Malvo leaned back against Yuki as she watched, as well. Her brows having furrowed as she could feel Dei-Loki's energy continuously seep in even heavier amounts as the seconds went on.

"Firstly; 'Treat like shit'? I know they're demons, but that's pretty big talk for someone saying 'the more blood, the better'." Dei-Loki glared, the mark of corruption on his chest burning and throbbing as black veins branched and slowly creeped to his neck. Standing his ground, he balled his hands into tightly clenched fists. "Secondly; how fucking DARE you come in and fucking threaten me over something I didn't fucking mean t' do. I will slit your throat and hang you t' bleed out like a fucking freshly slaughtered deer if you even come CLOSE to threatening me again. And trust me, you're gonna need Masaru here just so he can fucking PRY ME OFF OF YOU." Dei-Loki glared before forcing himself to leave the room. "FUCKING SHIT!" And, in passing, he rammed his fist through the stone wall - leaving a decently-sized hole as he took out a pack of cigarettes and left for the courtyard.

"Yeah, and good luck fighting Loki with that temper of yours! You're lucky you'll even make it pass the portal!" He glanced over to Masaru who shook his head. "What? The kids a clod! If he thinks that that temper will give him the slightest upperhand against his father, that he's truly mistaken. I understand, i don't get love. I don't understand it. But the kid loves his father through and through. But all of you must realize that the only ones that rule this world are collected Kings. And if there is or was any general, king, or even a fucking squire that treated anyone out of disrespect, they will have a civil war within their castle walls. Take Julius Caesar! The man was brilliant, but cruel and aloof. So what happened to him in the end? He may have won so many beautiful things, and became a God to most men, but he was still ripped apart by his own men. All i'm saying is that you can end one enemy, and make more. You can always make more. Now, put me back in that bugger's head so i can push his Nightmare side into a cage and be done with it all. I'm tired and want a succubus to lick my wounds."

Malvo watched Dei-Loki leave before looking to Devus. "Shut up because you aren't helping." She stared with seriousness in her eyes. "This is rough enough on him without you poking holes and provoking him. He usually only snaps at us because he knows we can take it. He knows we care enough to know he doesn't mean it, even if it does hurt in the moment. But when he's provoked that's like walking around a starving pack of wolves with a coat full of steaks." Malvo then gently freed herself from Yuki's hold - kissing her cheek before she went out to find Dei-Loki so she could talk him down.

Devus watched her go before looking at the two. "Why are you two giving me the death look? I didn't do anything bad, just stated the blunt obvious of the situation. He's irrational, trying to force down his own demons to make a plan work when in all honesty, all he doing is hurting himself more in the process. And if you two are as blind as them, then i'm sorry. Masaru, you know better than anyone. When the Council killed your children's mother and then your own children, you became the monster once more. Instead of getting 'help' you decide to bury that deep into your skin and killed thousands of lives in the process. You've killed children, Masaru. And you still live with that nightmare, and trust me, i know. I saw you wail on them as they begged for mercy."

Masaru clenched his fists before running at Devus with one of his fist behind his head, ready to launch at the target. But instead, it hit the table, making an indent as Devus flipped him over and threw him at the wall before Masaru hit the ground hard. "You really going to let your mate go through the same thing as you did? Are you going to watch him change just like your father? Are you going to smile at him as he tears into your stomach like the vicious wolf that ate Red riding hood's Grandma? Just like your Mother did? How stupid are you? To even think that this plan is going to work out? IT'S FUCKING LOKI! I'M NOT EVEN SURPRISE IF THIS IS HIS PLAN ALL ALONG! I mean come on, he's getting what he always wanted. Someone to rule by his side and to kill. This is how. All. Kings. Fall, Masaru. Are you really that stupid to let your mate turn from a loving human-being into a tantrum-throwing toddler? Call me when you're ready to dig your husband's grave." He sneered as he walked off and out of the room, leaving only Yuki and Masaru. Masaru panted before laying down. He looked up to the spiraling stars in the ceiling before pressing the heel of his palm into his temple, gritting his teeth as he choked up and let the tears fall down his eyes and into his hair.

Cigarette in his mouth, Dei-Loki sat down and took off his black glove to study the bloody, broken knuckles on his hand. A blank expression on his face as he took a drag in silence.

"Hey." Malvo, quietly, would greet. Stepping out as she'd stand at Dei-Loki's side. Her eyes studying the different architecture and plants. "Everything's blooming. Nice t' look at."

"You don't have t' do this." Dei-Loki mumbled, tapping the ash from his cigarette.

"Really? So that outburst in there isn't something to worry about?" Malvo stared at her brother, who said nothing. She then sat down beside him, folding her legs as she'd lean forward to look at Dei-Loki's face. "You can't be like this when fighting him. It might've worked when ya fought and killed Zelda, fought the blight, and when we fought Scáth - the anger. But if you flick quicker than flipping a switch, that'll impede yer judgement. Ya understand?"

