Cole Ward (Outlaw)

Cole Ward was accepted into the gang under admittedly strange circumstances. While they were out 'collecting debts' from the sparse homes that made camp around their land, they found some resistance. New tenants it seemed -- a mother father and son. The son was about seven at the time, and to the outlaws recollection, was told to stay out back of the house and run if there were trouble. Advice he did not follow. Despite the best efforts of the indebted husband and wife, and even an impressive shot from the father, which knocked one of the outlaws clean into his grave, they were overpowered. In order to teach a lesson deserving of listening to, they tied up the wife in the bedroom next to her husband(Who himself had gone down fighting) and set the place on fire. The kid, who they had found and taken to the ground with a shot to the foot, was left outside the house, but was none the less left laying in a pool of the gasoline they'd use to douse the abode itself. Needless to say, the wife did not make it, and they thought themselves done with the place and everyone there. However, as four days passed, they went back to find the child still giving breath, albeit weakly, and with scars covering the left half of his body. A duo of the outlaws still in the gang at the time made a case for the kid's tenacity, and so Cole was inducted into the group, being taught from a young age to fight. His being raised by the bandits gave them a well needed common bond, and let what humanity remained in them show through. Cole himself grew up into a practically paradoxically optimistic young man, with an affinity for sharpshooting and the ladies. (The latter of which, due to his appearance, often leads to disappointment.) Now 18, Cole has found himself a valuable asset to the group, if an oddball. The veteran members among the outlaws hold him in higher regard than the newer additions, as his sometimes annoyingly cheery personality can get on the nerves of those who did not help cultivate it.
