"Just . . . . just promise me you won't slip then. That once this is over, you'll come and cry into my arms, and i'll hold you into the pain fades. Don't you fucking leave me after everything that we've been through. Especially don't leave your family because trust me . . . i love you. Y'know that, but if you turn . . . rotten. I can't let you be that and powerful at the same time." He kissed his mate's hair.

Dei-Loki sniffed, and did nothing but nod. "I... I promise. I won't be able t' hold all this down after all is done, anyways..."

Through teary eyes, Dei-Loki looked up. A small smile sliding up his face as he'd lean up and kiss Masaru.

Masaru kissed back, staying like that for a while before pulling apart with as much will power as he had before he dropped his arms together. "I'll be here when you get back to my Squish. As for now . . . how would you like to see this plan out?"

Dei-Loki, once the contact was broken, had pulled back. His gaze having shut as he sighed. "Let me look at the maps again, first, then I'll show y'. It's easier when I've got the layout t' point at."

"Well, whatever you do, we'll follow. Right guys?" He looked back. Yuki nodded after watching the site before her. Devus . . . of course, Devus, was trying to lick the tip of his nose with his tongue.

"Y' know I will." Malvo assured after nodding, Dei-Loki softly exhaling as he'd watch them all.

Dei-Loki would then nod, turning and leading the way in as Malvo watched him head in. A bit of hesitation in her step as she stayed back a ways.

Masaru and Devus followed while Yuki looked back to her. "Is it because of him?" She whispered to her.

Malvo continued to watch, looking to Yuki briefly before back to the palace doors as she whispered back. "This is gonna break him, Yuki. I can feel it..."

Yuki looked back before nodding. "of course it is. We just gotta be there for him when he does."

Yuki took it before following the boys to where Dei

Malvo squeezed her hand gently, following at Yuki's side as they'd gone to the meeting hall.

Keeping his eyes trained on what he was doing, Dei-Loki pulled a handful of mini place-mark flags from one of the larger drawers of the desk. Nine red, then the rest were black. "The red flags," He'd stick one in each map. "are Loki's typical whereabouts. The black flags," He stuck units of them in several areas; between mountains, in the forest, all making sure to surround each red flag, but at a distance to keep them hidden. "are the soldiers. Each realm, they should be assigned to these areas, but they're silent - and hidden. We," He grabbed a few chess pieces next - placing one down to represent the group on each map. "will be showing ourselves, first."

"So are you saying to kill the soldiers and then find Loki? Because more blood for me, equals happiness." Devus grinned.

Dei-Loki stared at Devus for a long moment, almost glaring before he'd snap his attention back down to the map. "Some will die, but it'll serve as a distraction if he's in one of these nine places."

Devus backed up from the stare, titling his head. "But this is Loki you are talking about. You must plan for it all, no? If he figures out that this is a distraction, he'll flee. Most likely trying to find you, and end up hurting your family in the process. And if he doesn't think that, he'll come to fight off whoever dares threaten him, and there, we'll fight. But you must realize that, since you are his son." His amber eyes turned into the color of molten gold as the pupils shifted into snake slits. "You're playing with Gods once more. This isn't your average day in the park. Find the entry ways of where Loki could escape from. And where we can hide and strike in the dark. Your shadows are truly your friends now. You alert one guard, just one, and you're d-e-a-d. This doesn't have to be the only way, anyways. There are better ways than attack in stealth."

With an unconscious snarl, Dei-Loki bit back snapping before marking each exit with blue flags. Each cave, crevice, monument, marked with an orange flag. "Blue are the exits, orange are the places he could hide. I'll have shadow wolves stationed in at least one shadow of each hiding place. And more, mini-boss like shadows at the exit points. He hides, we will find him. He heads out to leave, we'll find him. Knowing him, if he doesn't know it's me, he'll come to me for assistance. Just like every other time he's confronted me."

"Smart. Now there's a better leader." Devus smiled, somewhat liking the wound-up Dei.

Pushing himself to a stand, Dei-Loki had then stood straight. "Now, we just need to find out what realm he's in from Fenrir."

Yuki nodded, "how long shall that take?"

"However long it takes for Fenrir to--" Dei-Loki paused as Fenrir came running in panting. Fenrir then stopped at the door, leaning against the doorframe.

"Alfheim. Dad's in Alfheim."

"Oh. Wonderful. Land of the light elves."

"Still shadows in Alfheim. It isn't like the Light Kingdom." Dei-Loki growled, looking to the Alfheim map as Fenrir made his way in. Malvo flattening her ears from the growl with a sigh.

Yuki squinted, ready to pop the back of Dei's head for growling at his sister. Even if Dei was Malvo's brother, the protective side of Yuki increased as she pulled Malvo closer. She looked to her brother who shook his head.

Devus looked at the three before back at Dei. And of course, the man without filter or fear shook his head. "You really should watch your tone, your high-ness~, before i put your mate in Hell to kick your ass. We are equal kingdoms in this war. Not your soldiers to treat like shit." He quirked his brow, puffing up his chest as he got closer to Dei.

Masaru watched, somewhat amused.

Malvo leaned back against Yuki as she watched, as well. Her brows having furrowed as she could feel Dei-Loki's energy continuously seep in even heavier amounts as the seconds went on.

"Firstly; 'Treat like shit'? I know they're demons, but that's pretty big talk for someone saying 'the more blood, the better'." Dei-Loki glared, the mark of corruption on his chest burning and throbbing as black veins branched and slowly creeped to his neck. Standing his ground, he balled his hands into tightly clenched fists. "Secondly; how fucking DARE you come in and fucking threaten me over something I didn't fucking mean t' do. I will slit your throat and hang you t' bleed out like a fucking freshly slaughtered deer if you even come CLOSE to threatening me again. And trust me, you're gonna need Masaru here just so he can fucking PRY ME OFF OF YOU." Dei-Loki glared before forcing himself to leave the room. "FUCKING SHIT!" And, in passing, he rammed his fist through the stone wall - leaving a decently-sized hole as he took out a pack of cigarettes and left for the courtyard.
