Story line:

New York City. It's where everyone wishes to go at some point in their life. Then there are the people who wish to go there to make their dream come true. The natives of New York call them The Wanderers.

A few years back, so many Wanderers started coming into the city, that people started opening up wayward houses where rent was cheaper. This helped all of The Wanderers get on their feet and go towards their dreams. It also brought all of The Wanderers together, learning about each other and helping one another out on the ladder to success. Sadly, most of them didn't achieve their dreams, and went back to their home states.

Since then, almost no Wanderers have come to New York and there is only one Wanderer home open: Beth's Wayward Home for The Wanderers. But now, more Wanderers are coming to New York, and the home is about to get some new occupants.

Age: 20

Wanderer or native?: Native

If a native, how is the character associated with the house or The Wanderers?: The house is a family owned establishment, and she's helped run it with her mother and brother for quite a while.

Personality: Maggie's sweet but always been a bit of a realist. She's bright but quiet. She's easy to like because she's trustworthy. She's fiercely loyal. She's always found listening to the dreams of others' a bit amusing, but she would never talk them down. She's charismatic and easy to talk to once you draw her out of her shell.

Crush/bf/gf: None right now

Other: She's a fidgeter-she's always doing something with her hands. She has two brothers and a sister; her parents were divorced when she was 15. Cooper went with her dad, and his twin brother stayed with her and her mom. Cooper is homophobic, and Cameron....is not.

Accepted! Thanks for joining! I will write the first post in a little bit.

Bronwin got out of her old, beat up car once she had parked it. There was a big house in front of her and the sign said 'Beth's Wayward Home for The Wanderers. "Well I guess this is the place." Bron walked up the steps and opened the door. In the giant living room there were couches surrounding a tv and a sort of check in desk by the door. "Um, hello?" She hoped someone was actually here to help her.

Maggie balanced a large pile of filing boxes so she could organize the papers at the front desk. "Sorry," she apologized, rushing into the front room and behind the desk, dropping the boxes easily without them toppling. She pushed her hair out of her face, hoping she didn't sound as flustered as she actually was. She adjusted her blouse before turning to welcome the girl with a smile. "How can I help you?"

"I was wondering if you had any rooms left. This is the only place I can really afford right now, so I thought I would cOme in and see." Bron looked around. There didn't seem to be anyone there. Maybe they were just out. Or maybe they haven't had anyone here in a while.

Maggie looked at her in slight surprise, wondering if she was joking. "Well, actually, we have a lot of rooms open," she responded wryly. She unlocked the drawer with the unopened guest information binder. "So, if you actually would like to stay here, you'll have your pick of the lot," she informed her, taking out a pen. "Any particular preferences for a room?" She asked, tapping her fingers against the pen.

"Do you happen to have anything with a good view? It might give me some inspiration." Bron shrugged and put her hands in her pockets. She had a writers block and maybe a good view would spark something.

Chris got out of the taxi with only a backpack and payed the driver, he checked the direction he had written on a piece of paper, the number on the building was correct.

There was a car parked outside, maybe there was someone there already, Chris pushed the door slowly, it was open, he went inside and noticed two girls near a desk.

Chris didn't mean to interrupt so he looked around, there seemed to be no one else, the place wasn't bad, at least not for him.

Maggie considered a moment. "Writer or an artist?" she asked, conversationally as she waved her hand slightly to gesture for the girl to follow her. She grabbed a room key before heading to the stairs with her binder. "We have a room with a few of the little courtyard we have in the back, but there's not much to view in this city. But it's plenty pretty. We have gardens." She caught sight of the boy step in and paused in her footsteps. "I'll be with you in just a moment," she promised.

Bron looked over her shoulder at the guy and waved hr looked oddly familiar. She then followed the girl to her soon to be room. "I'm actually a singer, but I write original songs as well as sing covers. I've been wanting to get a new song done, but I just can't think of anything."

Maggie raised her brow ever so slightly at that. How...realistic. She nodded slowly, not putting voice to her thoughts. "Ah," she said, unlocking the door to the simple but tastefully furnished room. "The bathroom's right there," she pointed. "And you have free rein of the house as long as the doors are unlocked and you don't roam in other guests' rooms..." she trailed off, trying to remember if she was missing anything. "Oh! Meals are served at 8:30 AM, 1:00 PM, and 7:00PM. If you happen to miss a meal, the kitchen is open to you and we have a table of snacks we keep out all day."

Overhearing the girls before they went away, it seemed like one of them was in charge of the house, or at least the rooms, Chris walked towards the desk and stood there, he assumed he was the next as there wasn't anyone else.

I wonder how long has this house been here, is it new or is it that most of the people are wealthy unlinke me and can afford better places? he tought.

"Thank you so much." Bron looked around the room. It wasn't bad at all for what she was paying, and there were free meals! She sat down on the bed and looked out the window. "Yeah. I Think I could get used to it here." She smiled to hersel and sighed happily.

Maggie smiled slightly at that and rested the room key on the night stand. "I need to go down and help the boy that just came in. Feel free to make yourself at home," she said before turning and heading back downstairs. "How can I help you?" she asked, starting to mark that room 12 A was occupied in the binder.

Chris didn't notice the girl coming downstairs and as she spoke to him, he got a bit startled.

"Oh hello, I'd like a room I guess, I read this wasn't an expensive place." Chris answered to the girl, a little nervous just like every time he met someone, he was worried that his nerves were noticeable in his voice.

Maggie smiled, hoping to put him at ease. "You read correctly," she replied. "Any specifications for type of room?" she asked him, sorting through another few room keys.

"Well, I think with a desk where I can write if possible." Chris said, feeling a little more calm.

"My name is Chris by the way." he said while smiling shyly.
