Futuristic Those That are Hunted

Piper rolled her right eye at Vulcan's dragon comment and then muttered under her breath, "I could care less what that girl thinks. She let him do all of those monstrosities and defended him." Still, Piper couldn't bring hersef to get in Kytha's face right now. Bad person or not, she was mourning and Piper couldn't stop her from doing that. Hearing the mention of the medical bay, Piper nodded, as that sounded brilliant right now. When Vulcan offered his hand to help her, Piper stubbornly huffed with annoyance at this and turned on her heel to walk herself to the medical bay. Yet, once she took a step, Piper began to stumble forward, her head reeling with a throbbing headache, no doubt from head butting the dome, and sheer exhaustion from everything she'd just done without sleeping for at least one night.

Vulcan pulled his hand back as she didn't accept his help. "As you wish." he muttered and followed after her. Every girl around here - stubborn as a mule... he thought. But seeing her stumble forward, he just quickly took her arm and placed it around his shoulders, helping her stand straight again without even asking for her permission. She looked like she wouldn't even make it halfway there before collapsing to the ground. "Less heroism could do you good at the moment, Foxy." he said and began walking towards medical bay.

Piper frowned when Vulcan helped her back up, putting her arm around his shoulder while helping her along to the medical bay. It seemed that most of the prisoners had wandered off into the prison, losing interest in the battle that was now over. A few still lingered curiously, but not enough to hinder Piper and Vulcan from getting to the medical bay in a timely manner. Muttering under her breath while they made their way to the medical bay, Piper said, "I just don't like accepting help from others, Wolfy." She instantly returned the nickname, silently amused by Vulcan's nickname for her.

He really couldn't be mad at her for calling him all those different nicknames. He did the same to her as well. A small memory popped up in his head of how Amelie hated being called nicknames. Only by her brother... and himself. He quickly shook the thought of it away. They and the rebellion couldn't coexist. He had to leave her in the past. "Sometimes you can't do without someone's help." he replied. "I used to be just like you. Never allowing anyone to even come close to assisting me. Made more enemies than friends that way." he muttered quietly and as they reached the medical bay, he kicked the door open with his foot.

Seeing the two enter, Matthew rushed to the door and held it open for them. His eyes widened at the sight of Piper and especially her wings. Was that the huge dragon in the plaza? He assumed as much. He quickly recovered from the surprise and called the doctor, who rushed over to them along with two nurses. Piper would be put on a bed to rest, injected with the stronger healing serums they had left and her wing bandaged.

Amelie sighed. "Unfortunently we can't use that with what we have here. If you call HQ and tell then they can shut them all off but ours." Once she heard the coffee finish she took poured some in a mug. Amelie pulled out her phone deciding she will call the chief while her coffee was cooling. "I can't believe how many agents we lost." Amelie mummbled. It was a huge blow. They already didn't have a lot in Germany and now they have control of a working prison along with the help if the prisoners. If they shut the power off the dome wouldn't be able to work. Amelie took her cup of coffee and head to her room. "You can deal with the watches!" She called back to Larassa. She closed her door behind her and took out her phone and held the one button down, taking a seat on the bed. The chief picked up soon after. "Sir, we have a problem."

'Yes, I already heard.' She could hear the chief sigh on the other side if the line. 'I had such high hopes for you Amelie. How did this happen? You lost control over an entire prison.' Amelie gripped the edge of the bed. She tried to think back on how it all stsrted. There were so many events that lead to it and Amelie tried her best to explain. On how she had to send Vulcan to solitary, Kytha's gift running rampage despite the cuffs. Xander and Tucker getting mortally wounded and then the fact that Hayden broke into the dome. Up until that point the chief was quiet. 'I'll stop you there. I guess it partially my fault for not sending enough support. I should have sent more.' Amelie didn't respond. 'I will tell the everyone what happened. They will understand once Hayden got involved. What happened to him?' Amelie didn't want to mention Piper but he was going to find out anyway. "There was a prisoner in the states that had managed to come help us. We had to leave her there since eshe was mortally wounded and we didn't want dead weight." The last part was a lie but she didn't want to explain why she didn't take their other dragon shifter back with them.

