Fantasy The School for the Supernatural

My eyelids slowly retract, my eyes drowsy. Sun filters into my dorm through the window above my bed. The light just barely misses my face, lighting up my body instead. I take a lazy stretch, glad that I could finally sleep in for once. I glance at the alarm clock next to my bed, then I close my eyes to stretch again. Oh, this is ni-

My head snaps around, and my now wide eyes rest on the clock. My heart sinks as I realise that I have slept in, and I am most likely late for my class. Damn! I must have forgotten to set my alarm last night.

"Oh, gods. I'm screwed," I utter under my breath, my distress evident as I cover my face with my hands.

I am up in an instant, now wide awake. I haven't unpacked yet since I have gotten here, so I just grab the closest clean shirt and jeans out of my suitcase. The shirt is a plain royal blue shirt with a slight v-neck in the front of the collar, and my jeans are my normal pair. I quickly slip out of my pajamas, into my undergarments and clothes, and then grab my small back and sling it over my shoulder. The last thing I do I slip on and tie my Brooks shoes, my figures quick and sloppy with haste. Then I stand and bolt out the door, heading for my class.

Cedric could here the sounds of fight behind him but he ignored it, pressing on. "They sound like they really are going at it back there."

(Either...right now the four are in the woods, two fighting and two hunting and Nichole is in her dorm ^^)

Hayden glanced back but kept walking. "That's their problem...not mine," she said softly. She once again unconsciously grabbed Cedric's hand tightly as she turned ahead and kept walking.

(Lol. Okay. Thank you.)
I run as fast as I can to the classroom, while trying to also run without making a huge racket. I slide to a stop when I get to the door, and turn to enter the room. I expect to see a room full of students staring back at me, but the room is empty. Frowning, I pull a paper out of my pocket. This is the right room, right? Sure enough, it says that my class is in this room, and it should be in session right now. I walk inside a few steps and look around, confused about what to do.

In the end, I decided to just leave. Might as well, since the class appears to be empty. So I turn around and walk calmly down the hall, back towards my dorm. Once I have deposited my bag on my bed, I leave, and make my way outside the school. Like before, at first I don't know what to do, but I eventually decide to explore the forest surrounding the school. It seems intriguing, and..I hear movement inside it. Whether it is from students or wildlife, I have no clue. But I venture in anyway, curious.

He walked with her not even protesting her holding his hand, he actually liked it. "We may have to go a bit farther for prey this time, finding a dear so close was a boon." He gripped her hand reassuringly.

Hayden nodded and smiled slightly as she felt him grip her hand. She blushed a bit and sped up, looking around more frantically for food, but not finding anything. She pulled her hand away and shifted before taking off at full speed , only stopping to sniff the air.

The trees around the edges of the forest don't have that thick of a canopy. But the farther I walk into the forest, the thicker the trees get, and the shadier it becomes. Soon, there are only spattering of light here and there, dappling the plant life underneath. It appears to be quite dark under here. And although I have a bit of a fear of the dark, I find it very calming. Forests and secluded wild places always do that.

Suddenly, the sound of movement hits my ears. I stand stock still and listen, looking in the direction if the source. I also let a bit of the Wolf out of its cage , giving my eyes more of an amber tint. I do this, obviously, to have more of an advantage in knowing what is making the sound. It makes my hearing and sight sharper, white making my attention more centered. Once I have decided the direction the noise is coming from, I slowly and quietly turn in that direction. I let my instincts kick in, my walking turning into more of a stalk. When I reach a bush that is very close to the sound, it stops, and I stand stock still again. Once the noise comes back, I start my walking again. I try to see if I can identify the animal that the noise belongs to, but I can't smell much of anything in this state. I eventually make my way around the bush, in a half crouch. My heart starts to race as I think about what it could be. A deer? An elk? But, the racing slows to normal when my eyes land on a raven hopping around the roots of a tree, rustling branches and pecking for bugs. I have a brief thought to chase the bird, but then I remember what my parents have been drilling into my head since I was a child- ravens help and respect wolves, whether the wolf be a normal or werewolf. So we should return the favor.

Shrugging off the playful feeling in me, I give the raven one last look before I turn away. The noise I make as I walk through some bushes startles the bird out of his morning snack. It makes a racket of noise as it quickly lights on its wings and flies up and away through the canopy.

( Urgh.... Marching Band is infected with something. Something of fun. Think Mono cause we are all sleeping like non-stop. )

Laughing Rangvaldr leapt forward, swing the hammer with the strength granted to him by the ones above. Few would remark on his faith after seeing things like this, For a true Sklad was able to use a spell, One from every god he worshiped faithfully. His Odin spell was his most balanced, the others of a more strange or singular purpose. He brought the hammer down in a arc straight for the werewolf.

(I used to be in marching band, those were the days... I don't think we ever had any mono though.)

Paul could only look up, waiting for the hammer to come down. "That looks like it's going to hurt." He braced himself for the hammer to connect.

( Base drummer 6 here )

Bringing down the hammer with all the strength of his divinely strengthened body he might as well have smashed a building on his foe. Only the fact that he was supernatural would keep him alive through that type of blow, able to shatter a battle tank. His aura faded as that blow fell, thought the hammer remained. He would not be able to set it down for about an hour now.

(Mediocre trumpet right here.)

Paul was almost flattened by the blow, the ability he'd been using to make himself stronger and faster had also made his body more vulnerable to attack. He felt his ribs break and while it hurt he did pretty well to hide his pain. At almost a whisper he said "ow... I think I might be done." Paul slowly got up to his feet, knowing full well that it wasn't a good idea to "I think you won big guy, that was quite a swing."
