He smiled back watching her as she walked up the stairs. Things might be looking up, he could have picked worse places to crash in....Or was this just the eye of the storm. He did not know though what he did was that he wasn't out of the woods yet, not by a long shot. He tried not to think about it and set himself a bed on the couch. The couch was short for him with his feet sticking out of the other side of the arm rest, but it was dry, quite, warm and had some cushion, somethings he couldn't get under a railway bridge. He lay back on the couch and closed his eyes trying to catch some sleep despite finding it difficult to switch off his mind of his worries of being caught. He managed like he always did but his sleep was restless. He began to mumble random words of fear and concern. Tossing and turn followed, knocking his surrounding as tears and sweat began to appear his mumbling become louder and more distressful. Then he woke up in a gasp, sweating profusely and breathing heavily. He sat up on the bed and hunched over covering his head with hands as he tried to calm himself. He checked his watch he slept only a couple of hours, at least that was more then usual.
