The Real Us (Private)

Kyouya watched him for a second, "Does it? It doesn't mean that's intentional." He pointed out with a sigh, "Everyone holds them back in one way or another without meaning too." He pointed out. He sighed as he turned it back to him, staring out the window. "I don't know what to tell you..." He muttered, "In our world... surely you know how a wrong move can have dire consequences." He looked around, house help was notorious for eavesdropping. "There are more small actions."

He looked around at the house help and grimaced as they busied themselves with their work again. "They better not talk..." He looked back at him. "I know in our world what happens, but I also know that in our world, nothing can happen unless we do something. Isn't that something we learned from Tamaki-Senpai?"

Kyouya looked around at the servants, "I'll take care of it." He said simply, leaving it at that before pushing his own food away. He sat there in silence as he thought over his words. "I suppose so..." He finally sighed, "The key is making sure it's what you want to happen because there's no going back..." He sighed quietly, he'd never been not sure, at least not admitted it but... he ran his fingers though his hair absently something a bit uncharacteristic of him.

Kaoru looked at him and nodded slightly to agree to what he said. He stood up from his seat and walked back towards his room. "Can we not be where there are ears listening to what we are saying..." He turned to watch and looked a little surprised to see him running his fingers through his hair. He turned away so that he could keep his face from portraying what he was thinking.

Kyouya nodded in agreement, making his way down the familiar hallways, adjusting his glasses. He was still thinking but he knew challenging his father now, still in high school could end very badly. He could lose everything... Unless he played it right. He clicked his tongue in irritation and slid into his room, closing the door behind Kaoru.

Kaoru watched Kyouya's back as they walked back to his room. He hadn't realized how tall and slender the other male was, but he knew that it was all muscle. He wasn't anywhere near as fit as Honey or Mori, but his shoulders showed they carried a lot more than what he could handle. Shaking his head as he stepped back into the room, he went straight to the bed and sat down without saying a word.

Kyouya glanced at Kaoru as he slid into his room, sliding back onto his chair. "Here we are? No one to hear us in here." He muttered, resting his head back against the chair with another small sigh.

"I guess..." Now that they were back in here, he felt just a little bit awkward about fully admitting to him that he wasn't interested in women. It seemed even more strange that Kyouya would be comfortable alone with him in his room. HE wouldn't do anything, of course. He didn't think the other would even give him a chance to do anything.

Kyouya watched him, shrugging a bit. "Yeah..." He sighed quietly, setting his hands on his lap, leaning back in thought. "In truth... I've never had interest on women... never really had much interest in anyone but when I do it's never women... add that to my list I suppose..." He muttered.

Kaoru was very surprised by this and it showed on his face. Kyouya had been interested in someone at some point and it hadn't been a woman. "That is something I will keep in mind.." He looked off to the side and wondered who he had been interested in at one point. "Were you ever interested in Tamaki-Senpai?"

Kyouya glanced at Kaoru, not at all surprised at all by the surprise on his face. He folded his hands into his lap, leaning back again. He wasn't all that surprised by his question. He didn't answer at first, "Would that surprise you?" He asked, not directly answering the question as he watched Kaoru.

"Hmmm, now that I think about it... I don't think that part would surprise me." He shook his head and glanced at him before looking out the window again. He wondered if he actually did like him and if he did, then did he still like him. "You didn't answer my question though Kyouya-senpai.."

Kyouya chuckled a bit at his statement. He sighed and shook his head. "At one point I might of... he was, in a sense my first, but our relationship isn't like that. He's not like that." He shrugged, tapping his fingers on the desk in thought. "I'm content with the friendship between Tamaki and myself." He told him.

"I mean I could tell since he is so into Haruhi and all that...." He looked at him fully this time as his feet dangled off the edge of the bed. "It's strange... I didn't think anyone else in the host club had the same sexuality as me. I won't tell though."

Kyouya just nodded, fingers trailing over the smooth desk. He shrugged, "Why? Because it's a club that entertains woman? None of it's real to begin with so I don't see why it should determine anything." He pointed out. "It's all a bit act anyway..." He told him. "And I know you won't... you do and I you'd rather not know what I'd do." He told him with a smalls mirk.

"Well yeah sort of... I know it's all fake, but sometimes you can't tell with some people. Like you for instance. I can't read you at all. As much as I want to be able to read you, I just can't." He shook his head and brought his knees to his chest onto the bed, after kicking off his shoes so he wouldn't get dirt on Kyouya's bed. He figured the other wouldn't like something like that.

Kyouya shrugged as his analysis. "I suppose so." He smiled, "Then again that's because I don't want you to be able to read me." He pointed out, watching him as he leaned back. Logically there wasn't much point to this conversation, but he supposed this is what people did, it wasn't all unpleasant. "If I wanted you to be able too, you would." He told him simply.

He studied him for a long moment and then looked away. "So as much as you dislike this sort of thing, have you ever thought and liked someone now?" He winced at the way he worded it and shook his head. It was strange having this sort of conversation with him and he was sure he was probably bored with it all.

Kyouya raised an eyebrow at the question, "Haven't given it much thought." He admitted, watching him for a second before looking away, eyes traveling out the window. "Why, is there someone you're interested in?" He asked him after a second not really... good with this sort of conversation.

Kaoru shook his head quickly and turned away from him. "N-no... I was only wondering if the great Dark Prince had someone he was interested in." He tilted back and forth and followed the others gaze out the window. "I'm sure you could easily figure out who I liked even if I did have someone."

Kyouya smiled a bit and nodded. "I'm sure I could." He agreed after a second. He smiled a bit and turning back to him after a second. "And even if I did have someone... do you really think I would tell you my secrets so easily?" He challenged him with a smirk settling him in back. Of course he wouldn't...

"Well no... I'm sure it wouldn't be very easy to learn who it was anyways..." He laid out his legs and crosses his arms as he continued to stare out the window. He looked at him for a long moment and chuckled shaking his head. "Is that you hinting at there being someone or is that just a hypothetical question?"

Kyouya smirked a bit, that was quite the idea as far as he was concerned. He watched him for a moment, letting out a quiet, low laugh at the question. "You think I'd tell you the answer to that?" He asked, raising an eyebrow and adjusting his glasses. "I have no intention of proving or disproving anything, it's quite fun to watch you try and figure it out."

"I don't see why... It's not like I would be agonizing over it or anything. I would just be insanely curious. If my brother were with me, we would come up with some crazy plan to get it out of you, but he isn't here and I know that wouldn't even work either." He watched him adjust his glasses like he usually did and shook his head. The smirk made him shudder cause it looked liked he was planning something very evil for some poor unfortunate soul.

Kyouya shrugged, "Good to hear because you're not getting it out of me." He laughed a bit, shaking his head. He was well aware of his and Hikaru's tactics, he always had. They had little effect on him, since they were always so see through. He caught the shudder and just smiled to himself.
