"These stinking rich people..."

Jade shook her head. "Nope, he just randomly started bugging me yesterday in class." She shrugged. "Who knows." She said simply as she found a book that seemed to interest her and turned to smile at Fujioka. "Well, I gotta get to class soon. I'll see you later." She turned and headed to the book check out, checking out her book then heading off to class.

Akihiro just smiled at Keme and waved goodbye in a very showy way. Suddenly somehow he triped over something because he wasn't watching his step. "Darn it...." he said as he gets up again and continued to wave. When Akihiro tripped a lot of the students in the library looked over at him. Akihiro feeling very embarrassed smiled at them and tried to hide between the bookshelves. He could hear some students laughing. They think they are so great.

Jade blinked in surprise as she heard him trip and fall, she looked back to make sure he was ok then gave a sympathetic smile before walking off to class after having checked out her book.

The next period began and Akihiro had a free period so he stayed at the library and studied. He sat at table far away from others in the library and even when they whispered about him, he ignored them all.


Kazuki was already at his next class and all he could feel was bored. He already knew most of the material. Kazuki started to flip his pen and he sighed a few times.


In Keme's English class~


The teacher opened her book and said, "Please turn to page 21. Keme, please translate the poem to English."

Jade nodded and stood up, reading the poem fluently.


"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,


And sorry I could not travel both


And be one traveler, long I stood


And looked down one as far as I could


To where it bent in the undergrowth;


Then took the other, as just as fair,


And having perhaps the better claim,


Because it was grassy and wanted wear;

"Good job, Keme," said the English teacher. The teacher continued to teach and class ended.


Later on the day it was time to eat lunch. Everyone in the school ate in the same cafeteria at the same time. The schools lunch was all rich kids food and most of the students ate the schools lunch.


Akihiro already got lunch and he was sitting by himself near the window in the cafeteria. He was trying to read a book and eat. He looked around for a bit to see if Keme was around. He didn't see her so Akihiro continued to read.

Jade came in a little late after having helped a teacher with delivering some papers to another teacher and sat at the only empty table she saw in the corner of the room, not having seen Fujioka, she sat down and pulled out her bagged lunch and began eating.

Some of the girls at the table nearby looked at Keme with disgust.


"Why is she even here?" whispered one of them.


"I heard her parents are dead. And she lives by herself," said one of the girls.


Yukino overheard the girls in the table near Keme. She was sitting in a table with her fellow club members. Yukino smiled to them and said, "Please excuse me. I'll be right back." Yukino went over to the girls she overheard. She stood right in front of the table. She immersed herself with the group of people.


"Oh! Is the commoner really living by herself? I feel so bad for her," Yukino said very sarcastically. "I mean it makes sense right? She smells bad too. I bet you she doesn't really take showers," stated Yukino.


Akihiro was almost finished eating and he heard the girls gossiping again. Don't they have anything better to do? He finished his food and went over to the table with the girls gossiping. He pushed his glasses back up and sheepishly said, "Stop gossiping."

Jade heard the gossip but didn't really care, then she blinked in surprise when she heard Fujioka's voice trying to stop them, she shrugged and said. "Thanks Fujioka, but I don't really care what a bunch of shallow, hateful girls think of me." She stood and headed to throw her trash in the trashcan, walking by the table without a word but giving Fujioka a soft nod of thanks.

As Keme walked away, Yukino got up and pushed Akihiro in the chest. "Who do you think you are anyways?"


Akihiro stepped back a little and fell down.


"How pathetic. You fell down so quickly. The person you tried to defend even left you," Yukino said as she looked down at Akihiro.

Jade had dropped her food in the trash when she heard and turned, she walked back, as she was only a few steps away, and stepped between them, looking at Yukino with a calm, cool, but somehow incredibly scary look on her face. She spoke in an even tone that probably sent chills down the spines of the weak. "Your problem is with me correct? I do not understand what I have done to you but I suggest you get your focus straight. Standing up to someone like you, whom finds some sort of strange joy from attempting to make others miserable, makes him a much stronger person than a weak minded, self entitled, low grade child with a Queen Bee complex like yourself." She turned to the side and helped Fujioka up, she then turned only her head to give Yukino a glare that would make skeletons' bones rattle. "Now, I suggest you back off."

 

[MikuChan]

A girl suddenly got up from the table of Yukino's followers and said, "You can't talk to Ms.Yukino like that!"


Yukino glared at Keme. "I do not have a queen bee complex! For your information, I have always been one of the best students in class. My grades are probably better than yours!" she shouted. Yukino then looked over at the follower that spoke out. "I don't need you to help me. I can deal with this commoner," Yukino said. Yukino then walked over to Akihiro. "What is so good about defending this commoner anyways?" Yukino asked. When she got closer to him and actually looked at him, she realized that he was taller than she thought. "Seriously who are you?"


Meanwhile...


Kazuki had came back from eating out and he happened to walk by the cafeteria. He heard some yelling coming from the cafeteria so he took a peek inside. "Is that Keme...?"

Jade frowned and stepped between them again. "Your grade point average means nothing. If you choose to take out your own frustrations on others instead of dealing with them in a healthy way, then you are weak and simpleminded." She looked up at Yukino, who was slightly taller than her but she didn't seem to back down at all.

