Man Emperor of Mankind

I'm not a God for fuck's sake
State of the World:

The year is 1278. Geralt of Rivia and Yennefer of Vengerberg have been dead for 10 years, killed in a pogrom in Rivia. A mysterious ashen-haired girl took their corpses. The Nilfgaardians have successfully conquered the Continent, executing King Foltest for inciting rebellion. The Temerian Lilies are in shambles, nothing more than mere bandits; simply pests for the now seemingly all-powerful Nilfgaardians. Racial tensions are at an all time high, with pogroms and lynchings of non-humans becoming more and more common now. Non-humans live in constant fear, now ignored by the Nilfgaardians in an effort to please their racist human subjects. Because of this, the Scoia’tael (called simply “Squirrels” by the general populace), are increasing in numbers and becoming somewhat more powerful. They focus less on gaining political power or recognition and merely on getting revenge. This leaves the Continent in a never ending state of violence, with humans mass-lynching and raping non-humans to the Scoia’tael massacring entire human settlements as revenge. Poverty, famine, hate and disease riddles the Continent. The people are bitter, more so than they already were. The Nilfgaardian’s strict laws and harsh punishments cause the humans to live in fear of their own government.

To add to the hellish nightmare, or rather because of it, monsters are coming back. There are less than a handful of Witchers remaining, leaving them with what should be an abundance of work; but with no money to give, the people cannot pay them. The Nilfgaardians care not for the problems of peasants, letting the monster be unless the beasts go after their own transports or gods forbid their own cities. This leaves the Witchers in the same state they have always been: poor.

The Plots:

The Witcher Contract - At last, the desperate Witchers have a contract, procured by Emperor Emhyr var Emreis himself. All of the surviving Witchers, seek an audience with him, each hoping to get the job. Begrudgingly, after none of them back off, they realise they must share the contract and share the reward as a result. The nature of the contract: no one really knows, only that the victims are all young children, they disappear without a trace, and their corpses are found days later, only with much of their flesh removed.

Rebellion - Temerian rebels are trying to gain more of a foothold and eventually fight the Nilfgaardians. As of right now, they need to build their reputation. Their issues include skirmishes with Scoia'tael, robbing Nilfgaardian transports for weapons and supplies and gaining the support of the people in order to eventually start a revolution. You pretty much have total freedom with how this goes; anything is possible.

Np. Could I have your discord though? It's the easiest way to communicate for me.

Hey, I'm interested a bit. I've read all of the books in their original language, so I thought I might fit in.
But just so you know, I'm new to this site. I might not know how things work or whatever.
Anywho, I'm mostly interested in the School of the Viper, but I'd probably be willing to move to different roles if anyone wants to take that.
