Verena
Devil woman
(I'll edit those two posts then. And, OMG, Hayden, leave us be for a couple of days. Amelie is a sitting duck.)
It was early in the morning when Vulcan finally began to wake up. First his fingers started twitching, then his shoulders. When he finally opened his eyes he immediately had to curl up, holding on to his head. The hangover was overwhelming. His body was still hurting from the fight last night but there seemed to be nothing broken. Vulcan knew how to take a hit, this wasn't his first beating, and the suit offered him an additional protection as well. When his vision started to clear he pulled himself up. He needed to get back to Amelie. Vulcan trusted her that she wouldn't betray him and send a squat after him but that didn't mean he could simply misuse her kindness. The club wasn't far from the inn but it was always harder to find your way in a state of hangover. He had to lean on nearby walls a couple of times before finally getting to the hotel. Vulcan imagined that Amelie must have been moved to another room after he broke the door off its hinges, so he went to the reception to ask.
"Yes, Ms. Glass has been transferred to the room next by after the accident with your... dog. So you know, sir. We don't really allow pets in our hotel."
"Will that change your mind." He handed him his credit card. Vulcan couldn't believe he hasn't been robbed. His gangster reputation was still strong it seemed. That was good.
After the receptionist had written the property damage and the bribe to his account Vulcan climbed the stairs and after hesitating for a moment carefully knocked on door 210. His muscles were tense, he was ready to jump out of the way of any flying bullet or icicle. He dearly hoped it wouldn't come to this.
