Feeling on edge, Celes’s senses kicked up putting her walls up to protect herself. The winds felt like a strong mana energy it made the hairs on her neck rise. Although, attuned to magic due to in part of having magicite infused into her body as a small child she has a natural magic gift. On the other hand, she kept her guard up. Thankfully Aerin made his way over. “ Some angry person was looking for her. Lucky for us they were taken away by a golem before things got out of control. You have a clue what’s going on? I.. picked up strong mana energy.”

"I don't k-know."He stopped. What had just happened. He hadnt stuttered since he was very young. And now- his mind blanked. What was he just thinking about. He looked around and felt those shadows from earlier closing in. "There's sone kind of mental attack GOIng oN." his voice cracked at the end and they would all feel themselves getting very dull and droopy, their senses significantly cushioned by an outside force.

Upon awakening they would find themselves in a grandieur office. They would all be in sitting positions and a man with a sharp suit greeted them as the owner of the casino. He had blonde hair and a nose ring.

Celes stirs she shakes off the massive head ache pounding at her frontal love her mouth feels dry like sand paper. She stares at the man wearing a clandestine suit and a nose ring. Something told her he’s the casino owner. “ What do you want from us..?” She looks around noticing everyone has been pulled here, she did not like this she did not like this at all.

SILVA ROSEUS

Silva nods as he follows Aerin into the Casino. The air was tense as ever, especially when it’s empty. A slight shiver went up his spine as he ruffled his hair. Something was definitely wrong with this place. Perhaps it was pure intuition he had but that didn’t feel entirely right. When he and Aerin found Celes, he waved at her while he stood a few feet away from them. As he’d watched the interaction, a thick fog plagued itself into his senses. A drowsy feeling came with the fog. All of Silva’s attempts of staying awake have failed before falling into a slumber.

When he woke up, he felt himself seated with the piercing eyes of a higher order. He blinks a few times to get used to his new surroundings before turning his attention up to a blond, tall man who clearly has some sort of authority. “Faex… where am… I?” he muttered under his breath.

The man cleared his voice and smiled "Well, hello there! My name is Julius, owner of the lucky phoenix. But my friends call me Fletch." There wwas a clock above the all. The hand seemed to be moving slowly. He had sensed some strange mana, after all mana in this world was basic, not as complex as the world's they came from. And then, these people just walked in and proceeded to drain his dealers dry? "I see you've been cheating of some sort. Walking in with unidentified mana, as unidentified visitors, and proceeding to cash in? We just can't have that can we?" he shook his head sarcastically, like he was berating a small child. At this point, the group would realize that they had been robbed. Nothing was spared this time, all of their gold and valuables were stripped from them. The man had the crown on his head, with a flower in his shirt pocket. "Ahh i feel just so.. Regal. Fitting for the king of thieves, isn't it?"

Shield-Captain of the Adeptus Custodes
"It is we who guard the golden throne. It is we who hold the power of the Emperor's displeasure in our palms."

༺═────────────═༻

Iskandar might have offered a polite smile underneath his helmet. "Ah. Intriguing. I suppose this...is not Terra. Nor is it somewhere in the Imperium, I presume. Quite curious my master would see fit to place me here..." The heavily armored Custodes swept his helmed head in a slow circle, watching the group with what appeared to be curiosity. "You have my greetings, Ray, Dango, Jane and Lyuda." Despite the fact he looked like he regularly did, in fact, crush skulls with one hand for a living(such was the life of a golden bodyguard), the Custodes was polite enough to introduce himself. Or perhaps that was just his training.
"I am Iskandar Ereshkigal of the Aquilan Shield, Shield-Captain of the Legio Custodes, bodyguard of the Emperor of Mankind, with a full name of over 1374 names, commonly known as the Aquilan Shield of Knight-Centura of the Anathema Psykana and loyal servant of the Imperium. It is a pleasure to meet your acquaintance." Iskandar might have offered a bow, or would have, if not for the fact his armor was in the way, and him bowing would probably be the equivalent of accidentally headbutting a mortal down the stairs. His armor was so lavishly decorated that whomever designed it must have either been a madman, or had some weird obsession with gold. The Custodes seemed to be relatively amused by the current presence he found himself in, at least given the fact he could probably hold up everyone in the casino singlehandely, without even a scratch on that perfect auramite on him. He wasn't even actually moving, simply staring at the drunks with a cold glare.

