Realistic or Modern The Shipyard

Sounds good, but don't you think everyone has strayed from the actual plan? Like, first, Erika called out for Alvarez, which I think wasn't in the plan, and now, we're waiting to see Alvarez leave and interact with Alex.

Christ.

@Der Eine

Lol, I'm kinda glad Switch isn't in the midst of the party mess. That's all over the place rn.

Sooooo, I'm gonna change the subject momentarily to what is relevant to my lil corner of the storyline:

The apartments. Like, how big are these rooms/what's the setup? I was initially thinking they were like small dorm size/studio type setting, but @Quarantine mentioned Ria sitting on a couch and interacting with a TV stand (thanks for that, btw, because when you'd initially said "empty room" I wasn't sure if that empty empty with zero furniture or just had some basic stuff). If there's room for a couch, does that mean this is an actual apartment building where there's a front living room area, kitchen/kitchenette, bathroom, and bedroom? Or is it like a room in a nicer hotel where it's still all one big space, but said space is big enough for both a lounge/couch type area as well as the bed? Or is it still a small dorm type setup where maybe the couch is a pullout?

This may seem trivial, but I like to know what my setting is, so whatever deets can be provided would be appreciated (particularly since Switch is just moving in and getting himself set up). I didn't want to just make something up because that would sort of dictate the room dimensions of the other players' spaces.

@Quarantine @Pyro @ZebraWolf

I'm having a hard time of getting Mira back into the story T.T I'm thinking of letting Mira stumble inside the kitchen from the backdoor acting all drunk or whatever T.T SOMEONE HELP.

Or I could just have Oliver arrive early and start the exploding stuff, then the fight between the Black Cats and Alvarez's goons can ensue! Let us allow this train to go down in history!! xD

EDIT: I edited my last post, btw. Because it seemed no one notice Mira at the car meeting up with the others T.T

Alex did!

The Fox nearly waved back at Mira, but just settles for nodding at her, what a desirable personality, professional enough to focus and yet casual enough to wave at her colleagues at the same time. It was a spectacle in itself.

OH. daaaang. Wait, I gotta edit it back xD Thanks, Kaed.

EDIT: NVM. I completely missed Alex's wave and forgot what I originally wrote D; that's fine, though it seems the mission is really going out of hand xD

Loving David's description on the website.

I've actually been wondering this as well @Quarantine . Tried to be vague about the dimensions of David's room in my posts wherein he was in it so far, but I'm not certain that I could go on being vague about it. :'D

It is a luxury building... which I was going to quote from the overview but then realized I didn't include that. It's safe to assume they make a lot of money, as Ria mentioned some 400 dollars an hour for her service, so it would be unusual to have a small apartment building. We REALLY need to get the plot moving, to add in what I want to. BRB.

...Except emptier. Includes kitchen(seen right middle of first image) and there is a bathroom and bedroom on the loft.

@ToWhomeverThisMayConcern

Oh, shit, yeah, not was I was picturing at all, lol. I realize they make a lot of money, but I wasn't sure if they were trying to keep things discreet, ya know? And it looked like some of the other characters were pretty much going from their bed area to straight noticing the notes slipped under their door, so I wanted to double check. I wasn't picturing a rundown building or anything, just wasn't sure how luxurious it actually was.

I'm going to have to go back in and edit his reaction to first entering the apartment. He's been holed up in a little studio for awhile. This is way more than he was expecting.

As far as plot goes, if you're talking on our end of things, I'm kind of following your lead. In the email you had Jess write to Switch, it sounded like he wasn't really supposed to be in on this Alvarez gig--sort of an implied, "Hey we're going to be out all night on this case, but we'll hook up when I get back," sort of vibe. So, yeah, unless Ria drags him into it on her own, or she leaves and he sneaks online to gather up intel behind her back, I can't do much until I get the right prompt.

That's something I should've included, and I'm really regretting it. Thank you guys for bringing it up!

I'll actually make a change to the plot in my next post with Ria, which @ZebraWolf and I have been working on for a while.

By the way, I was laughing after reading Q's Post, and my three year old brother came over. I asked him if he thought [Ria's picture] was pretty, and he said, "Yes. The big head purple one. Scary." It was so perfect.

Wait, in the Website, it says [Address @Quarantine], does that mean we can PM you if we want to like... I don't know waste time on a mission for a specific person or something?

Nononono. I just did that for the effect. You can PM me for anything, but that wasn't the purpose I added it in for. Contact information is just commonly found on most websites.

I would, but the plot twist I was wasn't talking about is coming up soon, and may split up BC entirely. Still working on it. I think I'm putting way too much effort into this.
In afterthought, it might work out. If you want to try it, I can do it.

Shit. Sorry, on my phone. It didn't say I had a new message. I apologize. :/

LOL! Awesome. That kid knows what's up.

And no biggie, it wasn't a big fix. I just added a couple sentences to the original post where he first got dragged into the apartment, and made some other minor adjustments here and there. Not even noticeable, really. I'm just a little OCD when it comes to those little details. But, yeah, I'm glad we covered that because he has to get his other things moved in from his old place and now I have a feel for how he's going to get himself set up. There are anime and comic book figurines that need to have homes, after all! And robot parts. And general other random bits of wires and circuit boards and shit that he's probably going to clutter his super nice place up with, lol. He's gotta have his beanbag chair, too. Because it's better than the couch...? He's an odd duck. Don't question it, lol.

@too much idea[/URL]
Alex was already out of the car the moment he heard a commotion from inside, he was terrified when he saw Jess running out of the building with Alvarez coming after her with a gun.
This is it. The Fox whispers under his breath before flicking his arm outwards, springing the trigger in the sleeve holster, sending a small pistol to slide forward and into Alex's hand. The shooter immediately lowers his head and shoulders, trying to make a smaller target for the kingpin to hit as he fires off a round. A shot rings from Alvarez's gun, flying right over Alex's head. Another shot comes from Alex's gun, hitting Alvarez in the chest, but not registering in the drug-lord's mind that he was hit. Another shot from Alvarez, this one flying right past Alex and landing in the car, tearing open two windows on opposing sides.

This is it. The Fox tells himself again, sending off another shot and hitting Alvarez in the temple, causing the man to stumble back but fire one more shot in Alex's direction. As the drug-lord hits the ground, his body rolls two times, giving off its final death throes right on its own lawn. Alex, seeing the target down, immediately realizes that he himself had been hit in the final volley of bullets. He feels around for a second or two before realizing he had been hit in the side of the neck by Alvarez's last and final shot. The Fox stumbles backwards before collapsing onto the side of the car. he grips the handle, opening the car and lifting himself into the back seat, trying to sit up and stabilize himself but finding it harder and harder by the second to find any strength in his body.

I did ask to speed it up... xD

Oh, no, I was talking about Alvarez, lol. At the bottom of @Quarantine's last post she mentioned maybe keeping him around for awhile. Or I thought that's who she was talking about, anyway. I figured you weren't actually killing Alex just yet. In the fanfic world I'm like the queen of nearly killing my bebes, lol. I totally get the need for some good whumps. ;)
