"These stinking rich people..."

Jade looked up from her chewing and blushed a little in embarrassment at being caught enjoying something so fancy. "M-Maybe..." She said, slowing down her eating as she looked down.

 

[MikuChan]

Kazuki laughed a little. "It's okay to enjoy it. It's made by chefs that have been studying culinary arts and cooking a lot," said Kazuki.


More time passes and Kazuki was almost done eating. "Do you want to do something else after this? Or do you want to go back to school?"

Jade nodded slowly but still ate at a normal pace. When he asked that she had almost finished as well and looked at her watch. "Well, there's only a half hour left so I don't see the point. I guess I should head over to work." She said, finishing her meal and wiping her mouth with the napkin.

 

[MikuChan]

He stopped eating and looked at Keme. "Your going to work? Let me take you. Where do you work?" asked Kazuki.

Jade felt a little extra weight on her shoulders as he told her that, but she knew from here she probably couldn't walk there in time for her shift so she nodded. "Alright... I work at the convenience store on Elm street.

 

[MikuChan]

Kazuki pulls out his wallet from his pocket. He then takes out a credit card that is exclusive to rich people. Their waiter comes by and brings a check. "How was the food?" asked the waiter as they grab the credit card.


"It was good. Right, Keme?" asked Kazuki as he laughs a little when he remembers how happy she was when she was eating.


Akihiro was still doing the photo shoot. He though about Keme as he posed.

Jade blushed softly and looked away, a little embarrassed and she nodded. "Yes, it was very good..." She said quietly.

 

[MikuChan]

The waiter leaves and them quickly comes back and the waiter gives back the credit card.


Then Kazuki puts it away and gets up. He grabs Keme's hand and says, "Come on, let's take to work." Kazuki drags her out of the restaurant and the hostess says, "Please come again!"

Jade blinked in surprise as Matsumoto grabbed her hand and practically dragged her out of the restaurant. She tried to pull her hand free. "I'm not five, I don't need you to hold my hand." She said simply.

 

[MikuChan]

Kazuki looks at his hands and lets go of her hands. "It is a privilege to be even touching my hands," replied Kazuki all high and mighty. "I just wanted to make sure you came along," said Kazuki as he looks around for the car. "He's late..."


The car shows up a few seconds after Kazuki says that and the butler immediately gets out of the car and bows. "I'm sorry, for being late, young master."

Jade sighed and rolled her eyes at his high and mighty talk, this was why she disliked rich kids. She then looked at him confused as he said the driver was late and saw them pull up not even a minute later. "It's fine." She said before Matsumoto could speak and climbed in the car once he opened the door.

The car arrived at Keme's workplace. The driver opened the door for Keme.


Kazuki looked around at the store. "So this is where you work?" asked Kazuki. "Is this usually when you work at this store?"

Keme looked back at him and nodded. "Yeah, every other day, now till closing." She said as she grabbed her stuff and said. "Thanks for the ride." Before closing the door quickly and walking inside.

 

[MikuChan]

Kazuki smiled at Keme. "Your welcome. When do you get off work? I'll come pick you up," said Kazuki as he looks around at some of the strange people in the area. "This place doesn't look very safe...."

Keme sighed and called back. "I'll be fine, I don't live far." Before walking inside, the automatic doors closing behind her as she went to the bathroom to change into her uniform.

 

[MikuChan]

Kazuki nodded as Keme walked away.


"Shall we go now?" asked the driver.


"Let me stay for a bit, I just want to see what she's like when she works...." Kazuki answers as he feels his face getting slightly red. Kazuki started thinking about why he wanted to see this girl work and he couldn't believe he said it out loud.

Keme was visible through a window as she worked the cash register. She came out of the bathroom in her bright red shirt and black pants, a name tag clipped to her bosom and she actually had a smile on her face. She chatted pleasantly with her shoppers and even chuckled at some things some of them said. She was efficient and moved in fluid motions, never leaving any of them waiting long. She seemed to be quite well liked among the shoppers as people would go into her line even when another one was shorter.

 

[MikuChan]

Kazuki opened the car's window a little and he could feel a nice gentle breeze. Some of the sakura petals from the cherry blossom trees fell into the car. Kazuki looked through the window of the store and he couldn't help but think Keme looked beautiful. "She looks different when she's working...." Kazuki said quietly.


The driver heared what Matsumoto says and looked over at Keme and back at the young master looking fondly at Keme. "Young master, would you like to stay more longer?"


"Yeah, just a bit longer...." replied Kazuki.

Keme continued working until closing time at 8 and she changed out of her work clothes in the bathroom, punched out, said goodbye to the other employees and began to walk home.

When Keme finished work Kazuki was still there, but he fell asleep in the car. It was dark outside and the wind was making Kazuki feel cold.


Akihiro was in the area and he saw Keme walking home. Akihiro still wasn't wearing his glasses and he still had his hair styled. Akihiro ran up from behind Keme and tapped her on the back. "Hey, did you just come back from something?" asked Akihiro.

Keme blinked in surprise and looked behind her at the tap to see some pretty boy behind her. She looked at him confused but then her eyes widened in surprise when she recognized him as Fujioka. "Oh! Fujioka, yeah, I just got off from work. What are you doing here?" She asked curiously as she stopped to chat.

 

[MikuChan]

The wind blew Akihiro's hair and he tried to push it back with his hands. Akihiro smiled and tried to not laugh by looking away. "Are you surprised? I had a photo shoot around the area and I was just trying to waste some time. Then I saw you," answered Akihiro. "So, what are you doing here, Keme?" said Akihiro when he finally could keep his laughter inside.


Kazuki started feeling too cold for his liking and woke up. He looked around and noticed sakura petals and that he was still in the car and it was dark outside. He saw that the store was closed and decided he should just head home. Kazuki motioned for the driver to start driving and the driver began to drive.

Jade chuckled a little and nodded. "Yeah, you look really different. I almost didn't recognize you." She said with a smile and she shrugged at his question. "Heading home from work. That Matsumoto guy almost made me late when he dragged me out of school to go to some restaurant." She said, rolling her eyes in annoyance.

 

[MikuChan]

Akihiro pushs his hair because he felt like it was getting in his eyes and he answers, "It is more comforting out of school to dress the way I like." Akihiro look arounds and notices some strange people walking around. "Oh yeah, what is up with that guy anyways?" asks Akihiro as he continues to look around. "Since your walking home, let me walk you home. I don't think it's safe for a girl to be walking around here when it is late..."


Kazuki's driver starts driving and Kazuki suddenly notices a guy with blond hair who looks like he is flirting with some girl. Kazuki notices that the girls clothes look familiar. He looks more closely and his eyes widen when he realizes it is Keme. "Who is that guy? Why is she talking to him? Why does she seem more happy with that flirt than me? Nobody is better than me!"

Jade chuckled softly and smiled at him. "I walk this route every other night. But if it would make you feel better, I guess I don't mind you walking me home." She said and began leading him towards her house. "So modeling huh? I'm surprised, you don't seem like the type to be a show off." She said teasingly.
