have to get used to that.~ After a moment she relaxed her body and looked down at him with a small smile on her lips "Only if you're ok with it. I'm sure we can find a taxi if not. After all this city hasn't been completely destroyed." At that Amelie saw her watch flash but the name wasn't someone she recognized. She opened the message.

Ems,

I was able to spot those rebels you where talking about before. They are currently leaving town. I would leave soon if you want to catch them.

-A

"So that's what he was doing all night." She mumbled

"I'm more than okay with that." as her watch flashes Vulcan lifts up his head to look at the message as well. "Of course they'll be leaving town. But even if we use a space rocket we won't be able to catch up. We need to get back to Xander and regroup, think of a plan. They are sure to go back to the cave to grab some things before heading for the new hideout, wherever it is. As I said, I can track them from there." he sighs and stands up from the sofa, stretching his legs, arms and back. This would be a long run and he had to make sure he doesn't get a cramp halfway through. "Ready when you are."

Hayden snapped out, finally the flashes and whispers were gone. Was he going insane? His ears went numb and ringing he hardly heard what Kytha said. He exit the car, breathing heavily. Then, his eyes blurred, darkness covered the world. He collapsed, right in front of Kytha. The dead bodies tried to shield Hayden from the impact to the ground, but still, his head began to bleed.

He bolted and jolted until he got control of his own body, quickly pushing himself up from his own collapse to come back and see... Kytha? Where's Kytha? He thought. Hayden swayed his head left and right: no dead bodies, no car, no parking lot? Where am I? As his vision began to clear, and his mind began to understand, he might have been in a dream. The world... was twisted.

( pretty sure you guys know what game this is lol xD )

He began to walk, as if he was following something. He even felt like he could fly... wait... teleport? He continued his pace, and as he walked closer and closer to something, he felt his powers getting stronger. He ended up standing by the edge of the broken world. Nothing. Wait a second... an image began to appear.

As the figure formed, he began to notice it was... no... this can't be... "Father?!" He exclaimed, both excitement and confusion clashed inside of him. His father smirked, then stretched his arms wide to hug his son. "I'm glad to see you, Hayden... in this place." His father said. "What is this place?" Hayden replied.

"This, is what I... no... we... call Ragnavir." Hayden's dad answered. "We?" Hayden asked. "Ah, I guess I forgot to tell you the legends of your great great great grandfather, while I was still living." Dad replied. "What legends?" Hayden again asked.

"Centuries ago, our ancestors believed that the Pierce bloodline was always a great and important family blood in this world. Wherever we go, whoever we serve, whatever we do, we are legendary in all things. They believed that it was a gift from the gods, a reward to their humility. But one ancestor, believed that dead men tell no tales. His name was, Hayden Pierce. Yes, we named you after him. He too, had powers like yours... like a vampire. And because of that he had to keep it a secret, even from his own bloodline. But he was not greedy of this power, no. He wanted to share this power all through out our bloodline. So, he made a deal with Death himself, that all who belonged to the Pierce bloodline would be sent here, rather than into Death's land of souls. This is how Ragnavir was made. When Hayden died, his son did not know of Ragnavir. So he let his son enter Ragnavir while he was still alive, so that Hayden's son may inherit his father's powers and spread the legend of the Ragnavir to the Pierce bloodlines. And now, now that I'm dead, my job is to take you to Ragnavir and explain this to you when the time is right. Just like what my father had done when he died." His father finished as he now began to fade. Yet before he did, Hayden heard a whisper, "Try following me, and you too, will unlock Ragnavir's secrets."

Hayden felt a thud in his chest, like as if he acquired a new skill. He kept his eyes on his Father, who seemed to be teleporting from platform to platform. So, he focused on a specific ground, and not after a mere second, a trail of scarlet glow began to appear as he felt himself shattering into pieces of shards and reforming again on the ground he focused on. "I think I'm going to like this..." He saw his father appearing again, "I'll see next time, son... goodbye." He said as he again faded away.

(I'll post the next part in Ragnavir later, also I'll post all my fully acquired powers, and Ragnavir literally translates to "Family" in Skyrim's dragon tongue. lol.)

