“Ok,” he steps out of the prison while more officers come in to apprehend Gargoyle. “Hobgoblin got away, I don’t like that, that guy came in her just to free him. He must’ve been working for someone, but who would want Ned Leeds of all people out of jail?”

Amy nods and walks beside him with a small nod loking over "i know what you mean"

“Sorry, I was just thinking out loud, I’m not used to working with anyone.” He said a little embarrassed.

She shakes her head and smiles "its okay i get it"

“Uhh.... well, I think we’ve earned a lunch break, wanna go grab a bite before I go back on patrol?”

"yes i think so and yea sure" she says with a small laugh nodding.

“There’s a sandwich place around here called Bennys’ I saved the owner and he gives me a freebie whenever I stop by, I can ask him if he’ll allow me an extra, meet me on the roof.” He swings over.

"okay "she says watching him with a small smile,

He asks the owner for an extra one for his friend, he gladly agrees and gives him one. Johnny meets Amy up on the roof with the 2 sandwiches, “here you are m’lady.”

Amy moves up to the roof to wait and smiles when she sees him taking one "thank you"

He sits down next to her, moving his mask up a bit so he can eat. “How long have you been with SHIELD?”

She smiles and sits down beside him looking over well...lets think....i think about 5 maybe 6 years"

“Do you...enjoy it?”

"yea i do to be honest...well...sometimes.."

“When do you not like it?”

 

[Asgards Valkyrie]

"well when they all give me looks or send me on issions just to get rid of me"

“Why would they do that? That’s just...rude.” He said trying to lighten the mood a bit.

"yea i suppose it is and i dont know"

“Why do they give you looks? Cuz of the Thanos thing?”

"yea i think so"

He sat for a minute thinking. “Were...they just trying to get rid of you when we met?”

She looks over and looks over "i dont know"

“Well, if it is true, then sorry I met you on a throwaway mission.” He said that in a bit of a somber tone. For some reason, the fact that he might’ve met her and fell for her just because someone else didn’t want her around just made it feel less special somehow.
