Elaina ran forward. "I'll heal her. Since she's been given something to help her out already, It'll put her in normal stasis. I can't restore her eyesight though."

Elaina spun her staff. "Right! Heaven's Gate: Restore!"


Arabelle's body glowed white. This process was a lot shorter than last time, as her injuries weren't fatal. Arabelle would sleep normally and wake in the morning, blind but ok

"My lord, dark master, I had them all at my mercy but one of them is a fierce practitioner of some sorcery unknown to me... It burned me, and forced me to reform and return here. Forgive me my master, but I believe she is the biggest threat of the lot."

Ari picked up Arabelle again and laid her on the bed. He sighed. "This complicates everything to the highest degree."

" You know, that healing stuff. I have never seen that type of magic before. " He said, sharpening his blades.

Elaina looked even more confused. "We've been travelling all this time and you haven't seen that I'm a Holy Mage?"

Ethan said nothing for a minute. He drew an ordinary sword from a normal sheath. "Excalibur." The sword turned into the legendary sword, with a white aura. "This sword alone holds more Holy Magic than the girl can generate in 10 years. If I slash you now, you'll never recover. Your pathetic black shroud can't possibly corrupt it. If you lose to a mere child, the last thing you should be whining about is assistance."

Sepentireon laughed and began to rise, turning to Ethan

At that, Sepentireon walked out of the palace and departed from the kingdom with his party

The man stepped forward, using a crutch. "Yes my lord?"


"Torture the beast more. They'll be close enough to hear her cries possibly."

He followed Sepentireon out of the castle. "Last time my sources reported to me, the adventurers have made it to Toron. Try to not get it handed to you this time, weakling. I won't allow you to look into my Lord's eyes with defeat again." Ethan was actually an honorable knight. From his studies in close combat under Alreos, he followed the knight code. He wasn't ruthless like they all were. He just played a part when dealing with them. He had loyalty to Alreos, but he'd never kill a child, nor would he massacre a town like Sepentireon would.

Meanwhile, Ari had tended to his injuries, and Elaina healed up Katherine's wounds. It was quite a bit of time later, so Arabelle would be waking up by now. What would happen now? She now had no eyes. Would she still be able to lead? Or was she done for?

Kathrine now fully healed sat on the bed in which Arabelle layed. A lot has happened since she last saw her. Her leg was replaced with a wooden stump, now her eyes. Which left Kathrine wondering more questions, why had the figure destroyed her necklace? Why had it not killed her? Other questions haunted her as well, if tumors got out that she was alive again... That wouldn't be good for any if them, not only was she an adventurer, but a werewolf. Kathrine stared worriedly out the window, silent.

Sepentireon slowly turned away and hissed. He transformed from his human form into a huge black serpent, made up of countless slimy black tendrils. Ethan could still hear Sepentireons voice

"I will await you in Toron, we shall ambush them once we regroup."

Before Sepentireon disappeared, Ethan managed a retort. "Yea, Yea. You'll devour me with your little molesters...... Keep thinking that, weakling."


Ethan was a squirrel, animated into a human-sized humanoid. His home was still the woodland. His sources were the woodland squirrels, who were loyal to him, though they couldn't fight. They simply supplied him with info at his request. Of course this delusional weakling wouldn't know something like that, or come to that conclusion even with a bit of thought.


Ethan muttered to himself. "Damn fool is so concerned with Holy Magic that he won't just find another user and siphon the info out of him, or at bare minimum ask me about the magic in Excalibur and my Variable (Var) Arsenal. So concerned with being status that he underestimates his opponents........whatever, he'll regret it when he feels the girl's Holy Burn. I ain't fighting a child."





Ethan made it to the outskirts of a huge forest. The forest where he trained. He knew this forest like he knew his tail. He hit his primal stance (all fours to increase speed) and shot through the forest, on the way to Toron