( Haha I won't )

After minutes of training his newly found ability, teleporting from edge to edge in Ragnavir, he had almost forgot he wasn't in the real world. As much as he really wanted to enjoy staying in Ragnavir, it wasn't his time yet. Plus, there was actually a girl who cared for Hayden in the real dimension.

While searching for his father, he had opened his mind for a train of thoughts and questions. "So this is Ragnavir, a place for the Pierce. Created by my great great great grandfather who, I just realized, was the origin of my name, Hayden. I should be named Hayden II, but they didn't. For the sake of this Pierce legend thing. Am I really the last Pierce in the world? How did they know I had vampiric powers and named me after my vampire ancestor? Damn this, there's a lot I should know about." He whispered to himself, until his father came out of nowhere, "Yes, there really is a lot you should know about, Hayden. Like the part when your friend Vulcan actually had a deal with Death, too." His father replied.

"Wait, you know him?" Hayden whipped his head furiously at his father, "Dad! Tell me every single detail that you know about!" He shouted angrily. His father's eyes narrowed, "Don't you dare speak to me like that, boy! Have you not remembered anything I taught you?! What was the code of Pierce?!" His father exclaimed back. Ah yes, the code of Pierce, forgot about that. "Never to answer back nor intimidate a Pierce..." He said, now with a soft tone. "Yes, you really shouldn't. You'll be an honored Pierce some day, Hayden. Then everybody would fear you... but not now." His father replied.

His father looked crossed his arms, then walked towards the edge, only to stare down at a bottomless pit. "This is Ragnavir, a place where the beginning ended, and where the end began, the Alpha and Omega. All of us here know everything, from what had come, and what has to come, and what will come. And I also know you have feelings for Kytha." At the name, Kytha. Hayden flinched and had almost blushed. His father just chuckled and continued, "I do not have the right to tell you what I know, neither do I actually want to do it. But I'll tell you one thing..."

Hayden looked at his dad, eager to know more. "There is a theory called, The Quantum Ignition, created by another ancestor, Tyd Pierce. Tyd was a smart and wise man, although he didn't inherit the vampire gift, he did have a wide and curious mind, that led to the theory of the Quantum Ignition, and it states that: When time will stop, and the world shall crack, the Quantum Ignition, released from chains, will bend time and space to its liking. When the last of the Pierce bloodline shall light the fires of the vampire. When the world of unseen shall be made seen, when Death creates an agreement with a wolf, to hunt down the last Pierce." His father stopped, "That's all I have to tell you."

Hayden was shocked, "I'm the last one? Aren't I?" He asked. "Yes, you are. And Vulcan is about to hunt you down. That's the Quantum Ignition right there. Now, Hayden, your vampire ancestor will meet you shortly, and unlock the gifts inside of you, we already know the fate of this world, but we don't know a Pierce's. You control your own, Hayden..." His father replied. "Follow the lanterns, it'll lead you to our... ehh... club." His father added as he again faded away with a smirk.

He followed the lights, that lead to a gate, with a golden plate that had a carving: "Pierce". Hayden tried to open the gate, but it was locked. Out in the distant, inside the gate, the world wasn't broken anymore, the ground was actually connected and stable, rather than the flying debris he saw before, and there was no bottomless pit to be seen. This was the Pierce paradise. Hayden shook the lock, trying to gain some attention. Then, a big, muscular guard walked towards him to open the gate. Although this guard wasn't like an ordinary security agent from malls or facilities, this guard... looked weird. The guard wore... Roman armor? Instead of a flashlight and a gun, he had a sword and a shield. The guard's eyes widened in surprise, "Hey! It's the Last Pierce! Haha!" He exclaimed, as more of them began to appear. One had Barbarian clothes, and one came straight from George Washington's army.

The gate opened, allowing the Roman guard to pat Hayden in the back, "Welcome, lad." He said. "You guys, are my ancestors?" Hayden asked. The Barbarian guy laughed so hard and pointed at Hayden, "That's a good answer, boy!" He laughed again, while the George Washington soldier had a smile on his face and clapped. "Clavvy Pierce, at your service, fellow Pierce." The Roman introduced. "Me name is, Bardus Pierce, boy!" The Barbarian said. "Tidis Pierce, ser." The soldier said. Hayden smiled at his ancestors, "My name is---" Hayden's introduction was cut off when Bardus waved his had, "Oh we already know you, Hayden! Everybody does!" He said. Hayden kept his smile and continued to enter the Paradise. He saw Clavvy close and lock the gate again, while Bardus and Tidis waved goodbye at him, then went back to their watch post.