 

[MikuChan]

Akihiro sighed and grabbed Yukino's wrist. "Why does it matter who I am? I am getting sick of you," he stated with disgust.


Yukino tried to pull her wrist away. "I didn't say anything about my grade point average! Are you deaf?" She glared at Keme and then looked back at Fujioka. "Do you not know any manners? Randomly grabbing a girl's wrist."

Jade sighed in frustration and she placed a hand on Fujioka's arm. "Let's go Fujioka. She's not worth it." She said simply, beginning to guide him away as the bell rang.

 

[MikuChan]

Kazuki saw Keme grabbing into Fujioka's arm and for some reason he felt really disturbed by it. He pushed the door open and ran over to Keme. "Keme, what are you doing with this guy again?" He pulled Akihiro's arm away from Keme. He glared at Fujioka and then looked back at Keme.


Yukino was about to shout at Keme, but Matsumoto came in. She quickly went over to his side. "Did you come here to see me?" Yukino said with a smile. She clung onto Matsumoto and got really close to him. "Or that stupid commoner again? It is me right?"

Jade blinked in surprise when Matsumoto came in and pulled Fujioka's arm away from her and sighed in frustration, rolling her eyes at Yukino's clinginess even though it was clear that Matsumoto did not enjoy her company. She then looked back at Matsumoto and narrowed her eyes. "He's helping me to try and deal with YOUR fangirl attempting to harass us. Because unlike 98% of this school's population, he cares about people and their feelings rather than his own personal agenda." She sighed, clearly getting overly frustrated and turned, continuing to walk out of the cafeteria. "I'll see you later Fujioka."

Yukino held onto Matsumoto tighter. "I Am NOT just a fangirl. I'm his future fiancee. My parents are going to make it happen," she said with confidence. She stood up more straight and felt really proud at that moment.


Kazuki moved away from Yukino and pulled her hand off of him. He looked at her with disgust before Keme started walking away. Then Kazuki tried to run after Keme. "Hey! Wait, where are you going? Class?" Kazuki grabbed Keme's hand and he started to feel like his face was hot. I am I blushing? He looked down immediately and quickly let go of Keme's hand.

Jade rolled her eyes at Yukino's proud statement. She then blinked in surprise and looked back at him as he grabbed her hand and quickly let it go as he looked overheated. "Yes, I'm going to class." She said simply, distantly as she turned and continued walking.

 

[MikuChan]

Kazuki tried to follow Keme. He stopped for a moment. "Hey, next time if Ayanami and or anyone for that matter, tell me. I want to help you," he said looking at Keme. He then realized how cheesy he sounded. Kazuki started to blush again.


Meanwhile...


Yukino just stood in the cafeteria for a bit astonished at how HER Prince just left and ran after the commoner once again. Why her again? Yukino felt like she looked weird and pulled out a compact mirror. She checked for any blemishes as well and affirmed to herself, "I am pretty than her. I am pretty than her."


Akihiro wanted to go after Keme too, but he heard Yukino talking to herself. "Keme is much more prettier than you." He then headed in the direction to where Keme and Matsumoto went.

Jade looked at Matsumoto, surprised by his words then sighed a little and nodded. "Alright... sorry, I guess I've been a little harsh..."

 

[MikuChan]

Kazuki eyes windened at Keme's response and his face became more red. Did she apologize and agree? Kazuki tried to stop blushing and look at Keme. "I just... Don't like that guy... And I want to be the one to help...." he said quietly. Kazuki then turned around; he felt really embarrassed at what he just said. "Forget what I just said, but I still want you to ask me for help. Don't go to that Fujiko guy or whatever...." Kazuki said more loudly.


Akihiro was pretty close by Keme and Matsumoto. He was pretty surprised Keme said 'alright' too. He then sighed when Matsumoto called him the wrong name again. "It is Fujioka, not Fujiko," he said to Matsumoto.

Jade looked at Matsumoto, still confused as to why he was blushing and she sighed. "Well, I appreciate your wanting to help, I might have thought you were more of an ass than it seems you are. But I'm still going to hang out with Fujioka. He's a good guy." She looked over at Fujioka and chuckled a little. "I think Matsumoto must have a bad memory or something."

 

[MikuChan]

"I am not an 'ass' and he is not a 'good guy.' I mean just look at him!" Kazuki said while pointing at Fujioka. "And I do not have a bad memory! This guy just isn't important. I don't need to bother remembering someone like him. It is a waste of MY time," Kazuki declared with pride. He then glared at Fujioka. The guy really got on Kazuki's nerves for some reason. He didn't like that smug smile Fujioka sometimes wore. Kazuki felt like he remembered someone from his past that resembled Fujioka. He couldn't quite remember so he gave up trying to remember someone he doesn't like.


Akihiro smiled in response to Matsumoto's glare. "Yeah, he does seem like a guy with bad memory." Then he looked over at Keme and asked, "So, what class you headed to now?" He moved closer to Keme and he saw a vending machine nearby. "Keme, do you want something to drink? I'm kind of thirsty. I can buy you a drink too."

Jade narrowed her eyes a little at Matsumoto's rude declaration. "Never mind then. I take it back. You ARE an arrogant ass." She rolled her eyes and then looked up at Fujioka, smiling and shaking her head. "I'm fine, I don't like having people buy for me."