Amelie heard the chief take a deep breath and then exhale. She heard the door open kn the other end and the chief switching languages to talk to the other person. When the door slammed shut she waited for what he had to say. 'I'm sorry Amelie, I need to go. We are having issues with Israel and I need to deal with that.' "Yes sir." At that the line went dead. She didn't realize how tight she was gripping the edge of her bed until she went to remove her hand. It was stiff from being in one position for so long. Amelie realized someone was going to have to take the blame for what happened either way and she knew it was probably going to be her. She took a sip of her now cooled coffee trying to get it out of her mind. The position was in her reach and she most likely just lost it. Her wolf formed, and was sitting on the floor, it's head resting on her lap. The wolf looked so fragile like of it took a wrong step it would shatter. At this point it didn't matter,s he just needed something there to comfort her. Looking at her wolf all she could think about was Vulcan and how much she wished for him to be there. The wolf stsrted to whine and then licked it's masters face.

Piper rolled her eyes at Vulcan's remarks, though you'd only be able to see her right eye rolling due to her left one being injured and closed shut. "Trust me, Wolfy. I've survived out there for a far longer time than anyone else here because I kept away from people and helped myself. It's better that way."

Once Piper was in the medical bay, she smirked at a young agent, who seemed wholly surprised to see Piper in her current form. After all, she was mostly human, part fox, and part dragon at the moment. Certainly an odd sight. When she was helped onto the bed, she let out a soft groan from both pain due to her injuries and exhaustion, and relief at finally laying down. Once settled, Piper felt herself given a healing serum while one of the nurses went to work at stitching up the tear in her right wing. When done, the other nurse walked up and then bandaged Piper's right wing. When the doctor approached Piper's left side, he asked her to open her left eye so he could look at it. Tensing at this, Piper subconsciouly tightly gripped the bed sheets and then slowly opened her left eyelid. There was a lot of pus coming from around the eyeball itself, which was grey colored in the iris now and currently red around the iris. Piper began to hyperventilate though, as she realized with the skip of a heartbeat...she couldn't see with her left eye at all.

Larassa nodded at Amelie's instructions and retrieved her heated up meat from the microwave while Amelie left to make her call to the Chief. Wolfing down her meat, Larassa let out a sigh of relief and then went to the unoccupied room to make her own call to HQ. Locking the door behind herself, Larassa began to pace in the room while she called up HQ, "It's Larassa. I need to shut down all of the agents' watches from the prison in Germany except for myself, Amelie's, and both (earthbender) and (anti-gravity agent)." She then continued to pace while waiting for a confirmation or at least a response.

When the nurses took Piper and began their work on her, Vulcan stayed there for a couple more moments before going back out. He didn't like hospitals, not at all, and yet all the recent events have always led him to being in one. Once outside, he first looked over the plaza. It was now almost completely empty. Many of the prisoners, guards and agents have returned to their cells or rooms, wherever there was a bed really. They have even cleared out the bodies of the unconscious agents that have refused to cooperate, placing them in cells and locking them inside, only minutes before their watches were shut down. They could have expected that but no one was regretting their decision. Vulcan headed back for the group, cautiously circling around Kytha to get to Xander. "Nice recovery, brother." he said quietly and placed his hand on his shoulder. "I see you have picked your side." he added.

Xander practically jumped out of his skin when Vulcan quietly approached him and then clasped his shoulder all of a sudden. Biting back a yelp of surprise, Xander then looked to the side at Vulcan and said quietly, "Mate, a little warning next time, okay?" Then Xander added in response to what Vulcan said, "Yeah, well, Amelie told me where to find their strongest healing serums if I managed to convince you to at least ask Kytha and Toron to agree to help us earlier. Failed attempt or not, I still got to use one of those bad boys. As for picking sides, the agency took me away from my wife several years ago, and she was pregnant at the time. I don't even know if the child was ever born, what gender it is, what its name is..." Trailing off at these thoughts, Xander looked at the ground and idly kicked at a nearby weed. Had his child ever been born? Did the agency keep true to its word and keep Celeste safe? Where was she now?