It looked like a village, or a city, or just buildings from different eras and timelines. Hayden saw a tavern and entered as more Pierce ancestors raised a mug to his name. "Umm, I'm looking for Hayden Pierce, the vampire one..." Hayden announced. "Then, you're looking for me, Pierce." A man rose up from a table while playing cards and escorted Hayden away from the tavern. They walked into the center of a plaza, then, Hayden Pierce issued an announcer, to announce that it was time. The announcer ran quickly and exclaimed, "It's time!"

Not more than 5 minutes, the plaza was filled with all Hayden's ancestors. All were smiling and cheering, until the old Hayden raised his hand for silence, then began to speak, "I, Hayden Pierce, vow to serve, protect, and give my all to my son's son of my son's son and son of sons of my son. The Last Pierce, to go with him in every decision he makes." He said this while a wave of energy began transmitting from old Hayden to young Hayden. Then, all the other Pierces raised their hands towards Hayden, "Go back to your world, and do what you bid, Pierce." His father said.

The sound was like a shriek, Hayden opened his eyes widely and jumped to his feet, he was back with Kytha in the real world. But he will never forget the service all his ancestors had done.

Kytha saw him exit and pushed at her door. She knelt down to the ground and began gagging. A small cry coming from that shattered heart as the man she cared for tried to choke and kill her. Eventually a small amount of throw up flowed from her mouth. Another minute of whimpering and she stood up to get back in the car when she realized Hayden couldn't be seen. As the slim figure walked around the car she screamed out when she saw his still body. "Hayden!!" She flopped down next to him and tried to wake him she shook him but no movement came to fulfill the feeble attempt. She cried though continued to shake his seemingly fractured soul. "Hayden please! I need you come back please!!!" Hollering though crying at the same time she fell back leaning against the car and sobbed into her knees.

He jumped up quickly and she followed him hugging him tightly "Hayden. I thought you were dead..." She sobbed. "Don't every leave me like that again!"

( Lol, thanks! xD )

Hayden hugged her back, "I'm sorry for everything." He said. Hayden wanted to say more, but he was still catching his breath. He scanned the area, a straw of lights began to appear from across the alleys and streets, then Hayden started hearing the sound of engines. "The gov's back..." Hayden said, as he quickly rushed up to find cover. He scanned the area, it was full of bodies, yes, that was it, bodies. "Quickly, Kytha... play dead." Hayden ordered. She mentioned that she didn't mind the stench of the dead, so Hayden sees no reason why Kytha shouldn't like the plan.

The government seemed to be back to pick up the dead bodies, all of the corpses. Before the convoy of medic trucks arrived to the Inn, Hayden had already stacked himself up together with the dead bodies, literally laying down with them, some bodies were even on top of Hayden. He kept his eyes open, staring at the medical squadron. One soldier broke down and threw up. Then, another soldier knelt down to say a prayer, "Lord, we pray for the spirits of the innocent to rest in your Paradise, Father. Amen." All the soldiers joined him in prayer, "Forgive them of all their sins, and we also thank you Father for our safety and guidance away from the dangers of our vampiric enemy, who once was our good friend, Hayden Pierce. Please, Father, forgive him of all he's done, we ask that you may light up his mind and cure him from his hatred, or if not, smite him down with Justice. We also ask that we may live another day to see again our families and loved ones. All these we pray and leave unto you, Lord. Amen." The leading prayer finished as the others responded, "Amen." Hayden heard all the things they said.

"It's ok." She said in a monotone voice. She listened to Hayden's commands but pulled him back before he went. "I don't like this idea. If they find us and were alive they will kill us or take us in." A hushed yet worried voice escaping her throat. She let go of him and he ran to a pile of bodies. She took her eyes off of him and scanned the area. The best place to hide was right next to her. She laid down and rolled under the car. "Good god Hayden I hope this works.