Dei-Loki studied the bricks below him. "I didn't mean it..."

"I know." Malvo would reach forward, rubbing Dei-Loki's back. "But y' can't bottle it up like everything else. We might be Mákrish, but even we can't keep everything bottled up."

Dei-Loki glanced back for a couple of minutes before looking to his injured hand once again. "I know... I know, I know, I know!.. I hate this. I hate this, but it has to be done and I just..."

"Who said?" Malvo raised a brow, Dei-Loki looking to her with sad, 'you know' eyes. Malvo would then frown, sighing.

"One way or another, he's dying. If I don't end him now, he'll still come and make me fight during Ragnarök. It needs t' happen now, before he ends up killing--" Dei-Loki whined. "Before I end up k--"

Malvo watched her brother crack, watching the tears fall before she stood up and moved in front of him, sitting down. "Hey. Listen t' me. He isn't getting anywhere near you when Ragnarök comes. Y' know why? Because you have a conscience. Feel that?" She poked Dei's chest. "That pain? That's not just the corruption spreading. I'm talking about the aching in your chest. That's yer heart, Dipper. If y' truly weren't humane, you wouldn't feel that right now. But that pain is good, Dei! It means yer still that little brother I grew up with. The wee one that would do anything fer his family, even if sometimes it was spontaneous and got him in trouble." She smiled at the end, Dei-Loki tearing up.

"I... can't feel... when I do this, Malvo. Because then I do end up second-guessing. I need t' just go ahead and do it..."

"That last part might be true, but y' don't have t' hold it all back. This pains me, too. But I show that it pains me, and it helps. Even if it's just a little bit. Here, think of it like this..." Malvo shifted a bit. "If your other fear is Ragnarök, then yer doing this for the people you love. Fer yer husband, yer kids, mam, dad, the dorkles -- Hell! Everyone! And that's just in the palace alone. I know you still love dad, but where the hell was he all these years? He sure as Shadowheim wasn't the one t' watch after ya, raise ya, teach ya stuff and love ya. You know who did all that shit? The ones in the palace right behind you. Yeah, he might've taught you a couple of things, but other than that all he fucking ever did was use yer powers fer his own shit."

Dei-Loki stared, soon shooting forward as he hugged Malvo, who'd tightly hug back while Dei-Loki sobbed into her shoulder.

"What you're planning isn't out of malice, it's a favour to all the world. You'll save so many lives, Dei-Loki. So, so many. Don't let the ones you save look at you and see a cold, uncaring demigod. Show yer true colours."

Yuki helped Masaru off before she kissed only one teared-covered cheek. "C'mon, ya wanna a popsicle?"

Masaru nodded, wiping his eyes as he followed her to the kitchen.

Rubbing Dei-Loki's back, Malvo kept the hug going. "Now, finish up yer cigarette so we can head inside. I wanna fix up yer hand. Besides, it's gonna rain and you'll catch a cold if ya stay out here. Which means you'll give it t' me and then I won't leave y' alone." She pulled back with a playful squint, soon gently wiping the tears from Dei-Loki's eyes - who'd manage the faintest of smiles as he sniffled. Finishing off his cigarette soon after before Malvo helped him up, holding the door for him. "Right t' the bathroom beside the kitchen, mister! I know how ya tend t' weasel out of check-ups."

Masaru shoved the popsicle into his mouth, turning himself into a vacuum to console his emotions. Yuki was cleaning off the counter as he looked at the dinning room's table like it was his own television. But in reality, it was the fact that Devus's words struck so close to him that he was pushing his kid self out to the open because he didn't want to feel vulnerable in his adult mind.

Moving to head into the bathroom, Dei-Loki soon stopped and peeked into the kitchen to check on the others. His ears having flattened as he'd seen Masaru's state. "Masaru?.."

Malvo watched as she stopped behind Dei-Loki, who'd turn to look at her before sighing and heading into the bathroom right next door where Malvo would clean and bandage the wound to the best of her ability.

Yuki looked to the sound of Dei's voice before frowning as she looked over to her brother who was so far gone in his own head, that he didn't know which way was out anymore. Yuki reached over, going to pet his head but he flinched, putting his hands on top of his head, ready for a blow. Yuki instantly pulled her hand away, but nothing changed as Masaru, with his hands over his head in a protective manner, and a popsicle in his mouth, still stayed like a statue.

"Got yer hand pretty good." Malvo spoke, watching Dei-Loki's zoned out, PTSD gaze. "Dei-Loki?" And, the moment Dei began to tremble, Malvo widened her eyes - cleaning off her hands before she pulled Dei-Loki into a firm embrace. "No. No! Everything is alright. See? Yer hand is taken care of. Nice and quiet, now. Nice and quiet." She softly patted his head, keeping the tight embrace until Dei-Loki stopped fighting it. "Yer home. Nice home. What colour are the bathroom walls?"