When Xander suddenly jumped up in surprise, Vulcan quickly pulled his hand back, not sure ifhe had hurt him or had just frightened him. He was more often that not underestimating the silence of his movements. Some habits one simply couldn't get rid off so easily, nor did he want to. Hearing about his wife however, Vulcan placed his hand back on his shoulder and gripped it slightly. "I'm sorry. I didn't know." he said quietly. He was thinking of what might happen to them now, especially since Xander had basically joined the enemy. Were they even alive? The government was capable of everything really, moral didn't matter. A life meant nothing to them. "We will find them." he said after a moment. "The government has the file of every citizen. If we can gain access to these files, we'll know what has happened with them." But to access those, one needed a working watch and a permission from someone higher in rank - someone like Amelie. Vulcan looked up at the barrier. The hole Piper created was huge, yes, but she was unable to fly. If they had enough metal benders, they might be able to create a 'door'. Nevertheless, they needed Ms Glass - the only one with the knowledge of the code that was to put the barrier down. Maybe the second in charge? But who the hell was that?

Xander sighed and said quietly, "No need to apologize, mate. You didn't know." After having finally stood up for himself and joined the rebel side, who knew what the agency would do to Celeste and Xander's child. They were in danger now, but there was nothing Xander could do. Tightly clenching his fists on either side of him, Xander then looked right at Vulcan and said, "I need to get the files on Celeste as soon as possible. Once they find out what I've done, Celeste and my child will be in danger every second." Xander didn't even want to think about what devious thing they'd think up to do to Celeste. He just wanted to see her again with her beautiful, feathery wings....

It was quiet for a moment before someone spoke. "Alright Agent Larassa. You are all set." The woman said. "Is there anything else you need?"

It was a few minutes before Amelie stood up. Her wolf jumped up into the bed an laid down. She walked out of her room and to the other agent. "I'm assuming Larassa took the other room. The couch you are sitting on has a pull out bed in it. You and him," She motioned at the earth bender. "will have to share." After that she went outside to tell the earth bender that he had first watch with Rosalyn and in a few hours to wake up the anti-gravity bender to switch. She the walked back in and said goodnight. At this point Amelie was having trouble keeping her eyes open. When she got into her room she searched through the draws for some pjs. Once she found some she put it on and curled up in the bed. Her wolf scooted closer and she draped an arm over it and fell asleep.

After a few minutes of being on the cell, Rosalyn tried reading the guy's mind. He didn't have much. Only what he saw before the fight with Hayden. She walked over to him and pressed her chest against the bars. "Are you sure you can't let little ol me out if here? What harm could I possibly do?" Her voice was sweet. The man looked her over and a grin formed on his fave. Right then Amelie came to tell him he had first watch and the grin got wiped off his face, for he remembered who else was he. From then on he pulled up a patio chair and sat down. "You were put on there for a reason little miss. I can't let you out. Plus there is better eye candy here than you." Yes Amelie was scary as hell but it didn't change the fact that she was pretty. Rosalyn huffed and went to sit down on the floor. They were going to be here a while.

Larassa promptly replied, "No, that's all." She then hung up and let out a sigh, the day's events beginning to wear her down finally. Taking off her leather jacket, Larassa then hung it off one of the bed posts and kicked off her combat boots as well. Not bothering to change out of her uniform just yet, Larassa then climbed into her bed and settled down, passing out rather promptly with how exhausted her mind and body was after everything that had happened.

The anti-gravity bender nodded at what Amelie said and promptly set up the bed-couch, before kicking off his shoes and settling into the bed. When Amelie came back in and said good night to him, the bender briefly responded with a good night himself and then was out within a few minutes.

"We need a working watch and the permission of a higher up to access files like these, Xander, you know that." he said and looked down at the other's watch. It was still working but they nevertheless needed Amelie's permission - one they couldn't get for the life of them. "We will figure this out." he muttered and looked down at his feet. If he had to, he would seek her out and ask or even force her to sow them this information. They would have to do this some time anyways.