(ok they all know what Hayden looks like so he can't really hide form them.)

Amelie stood up with him. "Just a moment." She walked out of the living room and headed to her brother's room. Before she could knock Amelie heard talking. She never knew Alec actually talked to the ghosts he saw. "That Agent they are after. He glows like a shining star. It's so bright I can barely look at him." Amelie's hand dropped back to her side. Who is he talking to? "I don't know what to do. She's going to get her self killed out there and then everything we did would be for nothing." There was a pause like he was listening. "I know dad," DAD?! It took every ounce of will power she had to not burst through the door. "but I don't think I can live if she dies too." Amelie could hear sobbing and closed her eyes. Her brother meant everything to her but she couldn't let Hayden roam free. He already had murder hundreds of people. Opening her eyes again she slowly backed away from the door and back to Vulcan. "I'm ready."

"Won't you say goodbye to him?" Vulcan was leaning against a wall, arms crossed on his chest, looking at her sternly. "He's right. We are probably going on a suicide mission here." He had overheard the conversation with the ghost, who turned out to actually be their father, even if he didn't want to. "What's up with that ghost? If he's still roaming the living world then something's wrong. He's got to finish something he wasn't able to do while he was alive. You should speak to your brother about this... or I will."

"I will not let Hayden be aloud to roam free. When his emotions get out of control he kills people. Hundreds at a time." She glared at him and clenched her fists. "And you shouldn't interfere with something that isn't any of your business." A felt a growl emit from her throat and ice form on her fists. "Let's just go. We are loosing time standing here." She headed for the door.

She was right, as always. They had no time to spare and perhaps this wasn't his business after all. It was a family matter. "Fine." It was never a good idea to stand in Amelies way and Vulcan had experienced her anger multiple times already. He simply follows her out, slowly closing the door behind his back, then starts walking towards the forest. He couldn't shift out in the open. "We won't use the same way we came here. Wherever we go we leave our scent behind and our two shifters can track it. I prefer not to take the risk of an ambush." Then he turns and bows for Amelie to get on.

The ice on Amelie's hands melted away when she heard him following behind her. She felt relief wash over her. She really didn't want to talk about what she had just heard. As they were walking Amelie felt kind of bad for the way she had acted towards him. She waited till he shifted to talk. "I'm sorry Vulcan. I don't mean to act like that. I just...I just didn't want to admit something was wrong." She got on his back and gripped his fur. "Let's hurry."

He stood back on his feet and first began sniffing the ground to find their old way, ignoring the stench from the now rotting meat and skin that he had left there a few hours back, then starts running in an wide angle around the path. But even if he was running as fast as he could they were going quite slower than before, mainly because of the lack of a leveled road and obstacles like rocks, fallen trees and slopes. Vulcan snorts angrily. "This is taking too long. I'm gonna try something." He climbs over a large rock and stops there, looking around for a moment to really make sure there was no one around, then clenches his eyes "This better work" After only a few moments he feels the muster glowing up over his skin and fur, a dark red mist swirling around his legs, his leg muscles getting stronger, his breath slowed, paws burning with excitement as if they simply wanted to run off. He opens his eyes again - glowing red instead of their usual yellow color, bending his hind legs only to use them like a spring of a toy, releasing it to make a huge leap from the rock, followed by a breakneck speed sprint. "Now that's much better." Only a few minutes later they started seeing the outlines of the skyscrapers. They were home. Only now does he slow down, the muster slowly disappearing, along with the mist, his eyes returning to their normal coloration. As they could see Lucky Inn in the far distance, or what was left of it after Haydens actions anyways, Vulcan quickly enters an alley and shifts back human, holding Amelie in his arms and letting her back on the ground again as he notices what he was doing. "Welcome home." there was obvious irony in his voice "We should call Xander to let him know we are back in the city."