Something clicked in his armor as the lights flickered off. There was no sound, not even the unsheathing of a blade, simply a soft, almost elegant crackling as a brilliant flash of light flared out from his Sentinel Blade. His movement, too fast for unaugmented eyes to catch, and obscurred by his armor sensors, was barely noticeable even to a tech-priest's advanced sensors. Yet he did not use his sword, not as a sword at least. Instead, Iskandar bent down and grabbed onto one of the wolves, simply tossing it into the air with one fluid motion, watching as it yelped. He was watching it with a look that resembled curiosity before once more, with an effortless flick of his shield, catching and bashing it on the shield's flat surface before sending it flying through the air. He did not seem to notice Laura's words, taking them bluntly at face value. Custodes were not known for having good sarcasm receptors.

"Actually, since none of you are my charge, I am permitted to allow you all to die under the name of the Emperor, and under the excuse of not wasting the Custodes' time. However, that would be rather awkward, as my social conditioning has lead me to believe."

The men Lyuda had put significant effort into subduing (relatively) unharmed had suddenly ruptured, and several lupine entities emerged from their forms. Was this...common? Did these wolves cause the confrontation in the first place? She couldn't tell. The void in her head suddenly felt very dense, as if resisting her attempts to compare what should be based on her very limited memory, with what was happening before her very eyes.

The glowing forms of the...creatures? Spirits? Reminded her of a similar creature she had heard tales of before. From...somewhere? A place that was cold and dark, that resembled home but not quite.

Soul searching could wait, however. The wolves were beginning to tear at the fleeing patrons, clawing and biting at everyone and everything in reach. Which included her little group, of course. Now that was most definitely NOT supposed to happen.

"M-Mister Iskandar..."

The large, positively statuesque man effortlessly disposed of one. It was time to act. Her amber pendant began glowing ever more intensely, some strange will granting her strength in response to the imminent danger. A feeling of flowing, fluid earth emerged in her chest, flowing through her body to empower her instead of weighing her down. She reached around her back, pulling out the warhammer strapped to her. The long, heavy implement was set with purple crystal on both sides of its head, and all along the grip. The flowing sensation within her seemed to clog in her palms where it should flow, as she gripped the weapon. But she could still handle it easily enough, and bring the weight to bear.

Seeing her seemingly freeze up, one of the wolves pounced, the last mistake it would make.

"Uraaaaaaaaa!"

With a small hop, Lyuda brought herself into the air, spinning lengthwise and bringing the hammer down on the wolf, smashing it through a roulette table that just a minute ago was positively packed.

Its packmates were not far behind. Another two leapt at her, but she planted her feet on the ground and spun horizontally, her hammer crashing into them both and flinging them aside.

The movements were familiar, natural to her. How...did she know to do these things?

Taking a few steps back, she stood back to back with the golden man, eyeing what remained of the threat.

Iskandar fought like his brethren: golden, glorious, and with cold efficiency. The Custodian was not exactly well-versed in combat against magical creatures, although they seemed to deal little to no damage against his armor. Eyes narrowed behind the red eyelenses of his helm, his tassels swinging as his genebred muscle lifted the Sentinel Blade and threw it, tossing it in a perfect arc, slamming against the side of a wolf, the sheer side of the sword pinning it to the floor.

"These do not...resemble canines I remember from Terra. Nor from Fenris. Nor daemonic creations." Iskandar mildly observed as he wrapped a large hand around the neck of a wolf, hurling it with a heave of one massive shoulder. He was large enough to eclipse every combatant in the field, even if he had little to no experience with what these creatures were, Custodian training had beaten warfare into his very bones - literally, in some cases. Given his large size, Iskandar was barely moving, instead pivoting in place as his shield caught two wolves near the ribs when they clawed at him, Iskandar bashing them into the nearest wall without pause. A golden arm shoved - with relative gentleness - at the closest patron, knocking them sprawling before a wolf's charge snapped at the place where their neck once was. Iskandar simply lifted one titanic gold-clad boot and stomped upon the wolf's chest, hearing its ribs snap like twigs beneath his weight.

Iskandar offered a quiet smile at the sight of the warhammer. "A brutal weapon. I approve." he spoke, his vox grating slightly as he spun around, pulling out his Sentinel Blade from the floor. Despite lacking the reach of a guardian spear, it was still his favored weapon apparently. Plasma grenades were also stored in compartments beneath his auramite, although Iskandar made no more to reach for them, instead favoring melee. Again, that odd, swift blurring, too fast for the human eye to track, moving deceptively fast for one so large as Iskandar rammed his pauldron into a pair of wolves, sending one flying and crushing the other upon his chestplate. Another civilian was grasped in one titanic gauntlet, Iskandar lifting them up to his chest-level(which happened to be taller than some patrons) as he kicked another wolf hard enough to send it crashing through a wall. He tossed a bag of gold coins afterwards, presumably as an apology for the destruction.