Xander frowned and then decided to change the subject, as they weren't going to accomplish anything talking about Celeste and Xander's child. Glancing sideways at Vulcan, Xander then asked him quietly, "How's Piper holding up? She didn't look so good when you two left. I would've joined you two, but I want to make sure Kytha doesn't try anything dangerous."

"She'll be fine. She looks like the types of people that have gone through much worse than that." he replied and raised his head a bit, looking over at Kytha next. She couldn't mourn forever and as much as he hated to think about it, they had to get rid of that body one way or the other. Vulcan believed there was a freezer in the medical bay where they could store it before it began to stink or something.

Carter woke up from the sound of the prisoners going back to their cells after the riot. He didn't bother going with them outside when they broke out, he was too tired. Most of the prisoners went back to their cells to sleep, some stayed outside. The quiet whispers of the prisoners talking to each other, the dimly lit lights, and the sound of the calm breeze - Carter's type of atmosphere. He walked out of his cell and felt the sensation of being free. He was in prison for 2 days now, and for what? Accidentally camping on a restricted area. He thought that it was partly his fault that he didn't bring a map during his trip in the country. He noticed that many of the prisoners that passed by him were not wearing their cell uniforms anymore, instead they wore very fashionable clothes. He walked up to a prisoner that was leaning on wall talking to another prisoner, they both wore a polo shirt. "Hey, uhh, so where'd you find those clothes?" Carter asked. The prisoner pointed at the open plaza, "Oh yeah, when you reach the plaza you'll see a bunch of other rooms around it, we just took the clothes from the guards' dorms. Pretty sure there's still some left." The prisoner said as he pointed directions.

Carter followed the directions and reached the plaza, at first he ignored the dead and mauled body at the center, thinking that he'd just come back later. He then went to guard's dorm and took a long sleeved black polo and folded it up to his elbow, and also wore jeans and took his Vans shoes. Unsatisfied, he searched for perfume and sprayed it all over his stinking body. He then walked out of the dorm fresh and clean as he walked up to the mauled bloody body that was accompanied by a girl and two men that seemed to be talking. He stopped when he was 3 meters away from them, and he raised his hands up to show surrender, "Hey... what's up?" He asked calmly, with a smile.

Xander nodded at Vulcan and was silent for a bit, unsure what else to really do until Kytha was done mourning. Xander could always go and check on Piper, but they probably just started working on her and so he'd most likely just get in the way more than anything. When Xander heard someone approaching though, he tensed and then immediately summoned his fire wolf companion, which then whipped around and bared its fangs at a prisoner, who had just approached the group. Xander turned around to see who it was, but didn't recognize the prisoner. Hoping that Kytha wouldn't notice yet, Xander then briskly walked up to the prisoner and said, "Get out of here, now. None of us know you and someone has recently passed away. You're only going to make things worse so find someone else to bother, kid." Xander's fire wolf growled at the prisoner again, the fiery coat dancing about while the wolf was defensive towards the prisoner.

When the prisoner approached them, Vulcan looked at him and observed Xander's and his companion's behavior for a moment before baring his teeth a bit as well. "Nothing to see here that you would understand. Move on." he said, a small, almost unnoticeable growl in his voice, enough to tell him that if he tried anything stupid he might be mauled. Most of the prisoners here might be accused for no reason other than their gift but there were criminals in here as well. Dangerous gifted with dangerous temperaments.

Carter didn't a single step when the fire wolf growled at him, as well as the other Therian. He calmly put his hands back down, "Sorry, I was just a bit curious on what happened..." He said as he left them and backed up and went to the opposite direction where he stood beside a lady prisoner (Forest). He looked up at the gigantic hole in the dome."How do you think can we get out?"

Kytha gave a soft whimper and turned human. She sat down and just looked at Hayden. She didn't take any notice to the male who had approached and walked away. He looked at his crushed skull and her stomach churned. Her sadness was turning to anger in Vulcan. So much anger. "I'm sorry I failed you.." She whimpered. She looked at tucker. "I'm a fool. I'm not fit to be a rebellion leader."

