Fantasy The True Strength of The Warrior

"You may think that..." Isaac said coughing "But I am the White Strider and I will not be defeated so easily!" He stabbed his dagger into the unknown enemies foot while he was gloating he may be as arrogant as me he thought to himself.

Night growled, slamming his large shield into Isaac's face. "You, the white strider?" He laughed, "I thought you were supposed to be a good fighter, guess I'm wrong."

Isaac stood up the top of his forehead now bleeding and stumbled to gain his balance "I will not let you dishonor the legacy this name carries!" he said he said readying himself and gaining his balance he took defense this time waiting for his opponent.

Night laughed, "How noble...too bad you won't be around that long..." Night lunged forward, slamming the end of his spear repeatedly into Isaac's head, attempting to beat him down.

Isaac raised one of his daggers to intercept the remaining of the blows, but he got quite a few good hits in as blood continued to trickle down his face but Isaac sidestepped and took a stab at the enemies mid-section

Night chuckled, the dagger sticking in his side, the dagger helping to prevent blood from just pouring out, kicking him away, lunging towards the king, using his wings to propel himself forward, burying the head of his spear into the king's gut, twisting it. "Don't worry, I didn't forget you old man."

Night chuckled, flicking one of his wings, the arrow catching in it. "Well, seems you should have bowed down, doesn't it?" He rips the spear out, the sickening sound of guts hitting the ground echo's trough the hall.

"No..." Isaac just looked towards the throne as his king began to slowly fall he was awestruck how could he have failed? How? he asked himself this many times but nobody gave him an answer.

Night slowly walked towards Issac, smiling, "Run." Night smiled, the head of his spear pointed at Issac. "Go and tell whomever you wish, Trest has fallen to the Night Raven"

Isaac turned and said "I will return." and ran out of the building as if he were being chased never once looking back he ran out of town telling as many people to flee as he could and saving people who needed him but it didn't matter he failed it was just like his village many years ago but this time he would return but not without help he made his way through the woods passing many of his previous battle grounds before arriving at a small he knocked quickly on the door saying "Artorias open up please." in a out-of breath tone

Christina jerked a little bit at the sudden noise, and realized she wasn't appropriately attired as she slid on a longer dress.

"Artorias, dear, can you get the door?" She inquired as she went into another room to tie up her hair.

Christina froze amidst braiding a strand of her hair as she spun, going to door, "Who!?" her tone was rambunctious as she peeked from the safety of her home.

She stopped for a moment, the king she once served had died. She felt her heart cringe in pain as she swallowed a terrible lump in her throat. "Night Raven... An army of the undead?"

"Yes I tried but he overpowered and as I was down he killed the king I shot an arrow at him but he caught with his wing I couldn't do anything from there.

"A wing!?" Her own twitched a little as she found a slight resemblance, "He couldn't be... Myran's champion, could he... No, I would have been informed..."

Artorias looked up, a feeling of dread overtaking him. "Wing? You sure you're not hallucinating?" He looked at Christina, confused, "Do you have an idea about what happened dear?"

"That's impossible Myran only let you come back to earth right?" Isaac questioned but on the other hand this Night Raven did have wings even used them in battle.

"I... No, I am the only one who came back... I'm sure of it..." She hooked her arms through Artorias'. "We'll be alright... but this is why I wanted to have a home out here... I didn't want any more trouble like this..." She put her hand on her stomach, thinking of the child that has yet to be born.

Isaac remembered about their soon to be child and said "You do not need to come I only wished to inform you to be on your guard." How could I be so stupid he asked himself "I will regain the castle and the white striders honor." he said going to exit the house.

She felt a few fleeting and well thought breaths escape her nostrils as she placed her hand to her head.
