Lily, a female wolf was sitting perched by a stream. She paws at the water curiously and flinches at how cold, yet refreshing it was. She dips her head in and then began to lick at the water. She wasn't far from the pack territory, so she knew no one would worry about her. She was a shy little wolf, and often wandered about by herself, not taking much interest to anyone else in the pack. She soon wanders over to a tree and curls up beside it, she soon closes her eyes for a rest.

Shadow stretched out his large muscular body as he got up for a new day. He smiled and flicked his tail as he walked out of his den with a smile. He nodded friendly at the rest of hte pack which was slowly waking up as well. He drank some water from a part of the river that also ran through their camp. He smiled as he looked up at the sky, knowing it would be quite a beatiful day. He went looking around a bit to see if everybody was fine, especially paying some extra attention to the pups within the camp.

 

[Narumi]

Lily, after a few minutes eventually stood up again and then began to wander back to pack camp. She sat along with some other wolves, though she stayed close to her siblings, which included her brother and sister. She was the shyest of the two, and didn't have a mate unlike them. She was also the baby. She soon wanders back to her den and settles inside there, seeming to shy to interact with the other members of the pack.

Shadow smiled as everything seemed to be fine with all members of his pack, but he knew he had missed someone. "Where's Lily..." he asked himself as he trotted to her den and smiled as he spotted her. "Hey Lily. How are you?" he asked with a friendly smile and a flick of his tail. He stayed outside her den and only peeked his head outside, out of pure respect for his pack members. He didn't feel like their Alpha should just come into their homes without permission even though most of them gave it him right away.

 

[Narumi]

Lily's eyes flutter open and she nods vaguely, as if saying to him that she was okay. She then begins to eat by herself, she had recently found some meat, un-poisonous berries and other fruits. She didn't hunt with the others, she often hunted during the night and then huddled all of her food in her den for the morning.

 

[WolfClawsKevin]

Shadow sighed as he walked away from her den again. Even though she had said she was okay, he still felt quite worried about her. He didn't understand why she was so shy while her siblings were doing just fine. He sat down on a large rock in the middle of the camp and looked at Lily's sibling while thinking about their sister.

 

[Narumi]

Lily soon decides to join the rest of the pack and she sits with her siblings who were sitting with the rest of the pack who were in a circle, gazing at the alpha male. She curls up by her brother and places her head on her paws as she gazes around at he pack, her tail wagging slightly.

 

[WolfClawsKevin]

Shadow barely noticed that the pack was looking at him. He looked up with perked his ears as he spotted Lily in the circle, which was quite odd. He smiled and flicked his tail, looking at her and her siblings.

 

[Narumi]

Lily notices this and she looks down shyly. She watches as some of the males and females began bonding, she was quite aware that it was mating season for wolves but she couldn't see any males there that she was interested in. She had to admit to having a slight crush on the alpha male, but he was well out of her league.

 

[WolfClawsKevin]

Shadow had a great view from the top of the rock and could therefor easily manage to inspect the females, but every single time his gaze ended up back at Lily. He couldn't help but flick his tail everytime his eyes inspected her body. He sighed and laid down, trying to keep the others away, not being interested in them.

 

[Narumi]

Lily was surprised when some of the males approached her and then nuzzle her gently, she does the same and then let's them nip at her ears and lick her fur, grooming her. Some would growl at each other and push them away from her, as if they wanted her all to themselves and were trying to already mate with her.

 

[WolfClawsKevin]

Shadow got up and jumped off his rock. Everybody froze, knowing the Alpha could potentionally pick a mate as well. Shadow gave slight nod in Lily's direction and all the males instantly moved aside. Shadow smiled slightly and passed through the males, flicking his large fluffy tail in their faces. He lowered his head slightly out of respect for a female and then gently pressed his nose against hers without saying a single word.

 

[Narumi]

(Lily's)

 

[Narumi]

Lily watches as the alpha male approaches her and does this, she lightly nuzzles him and then sat beside him, placing her head underneath his chin as she began to groom his fur lightly, just like the other wolves would do. She seemed happy around him, or another wolf for once. Her tail was wagging gently.

 

[WolfClawsKevin]

Shadow smiled and flicked his tail as he saw Lily wasn't that shy after all as she started to groom his fur. "Lily... Do you want to be my mate?" He asked with a smile. The male wolves around them held a safe distance, respecting the Alpha's choice.

 

[Narumi]

Lily nods vaguely as she licks underneath his chin and then smiles back. "Of course I'll be your mate" She she's in return to his request. She paws at his chest and then settles by his feet, curling up beside her new mate as she places her head onto her paws and sighs happily. She never knew she would get a mate, let alone the head alpha.

 

[WolfClawsKevin]

Shadow smiled and stood proudly above his new mate. The males lowered their heads and then quickly left the two alone. Shadow smiled and curled up around her, licking her cheek a little while he curled his tail around hers.

 

[Narumi]

Lily would stay close to her mate as most wolves would do, she would love him with all of her heart like no other, apart from her parents or family, or close friends. She would now share a den with him and often suprised him with food in the mornings, she finally had someone to be close to and wasn't as alone as she thought.

 

[WolfClawsKevin]

It felt like Shadow's mission to keep Lily close and safe. Wolves became afraid of trying anything with Lily or teasing her with her shyness, which Shadow also tried to work on. He couldn't have a shy Alpha female so he hoped she would soon feel more confident.

 

[Narumi]

Lily was currently wandering around thaf night to catch some food for herself and her mate in the morning. She watches as a tall and dark wolf approaches her and then reaches out and whacks her face, she whines softly and howls as he pounces on her.

 

[WolfClawsKevin]

Shadow was in his den in a deep sleep and didn't know Lily had left. He perked his ears immediately at the familiar whine and immediately ran of his den towards the source of the whine.

 

[Narumi]

Lily's soft whines were muffled by the opposite wolves' heavy weigh upon her as she was being squished. She tries to get him off of her as she manages to flick her tail back and forth in annoyance.

 

[WolfClawsKevin]

Suddenly there was a loud growl and the wolf was tackled off Lily. Shadow was standing over theother wolf, growling loudly and bringing his fangs close to its throat. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!"