Forest sighed at the male. She was now standing against a wall watching the group. Her red hair shone in the light that flew through the holes. "Ropes. Lots of ropes. Help me scrounge up some if you wanna leave. If we can't find any get bed sheets." She began walking away towards the cells to grab any unused sheets or ones people were willing to give up.

"Fantastic idea." Carter said as he watched the lady leave and find anything at all that can be used as ropes. He followed what the lady said and began to walk around the plaza shouting, "Everybody get me anything that can be used as a rope! We need to get out of this place quickly! Let's go!" Most prisoners then began finding bed sheets, and long towels. The others started to walk through cells and made the others wake up. Carter stood in the middle of them and watched them work, "That's it, make the ropes longer."

Xander watched the prisoner walk away and let out a small, frustrated sigh. The last thing they needed right now was any prisoners becoming too curious.

Tucker furrowed his brows in a concerned look when he saw Kytha shift back into a human and then sit down, especially when she told him that she wasn't fit to be a rebellions leader. Slowly walking up to where Kytha was sitting, so as to potentially avoid any conflict, Tucker then knelt down beside her and gently pulled Kytha into a hug. He then said softly, "You don't have to lead alone, Ky. I'm here for you."

Xander ignored the heartfelt, mushy talk between Kytha and Tucker, as he noticed the prisoners all tying bed sheets together. What, were they planning on climbing the ropes to the top of the dome and out? Who was even going to set them there? Everybody wasn't going to even be strong enough to get out of here. That was the dumbest idea anyone could have ever thought of for an escape. Frowning at the prisoner who then told everyone to keep it up, who happened to be the same curious prisoner from moments before, Xander then walked right up to him and crossed his arms over his chest. He then calmly asked the prisoner, "Are you seriously planning to escape with those 'ropes' of yours? How 're you going to get them up there? What are you going to do when a prisoner is too weak to climb up themselves? We have injured stuck in the medical bay. We have more than enough food and medical supplies here, as well as beds for everyone. Why the hell would you be trying to escape from our fortress? That dome helps protect us from the outside elements and from any future attacks. Our enemies, the agency, only has two ways in to attack us. That large hole that the dragon made, and the smaller one."

Carter looked at the man who was the same man with the dead body recently. "Hey, you got a better idea? I'd like to hear. I'm not staying here in this place, bro." He replied. As much as he realized that the plan was stupid, it was the only choice he had.

Raising an eyebrow at the prisoner, Xander then dropped his arms to his side and shrugged before saying, "All right, your funeral, mate." This said, he then turned away and returned to Vulcan's side, warily watching Kytha and Tucker for the time being. They were definitely going to need to do something about that body soon. It already reeked and was only going to smell worse with time. There was no way that Xander was going to let Kytha bury Hayden though. Who knew, the guy could somehow come back to freaking life. No, Xander was more than ready to burn the body and leave the ashes with Kytha.

Kytha whimpered with sorrow not feeling the least bit happier. Here, she sits hopelessly to the dead body of a loved one, hoping his death gives her answers. The I breakable shard still tightly grasped in her hand, she knew what had to be done. No more feely-touchy Kytha. It was time she take ownership and finish what she had started with a bang. She stood up out of Tucker's embrace and looked at Xander. "Can you burn Hayden and collect his ashes? One day I want to spread them back in the first place we met." Then, without anything else, she turned to all the prisoners and walked over. Few, the therians, dared not make eye contact with this powerful woman. Finally, when she was in front of the male whom had attempted to talk with them. She crossed her arms looking him hard in the face. "Who the hell put you in charge? Huh? This is my prison. Those bed sheets are needed for the injured, sick, and everyone in this prison so I suggest you stop your fooling around and do something useful. Alright?" She turned to the prisoners. "These blankets are needed to keep us warm! Why would we use such a thing so we can escape into the forest and die off? I bet over half of you have never lived in a forest. We need training! We need scouts, we need to make this our home! It is our safest bet. Now, if you'd like to survive, no, live, I suggest you start disassembling the 'rope'."

(Putting up forest and toron later ^_^ )
