I can totally see Serafi and Aleda getting off on the wrong foot since Serafi tried to go to Chau for treatment and was rejected and Aleda grew up weary of outsiders, probably people of Afi even more so because of their rumored low morals. When introduced, Serafi may call her little bird instead of small wings.

Name: Harlie Olivine

Age: 19

Birthplace: Mzai

Position: Vessel

Birthstone: Peridot, located on the left side of the chest directly over the heart

Gender: Male

Personality: Harlie lacks an actual concept on life as he believes nothing is major unless it threatens someone's life, this causes him to have a lack of concern for certain things other people are normally worried about. Through this he expresses his playful side as he loves to pull pranks and make up puzzles or complex situations that others have trouble with along with going through these himself. He also finds himself often being creative when trying to come up with plans or strange situations that might occur coming up with strange an abstract ideas normally not really possible. While doing these he finds himself sometimes getting in trouble and gains an extremely hot temper whenever someone gets upset at him for doing something. Even when he is angry he always keeps a philosophy close to his heart 'When bad things happen to you even worse things happen to someone else' and no matter what he will always try to see both the good and bad in people. He also is an extreme hugger and needs to have social interactions with others to function.

Appearance: His body is built slim, and he is somewhat lanky. He often wears loose and light colored clothing along with carries a parasol everywhere along with him, due to him burning easily along with having a completely messed up complexion through out his traveling, his arms and legs are all completely different shades even being slightly pale from the lack of sunlight in Mzai. His blonde hair is long and uncut and has a bunch of random streaks of color everywhere not even in a pattern, this generally causes him to look extremely messy and uncaring about his appearance.

History: Living underground was always hard for his family, although they loved Mzai they urged to explore he world, his father, mother, and four siblings and him all went exploring cutting through places like the wondrous Mauve, the wild Haritha, and even through Byn. On their last journey they stopped in Elmas, where apparently his father went to make a few trades, after exposing one of the biggest crime lords in the city they found out he was dead along with the youngest brother.After grieving over his death the remaining family members went back to Mzai, along with holding a funeral. A few years passed by and he had to deal with the endless depression of his mother nonstop sobbing and completely forgetting to take care of him, afterwards he eventually had to leave the house faking his mothers signature over custody, not only finding new adoptive parents for them but deciding to adventure out, however as he was leaving he found a unique gem, it was a Peridot which was strangely what one of the buildings were made up in the deepest part of Mzai's underground, he picked it up only to have it leap towards his heart and attach he was knocked back, however he continued.

After all this was gonna be the perfect chance to explore there was, thiers no way he would give this up for anything.

Strengths:

• Can Imitate or Mimic the form of another person having little to no Physical differences

• Is excellent at cutting and styling hair although he often refuses what other people what and makes a crazy and abnormal style.

Weakness:

• His vocal system along with his periodot gem stays the same whenever he transforms, the gem does however sink in so its not completely noticeable.

• When talking or discussing death he either backs away or stays quite due to his lack of care for the subject.

Weapons: Although doesn't really help much he carries a parasol around him which has an extremely sharp point at top of the pole.

SO, so, so sorry this took me so long to make, I re-fleshed the character 3 times but it kept all deleting and resting, either way I'm upset at myself and feel like this was terrible, also Ill probably make a miner or normal citizen later. Also I still couldn't find a picture. #lowselfesteem, Please and Thank you.

Name: Vadik Caedmon


Age:22


Birthplace:Nuri


Position:Vessel


Birthstone:Topaz on the palm of his right hand.


Gender:Male (please tell me there aren’t 6 males yet.)


Personality: A headstrong defender, Vadik takes his spot in the frontline every time with no consideration of the danger. He knows his place and doesn’t falter, to him loyalty is everything, if it is his to defend he will defend it. He does not joke around and rarely understands sarcasm, he will take his duty as a vessel very seriously. He’s prepared to give his life for the good of his people, oblivious to the faults of the capital.


Appearance:

Vadik wears a lighter armor for relatively fast movement but there are a few stronger plate metals on his chest (under the cape in the picture), his right shoulder, and forearms. The armor is darker and worn, on the contrary his eyes are full of fight. His dark brown hair is unruly at times and he keeps it out of his face with a headband. Most of his clothes are typical Nuri soldier garb, it’s practical.