Dei-Loki drifted his gaze to the walls, shakily inhaling. "B-Blue... Dark blue..."

"Good." Malvo smiled, looking around. "And the sink?"

"'s white..."

"What about the floor?"

"Light and dark blue tiles..." Dei-Loki shakily exhaled.

"Nice, cool colours, on the floor. Nice cool colours. Now, we're gonna head out of the bathroom whenever you're ready, because you've got someone out there that really needs the same calming experience. Alright?" And, when Dei nodded, he hesitated before heading out with Malvo. "Nice and easy, over to the table." She softly sat Dei-Loki beside Masaru, Dei-Loki moving his hands to his sides - gripping the bottom of his own chair with his good hand. His gaze drifting to Masaru.

Yuki looked to Malvo before walking over to her brother's side. She knelt down to look at him slightly in the eyes. "Massy, I know you can hear me, buddy. Hey, Dad's not here anymore, y'know that? He's went far, far away and he'll never hurt us again. Never ever." Masaru titled his head a bit to look at Yuki with the sadness, fearful eyes ever. Yuki felt a very painful memory of when she let Masaru get beaten horribly because she spilled the cow's milk on accident. "I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry." She whispered, reaching up to pet his cheek. "If i just had the same courage as you . . . c-c'mon, you're mate is waiting for you. He's okay. He's not Dad. He'll never be like Dad. Don't you wanna hug your mate?"

Masaru sat there, not moving an inch. "He'll come back. Daddy always come back. He finds me hiding in the forest and he breaks my ankles so i can't run. I just wanna run, but i can't . . . oh Gods, i can't run. It hurts so much. He won't stop until I feel like dying again. He won't ever stop. He'll come back. Daddy always comes back." Masaru then began to mumble things as Yuki hugged him close to her, petting his hair.

Dei-Loki stared with trembling eyes as fifteen thousand - mental - deep shanks to the stomach would all be felt at once. All guilt, and anger, and continuous lemon juice on raw, old wounds. And, with absolute shakiness, Dei-Loki averted his gaze back to the table. Too much of his own stuff blocking any sort of ideas. To this, Malvo furrowed her brows. Her hands gripping the back of Dei-Loki's chair while Dei would drown in his own thoughts.

Yuki helped Masaru up. "Dei . . . I know you're busy and all, but i think you two deserve a nap don't you? It'll help you and your Grumpytails." She gave her best, warm smile, waiting for a response. Masaru looked everywhere. "I wanna go home. Where's Mom, Sis? I want Mom. I want Mom." He repeated over and over again, his voice becoming softer until he was silent once more.

Shakily inhaling, Dei-Loki looked over once more. "H-He doesn't even know who I--" He gave a painful stop, Malvo helping the still trembling Dei-Loki off the chair.

"Just spend some time. He'll come back." Malvo assured with a gentle smile, Dei-Loki tearing up yet again.

"H-He won't rest with me if he doesn't... if..."

"He's living back then, but that doesn't me that his new memories with you, and your senses won't register. But he still knows you exist, just right now he's in pain, and needs to comfort."

"B-But, I don't know if I can--"

Malvo shushed him, kissing Dei's head. "Don't doubt yerself. Besides, comforting him will take yer mind off yer stuff and y' won't have an incident like in the bathroom again." She'd then softly lift him onto her back, looking to Yuki as she'd gently gesture for her to follow.

Yuki nodded, "it'll both do you a lot of help. And trust me, once he smells your scent, he's going to hug you so hard that you won't even remember your name. Just how nice it feels." She followed Malvo.

Malvo gave a nod of her own, heading up the stairs and towards Dei and Masaru's room. "Then y' both can cling until the pain dies down."

"B-But... I-If I end up..."

"You won't have another moment if you just relax." Malvo assured, pushing the door open for all of them.

Masaru groaned at the familiar scent, Yuki smiled helping him to his bed as he laid down. "That's right, comfy huh? Better than in the woods." Masaru nodded.

"Nice and soft." Malvo smiled, watching Yuki put Masaru down before she'd lay the panicked, pained Dei-Loki right beside him. "And y' even gotta cuddle buddy."

Masaru looked towards Malvo before looking at Dei. "Where's Mom? Yuki, wanna go home." He tried to get back up but Yuki put him back to bed, "shhhhhh, it's a. . . sorry Dei, it's a puppy, Masaru. Momma got you a puppy."

"Puppy? I want a puppy." He sighed happily.

With flattened ears, Dei-Loki simply continued to listen, drifting his attention back and forth between everyone. Not a peep being made, aside from the quiet whine Dei-Loki had eventually released from the situation.

Masaru looked over at the whine, worried, before the child-innocent look in his eyes vanished. "Dei? What's wrong?" He pulled Dei into his chest as he sat up.

"Masaru? Y'okay now?"

"What do you mean okay? Did i get hit with amnesia again?"

Yuki blinked before scratching her head. "Masaru, what's the last thing you remember?"
