Fantasy The Silverbell Few: OOC

Hey all, I've been super super sick for most of today, so apologies for not doing either of the things that I said I'd do above today. I'll get on them tomorrow instead.
 
So as far as systems go, there are a few things that we could look at.


The first would just be something simple, like a light D&D derivative, maybe with a few loose stats, in order to keep things a little loose. The second would be something more along the lines of GURPS, the lite version of which is available for free. GURPS tends to be a little dice-heavy, so depending on whether or not people want to leave a lot of things up to mechanics, I would or wouldn't recommend it.


On the other end of the spectrum is a system called FATE, which is mostly narrative-based, since it mostly functions off of free-form character traits that are used as part of the system. It's rather flexible, and cares less about building characters out of stats and skills, and more about using their concepts in order to manipulate the game. It also has an even faster and simpler version called FATE Accelerated, which, though super simple and fun, also doesn't feel very RPG-ish, in a traditional sense.


The last possibility would be something that's kind of a mash of FATE and GURPS that I put together a little while ago and sort of set aside that I call Fiddle, though it might be little complex, and I haven't actually tested it yet either.

I've never rped any sort of combat with any sort of mechanic other than illustrious and sensible writing. So I'm more inclined to the simplest of the lot, whichever that is. That being said, I'm ok with picking up whatever is decoded upon.

Note that we don't really have to use a system in the first place anyway; it's more there as an option, since some people like a little RPG-ishness to be added on to things like this, but it's not a necessity at all.
 
@yonmita rae gotta say I'm digging your character so far. Her personality kind of reminds me of a sailor lol. One of the adventurous types :P

Once everyone's smaller scenes are complete, we'll continue! I had a very busy week, but thankfully things are far clearer now.
 
Sorry I've taken a while things have been...chaotic. I'd be fine with a time skip I think we're all in a position to move on
 
I'll give that scene in progress another day or so, then I'll set up the timeskip so that we can get going.

Ceros Ceros No worries! I figured that we would lose a person or two in the mess that the site revamp was due to create.

I've been meaning to link everything back together again, so I'll do that soon.