History:


Conscripted as a Nuri soldier from a young age Vadik didn’t aspire to be much. He was trained to be on the front lines and if he didn’t perform to the best of his ability he would die. He accepted this fate and worked hard to prevent it.


While patrolling the capital’s marketplace a vender yelled for a guard. As Vadik arrived the vender pointed to a thief making off with a chest of valuables. Vadik chased the young woman down and held her firmly to the ground demanding to know if she removed anything from the box. Reluctantly she placed a topaz in his open palm, the gem sunk in to his skin. He cursed at her thinking he was tricked but as he lost consciousness he saw the confusion in her eyes. The vender caught up a few moments later, retrieved the box and the girl was already gone. He cursed the foolish guard that was defeated by a petty thief and left the body unconscious with very little investigation into the missing gem.


When Vadik woke up in the alley he was surrounded by a family of 3 rats which he told to shoo and were gone in moments. Thinking nothing of it, he covered the gem with bandage and hid it from his commanders the strange nursery rhyme stuck in his head.


A few days pass, it’s just an injury on his hand, no one expects a thing. Everything was slowly normalizing, but because of his failure to catch a simple thief he was sentenced to cavalry maintenance. He found the horses to be almost too complacent with his presence. They seemed to be almost listening to him as he complained about his failure, one even seemed to comfort him. All of it was very bizarre and he was happy to be reassigned to guard duty.


Finally, back in the marketplace he was approached by the woman from before. Once again he chased her to a back alley but this time she was prepared. A much larger man came up behind him and knocked him unconscious this time leaving a large bruise on the back of his head.


Later on the journey to the jewel’s temple the two introduced themselves and calmed him, preparing him for the meeting ahead, but doing very little to explain his situation.


Strengths: Controls animals through an established mental link, Staff combat, Mounted combat


Weakness: Weak to sneak attacks/unobservant, he mentally feels the pain of any animal linked with him, he doesn’t understand the concept of weapons that use only one hand


Power Details: (this wasn't asked for but I want it for myself) He cannot speak with animals, instead there is a stream of consciousness he can tap into, this allows him and the animals to communicate through feelings they can both relate to. Any commands he wishes to use on an animal against their will requires him to form a mental link with the animal, forced intrusion is mentally taxing and can cause debilitating headaches. A willing animal is much easier to control and can make a wonderful companion. Controlling more than one animal at a time is currently overwhelming and takes practice to understand the barrage of emotions from more than one being.


Weapons:A long pole staff, hardwood with metal handholds at various points great for blocking sharper weapons.

Birthstone: Emerald, on her left palm


Gender: Female


Personality: Caeda is a free spirit. While she loves nature and feeling grass between her toes, she rarely shows her excitable side to others, afraid that people will think she's weird. She is very shy and doesn't like voicing her opinions much, keeping many of her thoughts to herself. She loves being a follower, and can turn even the most boring job into something fun. She values all nature very highly, and apologizes to every animal she kills to eat.


Appearance:

Caeda has a mop of long, curly hair, which she'll pull back if she gets too hot or is hunting. She prefers light clothing and likes being barefooted, and usually has some sort of grass pieces sticking to her hair or clothes.


History: Caeda grew up in a family of nomads. Living in such a big group, she never had to take the lead, and never really wanted to. She was trained to hunt from a young age, and took to hunting on her own after being intimidated by the others. One day, while hunting by herself, she found a small green shiny... thing. Thinking it to be some sort of egg, she picked it up, and was surprised when it leaped into her hand, seemingly fusing itself to her skin. She panicked, getting a sudden headache, and when she showed her family, they said they had never seen anything like it. The Jewels arrived a few days later, and she went with them, frightened, hoping to learn what had happened to her, and hopefully get this thing off of her hand.


Strengths: +Can see the future +Strong +Good hunter


Weakness: -Gets horrible headaches after visions -Wanders often -Can be manipulated due to low self esteem


Weapons: Spear - staff (pictured above), though with a point at the end
