Supreme Overlord
faraine zolas
unexpected alliance
Faraine was thankful for the willingness of the group to go with her suggestion, Ciaran even sprucing up the potentially mundane trip with a challenge for the pair. The bounty hunter didn't exactly care about the herbology of this place, but if it meant that there'd be some friendly competition, and an easy excuse for her to attempt to find the villages from her vision, she'd be perfectly fine with joining in on the competition.
She watched her much smaller companions bouncing with excitement, willing her to scoff gently, "Prepare to lose.." A taunting jab, thrown out as a last word before turning towards the foliage behind her. Once the ragtag team had begun to distance themselves from herself and Ciaran, Faraine looked down at the healer.
"Clever use of persuasion, there.." She hummed, a satisfied smirk lifting her features before she unsheathed her sword and held it in front of her. She decided to use the finely crafted metal to push away the plant life in front of her, unsure of what is safe to touch. Her gaze continued to peer into the forest, noticing that the sun still provided plenty of light for them to walk with high visibility.
Holding the lush greenery up to form a path, golden eyes looked downward to the head of ginger hair beside her, "After you, then." The woman remembered that he was not exactly the most heroic on the boat, before the Kraken. However, she wondered if the harrowing experience would allow him to bravely be the first to enter the unknown lands. She wouldn't blame him if he'd rather her be the first, but she decided to continue, "I don't see any visible threats, but keep your guard up. We're not alone on this island."
What sounded comforting to her, potentially came off quite ominous to anyone listening. She didn't see it that way, though, so neither should the beastkind beside her.