When he started moving, Amelie had to readjust herself as to not fall off. He was right, at the pace they where going they weren't going to get there in time at all. All the sudden she saw the red mist form and gripped his fur even tighter. She had no idea what was going on. "Just don't get me killed." All the sudden she could feel the muscles in his body move as he leaped, if that didn't terrify her the speed did. Within minutes, but what felt like forever to her, the city came into view. Home sweet home. If Hayden hadn't destroyed half the town she felt, at some point in her life, she would live here. It wasn't far from where her brother lived and it was a nice area. Currently she lived in northern Illinois. To her the winters where beautiful. If she said that to anyone that didn't know her they'd think she was crazy. The summers where absolutely beautiful. As they went through the streets she saw that a lot of the bodies had been picked up. Suddenly she felt him start to shift and was in his arms. Just as fast her put her down. "He is probably as anxious as I am to get Hayden caught." Pulling out her phone she dialed Xander's number. "We are back in town and have leads to follow. Are you ready?"

The medics kept closing in, after a few minutes, they had already picked around 50 bodies. Hayden knew these soldiers would find him, and that was a part of his plan. He heard a soldier's footsteps nearing him, he could even see the streak coming from his flashlight. He was almost stepped on the face by the soldier, fortunately, the soldier recognized that Hayden's body wasn't as bloody as the others. While the soldier slowly moved his flashlight towards Hayden's face, Hayden readied his fists. And as the light had finally focused on his face, the guard's eyes shot with fear, "HAYDEN!!!" The guard screamed as he tried to escape. Before Hayden could strike him down, he remembered the prayer before. These guys care for me. His hand grabbed the soldier's neck and punched him so hard with a blood-charged fist that he went flying away. And through Hayden's mercy, he was only unconscious, not dead.

The guards turned quickly to face Hayden with their guns readied to fire. He stood up, but his hands were up for a forfeit. "This is not your fight." Hayden said. One guard aimed with his scope, "Believe me, Pierce, it is." Hayden smiled, "What about that little prayer you said just a few minutes, ago?" He asked. The guards were speechless, this was Hayden's chance. He closed his fist and raised it over the air, it quickly glowed red so bright, the guards' eyes did glow scarlet red too. And inside their minds, Hayden did enter and terrify them with the worst nightmares. One guard fell down in trauma and the others ran in fear.

Simply watched all the speechless body could do was watch. She had never seen Hayden do this before. She jumped out from her hiding place and a dragon was now her body. Her little companion rested on her shoulder. She lifted into the air. "Lets see what I can do in this thing." She mumbled to herself.

Flying around effortlessly was only the beginning. She got ready to fire her first power and her horns glowed a bright aqua colour as did a strip along her nose which Peres like a fork and went towards her nostrils which now also glowed. Her claws had a blue tint in them and she had a spiral that led up her legs and flowed onto her back. Her neck followed the pattern and her tail doubled the spirals on her legs. Her eyes also changed to a fire-blue colour.

Her mouth opened to reveal a blue tongue. She then let out her powerful ability. A thick black cloud covered the ground and flowed to an outer circle that herded a few of the guards in. It closed until they were in a compact clump. She flew down and landed on her creation. -Hmm it's able to be walked through yet I can land on it. Interesting- she growled at the group of agents and let out a magnificent roar as she waited for Hayden.

Drake had been... searching for quite some time now, his armor's power draining step by step. He looked around, and sat down, almost ignoring the sound of... humans nearby. He got up, and started to walk, slower than usual, finding several agents fighting... people. Or so he thought. Breathing heavily, and not thinking clearly, he charged, even if it would kill him. Several of the agents had ran away... and he started to see... images.

His worst fears... seeing innocents dying by his hand. He wanted to stop, but he couldn't. And he wouldn't let it happen.

He shook his fears off, and started to walk toward the two,

(I'm lost too lol and again your 'suit' wouldnt be able to track us if that's what you meant by its power draining if not just making sure :) )

Hayden watched Kytha turn into the mythical drake, again. As the dragon let out a smoke, he continued to rush towards to Vulcan and Amelie who noticed had been in the distance. "You're back!" He exclaimed, as he readied his blood fist. Suddenly, his Pierce ancestral came out and turned into a demon like vampire, "Hayden, I got this, Vulcan is a representative of Death. Be careful." The Pierce demon said. "What?" Hayden asked.

"Death! Show yourself!" The Pierce ancestral ordered towards Vulcan.