The wolves whimpered and seemed to turn into a breeze, a soft gale seemed to whisper into the groups ear "Help" in a feminine voice before evaporating into a mist. The bar they were at was... well basically gone, nothing remaining but bashed furniture and broken walls. The owner had run into the back with all of his heart. The door locked tightly and the money jingled as it hit the floot. The spirits wandering the roads seemed to disappear at their sight, although the stronger ones kept an eye on them. Eyes could be felt straing at them from all directions, yet nothing was there

SILVA ROSEUS

However abundant his headache didn't erase his confusion, instead amplifying it. Silva didn't pay much attention to the whole money thing he was talking about but unidentified mana? For a second he was sure that this was the spirit realm but perhaps it wasn't. After all, his nation of Vivamus must be recorded or known here. With one of many plant hybrids living in its walls, Silva thought his “mana” must be well known, but perhaps he was wrong.

"But sir...what do you mean thieves?" Silva tilts his head as he tries to stay moderately calm. Looking around the room, Silva tries to find any escape openings. However, trying to find one was hard for him. He knitted his eyebrows, trying hard to make out a plan. After a few seconds, an idea popped into his head. If there was plant life in this place, perhaps they could lead him to escape. “And is there any plant life here?” Silva inquired cautiously, careful not to spoil his idea just yet.

The casino owner looked at him curiously and smiled "Plant life? Ahh, a fellow plant lover I see." His eyes were narrowed cautiously as he turned around and opened his window to reveal a singular rose. His back was turned on the two, as he seemed entranced by the rose. Seemingly thinking of something.

If looks could kill she’d fight her way through she settled on giving the owner a death glare. “ What’s the reason for all of us being here in cloud height?” That question weighed on Celes’s mind. All kinds of thoughts raced through her mind. She’s been through a lot but never she’s kidnapped by magic means.

The owner turned around with a puzzled expression "How should I know any of those foolish questions? All I want to know is how two specimens like you three came to arrive in my lovely casino!"

Aerin Spat back with venom in his voice "Don't call us specimens!" He grit his teeth and stared intensely at the man. Before then he had been keeping his cool and trying to find a way out, but this had made him snap

Celes hasn’t heard being called a specimen in years or the perfect specimen in Gestahl’s eyes after the successful fusion of human and esper unlike Kefka she retained her mind. It stings though she got the ability to use magic. “ How dare you..”She mumbles, Celes has to figure out a way out of this shit hole. She could brute force her way out or magic their way out. When she thought of tapping into her mana the warmth she felt spreading through her body could only mean that she’s learning an unknown spell. Strange, another method is learning from the espers when they turn into magicite. You’re in quite a predicament, aren’t you, eh Celes? Locke was there in spirit.

It was the push Celes had needed her desire to see Locke and her friends pushed her. She desires to feel the warmth of being held in Locke’s arms, his smile and his adventurous spirit, as well as his tenderness towards her. Frowning, she grabs Silvia’s and Aerin’s hands. Signaling they’re getting out of this crap hole. She warped them to somewhere in cloud height, breathing heavily. “ A..are you two okay?”

SILVA ROSEUS

Watching Julius admire the single rose from the window, Silva stared at him. Though he didn't care why Julius called him a specimen, his interest was in the rose. The rose wanted to speak to him as it interacted with the casino owner, drawing him into its petals and rekindle like an old family. Yet, this rose seemed different in a way. Everything about this flower was botanically correct, perfect even, but he couldn't find the instant connection he has with other plants in Vivamus. A reign that was high and all-mighty in Silva's eyes that allowed him to thrive instead of trampling him over was comforting.

A faint smile graced his face as a tingly feeling began to eat in his chest when the thought of the Vivamus government popped in his head. Silva's innocence could only provide him with so much, A hot, painful, tingly feeling telling him that the Vivamus government had done otherwise. He doesn't understand this "feeling"? After all, all government protocols are to protect them so he had no reason to fight back.

Was this still the same situation here, the rose hybrid wonders. After all, Julius seems to have the superiority of the masses and Silva doesn’t want to anger him. But he was still the one who captured him.

Silva frowned, tilting his head disapprovingly. Just when he opened his mouth to say something, he felt Celes’ hand on his and felt some sort of...strange magic around him. It was an odd feeling when he was in its presence.

“Wha…What happened… Where are we even..?” was all that Silva could muster up when they teleported somewhere else.

The casino owner turned around to see they had quietly dissapered "Teleportation? Interesting" he sat down in his chair and pondered.

Are in took deep breaths, looking at celes "Thank you, I am.. Okay." He looked down at the floor "I am sorry I could not have been if more help."
