Just call me Church
(I was in a school band for three years, and we marched in four parades during that time. I played an Alto Sax.)
I continue to trudge deeper into the forest, slowly growing bored. I thought I would have at least found something in this forest that could peek my interest and use up time. But, of course, I have come IP with nothing.
"Figures," I say, swatting at a branch blocking my path. I then walk around the swaying frond. "My luck that I would come into this damn place so I could find something to do, but I only find nothing. Of course I would." As I continue to grumble a little more, my head snaps up as I start to pick up little bits of noise. So I can listen better, I stop walking and remain stock still. As I did before, I let a little bit of the Wolf out so I can hear better. I can't hear what is causing the noise, but there are occasion loud bursts of noise amid the more quiet bits, and it sounds to be coming from farther in the forest. Maybe there is something interesting there?
Keeping my hearing up, I start to walk as fast as I can while still being able to at least vaguely hear the noise.
